12/07/2026: Hello. Second visit to Balsamic. We were disappointed. Minimalist menu. The servers, although friendly, seemed overwhelmed. No details about the dishes. We had a starter to share. It was okay (burrata) with the aperitif. However, the main course was disappointing: Minion steak and vegetables. The vegetables were waterlogged and covered in sauce. The water and sauce mixture didn't hold its shape on the plate. It wasn't appetizing. The Caesar salad was nothing like a Caesar salad: three baby gem lettuce leaves cut in half, one egg cut in half, and a few cherry tomatoes. €23 for the salad. A bit pricey for salad and an egg. They should really reconsider the name of this salad. This place also needs some tidying up. We were seated on the terrace next to an unkempt area. I think a trip to the dump is in order; the ambiance and appearance clearly warrant some attention. To finish, we had a double espresso. It tasted like a coffee infusion. Served in a tiny bowl. In short, we were disappointed with this meal.

They barely set up the table before the starter was served; they didn't even let us finish our aperitif. Starter, main course, dessert: 45, shipped.

07/03/2026: A superb little brasserie, just the way we like them! Burgers, omelets, Welsh rarebit… simple, generous, homemade dishes that are truly delicious. Dédé, the owner, and his wife are incredibly friendly and welcoming. You'll have a wonderful time there, in the spirit of the true bistro-brasseries that are sadly becoming rare.

06/06/2026: We were lucky that this fantastic boulangerie-pâtisserie with very friendly staff was right next to 'our' house, a wonderful AirBnB. Because of this, our breakfast was a treat every day for a week (closed on Mondays, so pick up something tasty for Monday on Sunday😁). If you want to eat delicious, authentic, and fresh products, you definitely must visit this beautiful bakery (easy parking right in front of the door). It was a tasty addition to our holiday. 08/06/2026: As a regular at this restaurant whenever I'm in Cambrai, I have absolutely nothing to complain about. From the welcome to the quality of the food, I'm never disappointed. Kudos to the professionalism and versatility of the waiter yesterday who alternated between the bar and the desserts. I'll be back for the pleasure of seeing him again ☺️

16/07/2026: Tbh they don’t even deserve that star but I had no option. I came from UK with my girlfriend as soon as we came in we could see it was a very dirty place un clean, our food was really bad the bread was old and flaky how could they even serve bread like this if they gave this for free no one would take it it was that bad, the staff was also very unfriendly unprofessional I do not recommend here at all.

16/07/2026: I was a truck driver, but I broke down near this pizzeria that day. I just asked to buy a bottle of water because of the heat. This pizzeria doesn't accept cards, but the gentleman kindly offered me a bottle of water and a small pizza, which was excellent. I highly recommend it! ;) Not many businesses would do that.

24/05/2026: Excellent experience for three people one evening at La Gazza Ladra. We arrived shortly before closing time but received a warm welcome. The atmosphere is inviting and the service is excellent. The dishes are delicious and the portions are just right. I personally recommend the tagliatelle carbonara and the homemade chocolate mousse. If you're looking for a great meal with friends or family, I highly recommend La Gazza Ladra!
