20/07/2026: A wonderfully cozy and welcoming traditional pub with a fantastic atmosphere, an excellent selection of drinks, and great music. The staff are friendly and attentive, making it a place you'll definitely want to visit again.

29/05/2026: I thought it was fantastic. The street is lined with bars and pubs anyway. We chose this one. Sitting outside, the beer tasted especially good watching some drunk Scotsmen two pubs down the road, yelling at passersby until the police arrived.
They had a good selection of beers, reasonably priced by French standards, and inside, as you'd expect from a true Irish pub, it was incredibly cozy with loud folk music.
Awesome. And unfortunately, it was hard to leave.
17/05/2026: We had a blast at this bar, the atmosphere and music are fantastic!
The people are lovely, unlike the bar next door 😅
I highly recommend it 😁

The cocktails were fantastic, and the welche and potjevleesch were excellent, all served by Tristan, a lovely, charming, and very helpful waiter! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ So we came back in the evening for drinks. We'd spotted some amazing cocktails that were absolutely incredible!!! And Tristan was as pleasant as ever. 👍

26/06/2026: An excellent restaurant in Douai. We had a wonderful time at this establishment, where the welcome was warm and the setting truly unique.
The meal was delicious, with perfectly balanced flavors. I particularly enjoyed the chicken, which was tender and beautifully presented on a thoughtfully decorated plate. The service was attentive, especially when the mint tea was served in the traditional way. A great find that I highly recommend.

29/09/2026: The service was chaotic. We arrived at noon and there was no one in the restaurant. It took 45 minutes for our risotto. The excuse that the risotto takes a long time to cook doesn't hold water, especially since we ordered a pizza at the same time and it arrived even later. It felt like our order had been forgotten. No apology was given.

16/06/2026: Nice hotel on our way to Calais. Beautiful town with some nice walks around the old city walls. Very dog friendly place. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant which was so much nicer than an Ibis! A few minor points: shower only ran hot (in 2 rooms), very squeaky floorboards (room 38) and it would be good to had a few hooks for our coats.
11/04/2026: Meal with members of an association; everyone was very satisfied, the food was excellent, and the products were fresh.
Highly recommended.

30/08/2026: The meal was very good 👍, but the service from the young staff needs improvement. There was no bread with the starter; we had to ask for it. There were no water glasses, so we had to drink both water and wine in the same glass. We also had to wait a long time. We never received the menu for our dessert, which was part of our set menu; we had to ask for it! It's a shame because otherwise it was very good.
19/07/2026: This is a place that truly deserves to be known! Everything was perfect. The rib-eye steak was exceptional—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. We all thoroughly enjoyed it!
The homemade Béarnaise and Roquefort sauces were simply delicious and perfectly complemented the meat.
Thank you to the entire team for your warm welcome and kindness. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back. I highly recommend this place!

The welcome was very pleasant.
The value for money is excellent, the portions are generous, and everyone at home enjoyed it!
We recommend everyone eat there.
Moreover, the opening hours (closing at 10:30 pm) are very convenient.
