The owner is remarkably friendly, and the chef greeted each table with great discretion and politeness, reflecting the quality of the cuisine we were served: authentic, generous dishes made with superb ingredients, beautifully enhanced. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the tables are spaced far enough apart to fully appreciate the ambiance and the moment. This has become so rare these days! This kind of restaurant is a real gem: a team of passionate restaurateurs who love their work and put the customer at the heart of everything they do. A huge thank you for this wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

The dishes are delicious, and the waitress is incredibly kind and accommodating, adapting dishes to customers' allergies—something not every restaurant can do. The restaurant's interior is lovely, even if the facade doesn't immediately entice you to go in. We'll definitely be back, and keep up the great work showcasing local produce.

The service is warm, simple, and genuine; you immediately feel at ease. The menu is varied and generous, with something for everyone. I particularly loved my dish: as beautiful as it was delicious, a true delight from start to finish! A truly wonderful place that I highly recommend.

25/08/2026: We went for lunch. The service was a bit slow, but the waitress was very friendly to everyone. The burger was large and tasted good, although the meat was somewhat bland. The salad was also plentiful and tasty. The vegetarian wrap was a good portion and also quite good. They have very little seating, but it's recommended.

13/09/2026: A wonderful Italian restaurant – we ordered pasta with meatballs and a vegetable pizza. Large portions, delicious. There's plenty of seating on the terrace. If you arrive early (around 12 noon), you won't have to wait for a seat. Afterwards, there's a line.

15/08/2026: While the restaurant is called "La Cantine du Musée," a friendly place, I would prefer to describe it as "the gourmets' canteen." It's flawless: subtle, balanced dishes, impeccable service, and a warm atmosphere. In my opinion, a true gem in Bayonne!
