06/04/2026: Absolutely perfect! We're from the plains and tried it for the first time, everything was perfect: the welcome, the food, the setting 🍕🍝🇮🇹 I give it 5 stars!

08/03/2026: Excellent Italian restaurant, where we enjoyed three different pizzas, each more delicious than the last! Special mention goes to the choice of filled crusts, which we've never seen anywhere else. The €10 children's menus are more than enough for 10-year-olds. Absolutely no complaints! If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back! 👍🏻😉

14/05/2026: Delicious meal, incredibly friendly service, and a lovely atmosphere. One small drawback, however: we would have liked a little more time between the appetizer and the main course. We started eating at 7:35 pm and finished at 8:10 pm, which was a bit too quick for our liking.

04/04/2026: A fabulous restaurant in Saint-Pée-sur-Nivelle. The cuisine is excellent, very refined. A truly original blend of flavors. Go without hesitation!

30/03/2026: Delicious and plentiful food! The children's menu includes breaded chicken with potatoes, €10, and it's tasty. The faux filet mignon with potatoes and salad is also very good; you'll leave satisfied. The staff is very friendly; the bartender tries to communicate and understand you in Spanish, which is much appreciated. 100% recommended. Food served until 2:00 PM.

10/05/2026: We ordered two chicken salads and frankly, I've rarely seen anything like it: fresh ingredients, incredibly generous portions, and a special mention for the homemade croutons. Thanks again to Dany for the warm welcome and the pleasant conversation. Go there without hesitation!

23/03/2026: We stopped at this lovely restaurant on our way back from a trip and it was a wonderful discovery. In addition to the warm welcome, the food was absolutely delicious (I highly recommend the risotto, simply divine) and the price very reasonable. I hope to return soon and I highly recommend it!

03/05/2026: My review concerns the new Henri IV since its reopening in October. We were used to coming as a family until now and wanted to see what the new owners had created. Inside, the decor is more refined; the kitschy, easily recognizable portraits of dear Henri IV are gone, and it's brighter. As for the menu, we were used to the garbure (a hearty vegetable and meat stew) and were therefore a little disappointed that it wasn't on the menu, but we quickly forgot this detail because the meal was delicious from start to finish. For my starter, I had asparagus, which was very good; the Parmesan cheese added a real touch of something special. For my main course, I had the lasagna, which was extremely good, fragrant, with a multitude of flavors. Finally, homemade tiramisu for dessert, which was just as good! In short, I loved it, but I hope the restaurant manages to stand out because it's not the only one offering dishes with local ingredients, but without the little touch of the old Henri IV and its rustic dishes.

26/04/2026: We were thrilled! Our dinner tonight was outstanding – the appetizers (pea soup and trout tartare), the main courses (duck and pork shoulder), and the desserts (tiramisu and raspberry sauce) were all delicious. The Aussau beer and the two glasses of red wine were also excellent. There were two of us, and we were seated immediately without a reservation. Thank you so much for the fantastic service – everything was very quick, and we felt completely taken care of.

05/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at this restaurant. Their white sangria is amazing, and their cocktail of the day was well-made. We ordered a pizza, which was very good (the one with chorizo), and the octopus was excellent, especially the garnish. The Caesar salad was decent. The kidneys were tasty but a bit heavy, as there was too much of them considering the small amount of garnish. The desserts were very good. The service was excellent. I recommend this establishment.

17/05/2026: We had a delicious lunch. Very good quality, excellent preparation. The hamburger ("Bear") and the fish (today there was hake) are exceptional. One of the waiters also spoke Spanish and we managed to understand each other well. We had lunch on the terrace; the atmosphere was good, and the birdsong and the tranquility of the wonderful green landscape helped make the meal even more delicious.
