20/11/2025: Booked for a birthday at 1 p.m., we arrived early to have drinks at the bar. The waiter from the restaurant refused and came to us to ask us to be seated, as the kitchen closed at 1:15 p.m.... Finally, he suggested we start with an aperitif...?! Anyway, after ordering our aperitifs, the wait to order our food began. The only worthwhile dish was the forest mushroom starter... what a shame. The cheese plate, ordered à la carte, had only two small pieces of cheese out of four. As for the presentation, two of the four worms were chipped, the steak knives were dull, and by the time the two waiters returned to the dining room, the meat was cold. The setting was very nice, but the quality/service/price ratio was disappointing. Whereas just a few weeks earlier, everything at the bar had been perfect. We will only return to the bar from now on.

13/10/2025: Meal for a group. The setting is beautiful, but the meal is canteen-style: everything is self-service (even though the main course should have been served at the table) and the quantity is insufficient. The quality was well below the asking price (75 euros!!).

01/02/2026: Far too expensive for what it is. The sauna was out of order, and the restaurant menu wasn't to my liking. We weren't even allowed to choose our meal time. I had requested 8 pm (even confirmed by email), but this was refused at check-in under the pretext that the restaurant was "full," even though there were still plenty of tables available. We booked a duplex suite with a view, but the "view" was of the entrance roof. A room above the bar is absolutely not recommended either. The music is so loud that it feels more like a nightclub than a hotel. No, I won't be going back. There are much better hotels, for far less money.

30/01/2026: The spa at the Royal Hainaut is magnificent, with only one drawback, and this is the second time I've experienced it: the hammam was out of order. It's a shame because it's included in the "spa package." There's also a lack of supervision. Let me explain: several people were taking photos and videos in the pool, including other guests... it's disrespectful. You're not responsible (hence my 5 stars), but it does infringe on everyone's privacy. As for the treatment itself, it was simply perfect. I had Ninon. Attentive to well-being, kind, and very professional, I highly recommend her.

28/07/2024: Very unpleasant welcome from the lady at reception, looks down on herself and is very haughty! We had to change trails twice because they were blocked, other than that we had a great time

20/11/2025: I went to this place to film my new video. The staff was very pleasant, the place was very nice, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I recommend it if you're feeling peckish.

25/10/2025: Respectful welcome, unfortunately hygiene is not up to scratch: old chemical meat, lots of charred meat crust, tired fries, dirty toilet. Big health risk if hygiene is not strictly applied. A big spit of chemical meat from the day before was lying on the tap near the counter (to collect the meat?). Disgusting. It's smoking in front of the entrance, it's scary. People watch Indo-Pakistani films without stressing about cleaning. Hygiene needs to be fixed quickly. Very dirty snack bar. Too much neglect. Smell. Danger.... The bins are full to bursting, it's overflowing but it's not emptied... Dangerous...

03/01/2026: I came here for the first time yesterday and found the place very large. (Too large?) In my opinion, when it's packed or if they're hosting an event, the atmosphere must be fantastic! The restrooms are clean. I had a white flat (just to try it) and it was good. The service at the register and at the table was friendly. In any case, if I'm looking for another coffee spot in Lille, I'll definitely be back! Thanks!

21/01/2026: The only padel club that kicks out its customers at the end of their allotted time, even though there's no one else waiting. They even go so far as to turn off the lights, forcing us to use our phone's flashlight to get our things. It costs absolutely nothing to let a game finish if, by chance, there are no bookings after us; it just doesn't make us want to come back and play here.

12/01/2026: We just ordered takeout from you, and as we started eating, we were quite surprised. We ordered a bacon and goat cheese salad with practically raw bacon (remember, it's pork), a burger ribs, and instead received a Mexican sandwich. We also ordered a Savoyard sandwich, but there was barely any cheese in it. This was our first time ordering from you. One dish not being to our liking is understandable, but three out of three dishes were unacceptable. We are very disappointed.
