25/02/2026: Excellent restaurant with friendly staff. I often eat there and have never been disappointed. The food and menu are simple but high quality, all for €17 (starter, main course, dessert). This is worth noting, especially given that more and more restaurants on the coast are chasing profits and are often just a haven for the trendy crowd. The bar is also pleasant and lively, particularly on weekends with the pintxos. In short, a great place to eat in Bayonne!

In addition to the warm welcome, the food was absolutely delicious (I highly recommend the risotto, simply divine) and the price very reasonable. I hope to return soon and I highly recommend it!

11/03/2026: We both got sick after eating the Goxoki menu, which included sweetbreads (too salty), a €15 supplement for a sole "mille-feuille" (actually three fillets, not fully gutted, which didn't stick to the teeth and had little flavor!), and profiteroles. One detail: although stylishly cut, the extra lemon was cut on both ends, so the juice leaked out. Finally, a wait of about 1 hour and 45 minutes when there were only four tables (on a weekday) is far too long. The dishes were beautifully presented, but the value for money was clearly poor, even though we opted for a set menu.

09/03/2026: This restaurant was a wonderful find. The service was courteous and efficient, the décor elegant and welcoming. The food was delicious, and the wine list was equally impressive. I strongly recommend it for anyone visiting Bayonne and interested in an extraordinary dining experience.

05/11/2025: Excellent experience at this beach restaurant, which had been recommended to us. A warm and very friendly welcome from all the staff. The food was much appreciated by our entire group, with a variety of very tasty dishes. Our visit marked the end of the season; it's a shame, we would have gladly returned a second time... so we'll definitely be back next year!

26/02/2026: I love this place. The setting, the location, the decor, the service, the menu—everything is there for a pleasant time, with the ambiance of a Parisian brasserie and the warmth of Béarn! A special mention to our waiter, Jean-Daniel, a ray of sunshine (and incidentally, a very good waiter 😉). I highly recommend this brasserie!

25/02/2026: Excellent welcome, attentive and efficient servers. There were five of us, which allowed us to sample a variety of dishes, each one as well served as the next. Excellent salads, very generous and fresh, meats equally generous and tender, and a little bonus: homemade fries👍. Desserts are the same, also homemade. In short, a very good brasserie on the Pau square, "shade and sun." I recommend it.👍😀

27/02/2026: I apologize for being so blunt, but as a Lebanese person, I absolutely cannot endorse what is presented here as a "Lebanese restaurant." It's Lebanese in name only. Nothing, absolutely nothing, evokes the authenticity of our cuisine. The decor in no way reflects the identity or soul of Lebanon. It's a far cry from the warm and welcoming atmosphere that is an integral part of our culture. The tabbouleh is unrecognizable: dry, unbalanced, and lacking freshness. A true Lebanese tabbouleh relies on fresh parsley, finely chopped ingredients, a perfect balance of lemon and olive oil, and an airy texture. Here, we have a dry and tasteless dish. The falafels are simply a failure: the texture is wrong, the taste is bland, and there's no depth of spice. They're supposed to be crispy on the outside, soft and fragrant on the inside, not dense and tasteless. But the worst part is the knefeh. How can you serve something called knefeh without cheese? It's the very essence of this dessert. The contrast between the melted cheese and the crispy pastry is fundamental. Here, we're faced with an imitation that has nothing to do with tradition. It's extremely disappointing. Fortunately, there was a little arak to salvage the experience, which says a lot about how problematic everything else was. Presenting this type of cuisine as "Lebanese" gives a false and impoverished image of one of the richest and most refined cuisines in the Middle East. When you choose to represent a culinary culture, you have a responsibility. If not authenticity, then at the very least, respect for the basics. It would be far better to get serious training in Lebanese cuisine or to thoroughly revise the menu, rather than selling a distorted version to customers who lack the necessary background to judge. I will NEVER return.
