14/05/2026: Arriving at 9:20-9:30 PM (the sign said closing at 11:30 PM), we asked if it was still possible to eat. The waitress sighed before going to check with the kitchen. When she returned, she showed us to a table and asked us to sit down, then tossed the menus on the table without a word. Five minutes later, she came back to take our order. I asked for a little more time to choose, as I wasn't familiar with the restaurant, and she replied curtly, "If it's in 5 minutes, that's OK." At the end of the meal, we ordered coffee: another sigh. We paid, and then the same thing happened again—no words, no goodbye, until we ourselves wished her a good evening. The food wasn't bad, but the service clearly ruined the experience.

22/05/2026: Far from the city center. 15 minutes to the nearest metro station. In total, it takes 40-50 minutes to get to the center. The staff is pleasant and polite, delicious breakfast: omelet, fried sausages and bacon, many pastries to choose from, delicious coffee, fruit, a large assortment of sausages and cheeses. The room is clean, towels too, comfortable bed. There is a kettle, tea, coffee in the room. The only minus is that the room itself is small. The room is a bit cramped.

23/06/2026: We had lunch there today and unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. Right from the start, we ordered our aperitifs (a Picon beer and a diabolo) as well as our main courses. When asked if everything could be sent out immediately, we said yes, without imagining that the main courses would arrive even before the aperitifs… A rather surprising lack of organization. But the most shocking thing was the hygiene. I saw a waitress remove a bread basket from a table whose customers hadn't eaten its contents, or at least not all of them, and then another waitress took the exact same basket to serve to another table. A few moments later, we were presented with the same type of recycled basket. I refused and simply asked for bread that hadn't come from another table. The waitress, named Laura, replied curtly, "I don't have any," without the slightest apology, and then she left. Thankfully, another waitress took my request seriously and went to the shopping mall to get some bread, which shows that a solution existed. This redistribution of bread between tables is, in my opinion, completely unacceptable from a hygiene standpoint and shows a lack of respect for customers. It's regrettable, because this kind of practice leaves a very bad impression.

14/02/2026: Having eaten in many Chinese restaurants, both in France and abroad, I can say that this one is clearly among the best in France. The dishes are excellent and, above all, authentic: they aren't "adapted" to the French palate; the flavors are bold, balanced, and truly present. You can feel the respect for traditional recipes. For example, the pho is served with all the authentic accompaniments (bean sprouts, lemon, chili paste, chilies, etc.), which is quite rare and worth mentioning. The portions are generous; you leave feeling more than satisfied, and the value for money is simply unbeatable considering the quality offered. A restaurant I wholeheartedly recommend to lovers of authentic Asian cuisine!

25/04/2026: We booked a table several days ago to eat at this restaurant tonight. We just received an unpleasant surprise by email: they've simply decided to cancel our reservation (without any explanation), even though the restaurant is open and reservations for tonight are still being accepted. It was going to be our first time at this restaurant, what a shame, but we'll never set foot in it again!

The staff is welcoming, professional, and very pleasant; even during the busiest periods of service, when the atmosphere is intense, they maintain a smile, a friendly demeanor, and great politeness. As for the food, it's impeccable: delicious and beautifully prepared dishes that are definitely worth the trip. The whole experience is enhanced by a stunning view, making it even more enjoyable.

14/04/2026: A wonderful discovery: Le Beau Jardin. This restaurant offers fresh, seasonal cuisine with a real focus on quality ingredients. The lush greenery creates a pleasant and unique atmosphere, perfectly in keeping with the concept. The service is attentive, and the overall experience is well-crafted. A great find in Roubaix.

20/05/2026: The sun was still hiding a little, so I was the only one outside. Greenery, birds chirping ... lovely. For less than 20 euro I had tender chicken cutlets in a cheece sauce made with a local cheese. It was served with a salad, fries and some bread, which was a good full lunch for me. It was really tasty, especially for that price, the condiment for the fries was also really good. The service was also really friendly, made me feel at ease... Absolutely worth a visit, unbeatable price/quality ratio!

11/05/2026: The brasserie doesn't look like much, but the welcome and attentive service are excellent. I used to stop there for a snack after a walk. This time, I came for a delicious and beautifully presented meal. Very good service. Just...we would have liked a little more sauce with our fish. Highly recommended! 🥰
