03/08/2024: We returned this evening to this restaurant that we had enjoyed for the first time a few months ago. Failure this evening... my dish, chicken with maroilles turned out to be raw. Certainly it was deducted from the note. However, to justify ourselves by telling us that it was cooked in broth and it was not cooked like the others is to take us for imbeciles. Moreover, on vacation tomorrow they thought they were already on vacation I think because half of the card is no longer available and we don't say that when booking obviously. Extremely disappointed this evening, in short it is no longer an address that I will recommend in the future...

it’s the Chinese restaurant par excellence, the one that takes you back to your teenage memories.
It’s a place that hasn’t changed, with its slightly vintage decor but so authentic.
The food is simple, delicious, and affordable.
We come here to enjoy ourselves without breaking the bank, like we did every Saturday when we were younger.
This restaurant is a real throwback, in the good sense of the word.
If you are looking for a place where you will find those flavors that marked your youth, this is the place to go.

PETITE FRITE, well-deserved title.
Good products, but ultimately only fried products...
sold overpriced...
You might as well go a few kilometers further, for similar products but not at the same price.
PLEASE NOTE, don’t forget the 30 cents for draft beer because even for an order of €100, there will be no gift.
However, friendly and pleasant staff, clean and maintained place.
At this price, Victor Hugo responds to Bigot.
We will still have eaten well and it will have inspired us, for this evening, the 4 stars are deserved.

01/09/2024: The welcome is super friendly and the service is fast and efficient. We had a very pleasant time. Their fries are delicious because in Valenciennes it is difficult to find fresh fries! But recently the alcohol has been diluted strangely with ice cubes, there are no small profits...

08/09/2024: I was a little tired after more than 300 km of driving. I wanted to eat something simple, a nice setting, a nice menu with perfectly reasonable prices. Two professional waitresses, I let myself be tempted by the mussels marinière, nothing to say, on the other hand I asked for extra mayonnaise and I received a real homemade mayonnaise. So if the opportunity arises I will go back for other dishes. Aperitif + main course + pitcher of 25 cl wine + coffee for €30

22/09/2024: it's very nice very welcoming both the saleswomen and the waiter it's a place it's not long since I came with my dog the waiter knows me well and the waiters too you can talk about me after a while ago a waitress told me she's leaving soon why not keep her, she's very nice, smiling
03/09/2024: Friendly place with good hot drinks as a bonus, at very reasonable prices. What more could you ask for for a real moment of relaxation.
The terrace is sunny and offers a beautiful view of the Belfry and the town hall. And it was on this same terrace that one of the scenes from the film “Bienvenue chez les ch’tis” was filmed. Dany Boon and Gad Merad's famous bike stunt.

10/09/2024: Belle expérience dans cette très belle brasserie. Service rapide et professionnel. Nous avons mangé le filet américain et le poulet aux morilles et à la crème. Nous avons terminé par le café gourmand. Les portions étaient généreuses et tout était très bon.

05/11/2024: No star of merit but obliged to publish in putting a staff discriminating against a child with a disability to flee!!! Access to the restaurant was refused to us and moreover without any valid reason. Even the customers were shocked by the behavior of the staff, a shame.

01/11/2024: I was well received despite the crowds. The staff is pleasant. However, I remain disappointed by the American sausage which is in reality an American knacki... Too bad. And the fault is on the door, the school holidays... Look for the mistake...

Customers arriving well after us are served before us.
2 hours to be served, cooking not mastered, we ordered 4 steaks (2 medium and 2 rare) and in the end 4 medium rare received....

07/09/2024: I have been a long-time customer, and it pains me to say it but... the pancakes are no longer what they used to be (quantity) and for the 5th time I order a pancake with Andalusian sauce and I end up with Hannibal...
Moreover, in this restaurant I saw the menu for 5.5€ and now it is 10€ which seems really high to me because the meat on a spit is already ready.. and less meat in the pancake...

On the other hand, the person, (a young lady who drives a Clio registered ea 926 zz drives like a savage. And it's not the first time I've come across her. You don't like your children and you want to be dangerous with them on the road... It's your problem, but not respecting the lives of others on the road is your responsibility, your publicity.
Personally once again when it happens it will eat my bumper and we will see with the insurance and the dash cam. This young lady is crazy on the road. It doesn't even make you want to go to your place
