11/08/2026: Excellent. Always reliable, but the prices keep going up and it's annoying.

02/08/2026: The food was very good, but the wait was endless! We had reserved a table for 9:30 pm, and when we arrived, we had to wait 15 minutes for a table (which was fine). Then we had to wait 45 minutes for our aperitifs! And another 30 minutes for the hot main course! That's a total of 1 hour and 15 minutes before we were served!!! The main course was very good, but the desserts were not very good at all...

01/08/2026: We ordered oysters and prawns. The oysters were excellent, but the prawns were a joke—as small as the ones you get at Rewe in Germany. The mayonnaise à la maison only arrived after we asked for it and didn't look homemade at all. The prawns were just slapped onto the tray next to the oysters, straight from Intermarché. That's not cooking, and it's not even a cold dish. It's a complete rip-off. Then they tried to rip us off too and charged us €7.50 more than what was on the menu. After we paid, the receipt blew away in the wind (what a coincidence 😉), but I caught it, and we were able to check the bill. So we went straight to the waitress and demanded a refund, and we got it.

05/07/2026: The setting is pleasant, but it's not worth the price of what you'll find on your plate. You can find much cheaper, and perhaps even better, food. The dishes are nothing special. What a shame.

27/06/2026: Horrible service, unpleasant staff. We received overcooked meat (duck breast) when we ordered rare. The waiter told us he wouldn't take it back, it wasn't his problem. My friend ordered 1.2 kg of ribeye steak. The bone weighed at least 600g.

07/10/2025: Locally sourced cuisine, fresh and light, served on a cozy terrace in the shade of a chestnut tree in Place Charles Panier. And if Nini tells you, with her charming accent, that she doesn't have time to serve you right now... Give her some time and come back a little later after taking a stroll through Entrevaux ;-)

05/10/2025: The concept is great, the dishes are excellent and colorful. The downside is the atmosphere created by the owner, which isn't very pleasant; it was a bit awkward.

24/07/2026: The waitstaff was haughty and lacked any human touch. A shame in a place like Lourdes... I won't be returning anytime soon with sick people who just want to enjoy a friendly and fun time.

23/07/2026: We ate without waiting too long for a table to become available. It's a good restaurant for a quick and cheap meal, nothing fancy. The side dishes are generous with frozen fries, but for less than €15 you can get a full meal right in the center of Lourdes. The waiter who served us seemed rather unpleasant and unfriendly.

05/08/2026: I received a very poor reception from the staff. Being condescending to people in such a modest environment is unacceptable. There are better ways to treat customers, especially if you want to keep them. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

11/06/2026: Nice, pleasant, and relaxed place, very friendly owner. Thursday evenings: music and a match for those who are interested 😉 The pizza was very good and generously topped.

13/08/2026: A very disappointing evening. We've been going to this bar for over two years, and tonight one of the waiters was unpleasant and drunk, both when we tried to order a drink and when we asked for information. Very disappointed.

10/08/2026: The atmosphere and welcome were excellent. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2026: The food was decent considering the prices, with a wide selection of dishes. However, there was a slight drawback regarding hygiene. The floor was particularly sticky throughout the restaurant, to the point that my shoes stuck to it when I walked, which wasn't very pleasant. I also found it inappropriate that the light fixtures were dusted during service. This caused dust and airborne particles to settle, some of which ended up in my food. It's a shame, because with a few improvements in these areas, the experience would be much more enjoyable.

13/07/2026: Everything is very tasty, I even celebrated my birthday here, I recommend it to everyone. The only downside is that I live far away, but everything else is top notch.

