11/10/2025: Convinced by the reviews I've read here, I gave in to temptation at La Cambuse. Unfortunately, I didn't find much in the following comments: - First, the smell of fried food is striking, as soon as you enter the bar/restaurant, guaranteeing smelly clothes all afternoon. - Second, the dining room has almost no natural light (just a skylight), with very basic furniture, not very pleasant; it's quite sad to eat in. - The draft beer menu is rather poor, which is always a shame in the north. - The service is nevertheless pleasant and fast. - But I was disappointed when the frozen fries and bagged salad arrived...

19/03/2026: I had the pleasure of visiting Oasis over a year ago. I was already won over. I just went back and it's still just as delightful. A very warm welcome, impeccable service, and of course, excellent couscous. All this at very reasonable prices. A great place to recommend.

26/04/2026: After several previous positive experiences, we were extremely disappointed today, not by the quality of the food, which remained very high, but by the unbearable wait. We arrived at 1 p.m. and didn't receive our starters until around 2:45 p.m.! Some might have given up already. The main courses arrived within an "acceptable" timeframe, but we then had to wait over an hour for our desserts. As for apologies, we're still waiting... just a "we'll do better next time," if there even is a next time... What a shame. To end on a humorous note, don't order French toast; it takes them 3.5 hours to find it. Given the numerous similar reviews, it seems urgent for the owners to take action to restore the quality of service that customers deserve at La Croix ou Pile. I will be checking the reviews before booking next time.

26/04/2026: Beautiful spot in the middle of the forest. Excellent cuisine showcasing local produce, and above all, exceptional service. Highly recommended!

25/02/2026: The experience could have been good with less of a wait (1 hour to take our order, 30+ minutes for the starter despite the restaurant being two-thirds full!). We asked for the wait to be expedited, but the waitress quickly brushed us off. The dishes were fairly good, although the meat was undercooked (the rare was blue and the well-done was just rare), and there were no fries. We do not recommend it.

16/02/2026: A small restaurant with wood-fired cooking that makes all the difference. 🔥 You can taste the quality and authenticity in every bite. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming; you feel right at home as soon as you walk in. The owner and staff are truly lovely, smiling, and attentive. You can feel their genuine passion and desire to please their customers. We had a wonderful time, and it was also very good value for money. I highly recommend this place and will gladly return! 😊

01/03/2026: I received a very warm welcome at the Paris bistro. The dishes were well-prepared and delicious, the wines were reasonably priced and varied, and the service was very friendly. I will definitely return.

11/02/2026: Avoid the Pithiviers! It's simply awful, a disgrace compared to the other dishes. A €4 frozen meal from the supermarket is more nutritious.

10/04/2026: Very pleasant atmosphere, welcoming and smiling waitress. Large terrace with shade or sun, beautiful unobstructed view. Excellent food. One small drawback: the price of rosé is 30 or 39 euros a bottle...

18/03/2026: An exceptionally warm welcome in an incredible setting. Always a delight, the food is plentiful and of high quality, especially the hanger steak which I highly recommend. It's the ideal place to share a convivial moment with friends, especially since the owners are lovely and make you feel right at home. Don't hesitate...

02/05/2026: The waiter judged us based on our food choices and how we cooked our meat. He didn't bring us what we ordered, and when we asked him to recook it, he brought us the same thing. I've never seen or experienced anything like it. There was absolutely no attempt at customer service, just blatant incompetence.

30/04/2026: I ordered a 3 Brasseurs flammekueche, which was good in itself, but a bit dry, and frankly, €2 for an extra salad is extremely expensive, especially considering how little salad there was in the bowl. I was very disappointed, especially since I find it unreasonable to pay the same price for a bowl of salad and a bowl of fries.

12/12/2025: A very warm atmosphere, impeccable service, and a quality of ingredients that shines through in every bite. A perfect place to share a meal as a couple or with family. The portions are generous and everything is excellent.

03/05/2026: No star rating could be closer to the truth. If you're looking for the worst buffet in France, go ahead. The food doesn't seem fresh; if I'm not sick tomorrow, it'll be a miracle. The place isn't particularly clean, so what can be said about the staff's hygiene? They apparently don't know showers exist. Avoid this place at all costs; don't waste your money.

27/03/2026: Excellent service, friendly both when booking by phone and in person. Fast service and typical brasserie cuisine, well prepared.

10/03/2026: A pasta bake, either undercooked or out of the oven at least half an hour before, was completely inedible. It looked like raw pasta with a piece of grated cheese, and it was completely cold… I'm giving three stars for the service, though, because they agreed to let me change my order… I ordered an andouillette sausage, which was good, with frozen fries and bagged salad; I thought I was in a restaurant… They offered me a sauce, but I didn't get it. I didn't insist, paid, and left. The beer was very good, no complaints. I won't be going back.

07/05/2026: Mostly very good. I really enjoyed the wok experience... however, the fruit was bland. The coconut pearls were great!