07/12/2025: We dined last night at Le Montaigu, nestled in the heart of the Domaine de la Bretesche, and the experience was simply exceptional. The six-course menu captivated us with the finesse and balance of the dishes. Each plate was exquisitely precise and refined, without ever feeling heavy, a characteristic sometimes associated with tasting menus. The wine pairings perfectly complemented the entire meal: the sommelier, despite being a recent addition to the establishment, demonstrated remarkable professionalism, excellent advice, attentiveness, and exceptional charm. A special mention must also go to the restaurant manager and his entire team, who created an atmosphere that was both elegant and relaxed. There was no pretentious ambiance, but rather a genuine spirit of conviviality, making the experience all the more enjoyable. A huge congratulations to the entire team for their superb work: we left with unforgettable memories and a definite desire to return. P.S. We would be delighted to receive the list of wines tasted during this dinner.

16/11/2025: Well, okay, so-so... Being used to fine dining, I expected better from this beautiful place, and above all, I thought the value for money would be there... The dining room is lovely but unoriginal, although the fireplace is very pleasant. The service is really lacking. The waitress reads from a note hidden on her tray to tell us what's in the dishes, and they often forget to refill our wine or bread, forcing us to ask for it. Big mistake! My friend is gluten intolerant, and they brought us the amuse-bouches with gluten in them! Luckily, we asked if they were gluten-free, otherwise it would have been a disaster... As a result, we waited a long, long time for the rest of the course. We drank our champagne to fill our stomachs; the wait between courses was far too long, and given the size of the portions, we got hungry again very quickly. The dishes were decent, some were better than others, but nothing exceptional. The second major mistake: no cheese! I, who rarely eat dessert, had no choice but to have one (citrus-flavored, which I don't particularly like...). We're in France, and in a region overflowing with diverse and varied cheeses; it's unthinkable not to offer something like that. What about someone with diabetes?! In short, my partner gave me this meal as a birthday present, and it was a bit of a disappointment that will be hard to get over. A small positive note for the head waiter and his helpfulness and kindness. The price was very high... even in Monaco, you don't pay that much for this kind of meal. Sorry, we won't be back... there are better options elsewhere, even though the setting is unique.

25/07/2026: They already closed when we came in but they let us stay which was nice. The service was nice and attentive. Food was fresh and tasty.

16/07/2026: I do not recommend this restaurant. There were four of us on the evening of July 15th. We ordered a Bayti Adana, a chef's platter for one person, and a chef's platter for two people. The fries were poor quality and very dry. The meat didn't seem fresh and had a strange odor. It was very spicy, which seemed to mask the meat's flavor. The ground beef was also dry and overcooked. The salad had too much dressing. The bulgur was cold and tasteless. The staff was friendly. However, when I expressed my dissatisfaction after being asked if everything was alright, no compensation was offered. I ended up having to eat elsewhere. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

31/05/2026: A beautiful old building which has sadly gone to ruin. Clearly the owner does not want to spend a cent on basic maintenance and upkeep. It was sweltering and the ducted aircon does not work so we had a portable air-con unit in our room which vented to outside through our open balcony door hence making it completely redundant. The mini bar did not work, the pillows were a million years old, the beds were not comfortable and the shower head could not be fixed to the wall. The pool was green, full of algae and mould and clearly hadn't been cleaned or used for a long time. The gym completely unusable. It's heartbreaking as the building and grounds are gorgeous. I would not stay here. Find another hotel in town.

21/06/2026: I don't know what the campsite is like, but the restaurant is absolutely terrible!!! We waited 2 hours and 45 minutes for two measly pizzas, the bottoms of which were burnt and gave the rest a bad taste. We asked for our pizzas more than five times—sometimes ourselves, sometimes other customers, sometimes friends—but it made no difference. There's no drinks menu, so you don't know the name or price of what you're drinking!!! The waitresses walk right past you but don't see you and know nothing about the food or drinks!!! The only positive thing was the musicians who entertained us that evening!!! It really doesn't make you want to come back!!!!

23/05/2026: For our family reunion in the region, we stayed at the campsite with most of the family. We received a very warm welcome from the manager, Marielle, who went out of her way to ensure we could all be together and celebrate in good conditions. Thank you to her for her patience with the children. Thanks also to the restaurant staff, who found it quite a challenge to keep up with our orders. We highly recommend this very peaceful campsite (when we're not there 🤣).
