12/09/2024: Lovely atmosphere for a quick drop in to sample to Green Fairy! Lovely staff, nice ambience - just watching the world go back with a glass of absinthe!

Service is good and happy hour is good but charcuterie board was shop bought meats with lettuce and mystery meat

09/09/2024: Has refuge in name only. We are closer to a hotel and a mercantile vision. In fact, I was thinking of taking a meal break there before heading back to the Peclet-Polset refuge. Arrival at 1:45 p.m. but shelter closed until 3 p.m., so no meals or even drinks. I recognize that we were at the end of the season (Friday August 30), but still... For me, a shelter is open all day 😌 And I wasn't the only one to be disappointed and not understand. On the other hand, the view is very beautiful, but if you are looking for a (well-deserved!) more "authentic" break, go as far as the Alpage de Ritort (45 minutes walk maximum). It’s much smaller (drinks only), but it has a lot of character and a lot of charm 😉
28/08/2024: On August 20 at 3 p.m., no more cider, no more waffles when these products appear on promotional slates and menus, this is not normal. Prices seem to have soared since the change of ownership (the chestnut cream crepe €6.50 for example). The owner's welcome is not very warm

12/07/2024: To avoid absolutely, the staff took advantage of us given our young age to make us pay much more than the initial price, they charged us 65€ instead of 50€. Unfortunately we realized it too late, very big scam ⚠️

15/09/2024: Very nice place to relax with a drink. The tapas are of good quality. The DJ's musical selection which doesn't really suit me.
14/09/2024: I was told about it. They probably oversold it to me. It seems that “it was better last year” and that this phrase comes up every year.
The cocktails are okay but not amazing either. The atmosphere is friendly. A lovely evening at an address that is not exceptional.

25/09/2024: bien servi a 20h45 le mardi lors d'un retour de vacances, accueil sympa, moules frites correctes, le seul souci c'est que le parking devant possede des cameras et pas à l'arriere ou nous nous sommes fait voler notre caravane attelee ce entre deux voitures !! visiblement il y a beaucoup de vols sur ce parking!!! effractions pendant que vous dejeunez ou dinez! si vous vous y arretez, mettez la devant et ayez un oeil sur elle depuis la salle car nous ne nous remettons pas de ce qui nous est arrives!

23/08/2024: Dans ce restaurant, on pourra, soit passer un très bon moment, soit une déception.
J'ai moyennement aimé les plats.
Mais l'endroit , les gérants sont '' spéciaux''.
Ce jour là on a bien rigolé du contexte dans la salle du restaurant.
Peut-être que d'autres fois je n' aimerai pas .

Very good service, nice presentation of the kebabs.
The meat was very good (comments from my friends).
For my part, I hadn't eaten a kebab for 8 years (since I became vegetarian) and the falafel one, a delight!
You can go there, it’s very good 😊

28/08/2024: ENOOOOORMOUS pizzas! They were overflowing from the plate!
Pleasant welcome, very friendly waiters, served quickly. It was hot, plentiful and not expensive at all for the quantity and quality.
We will happily return

23/06/2024: Disappointing, arrived a little before noon, on vacation, passing through. We were treated to “we only start at noon, now we’re on break!” from the waitress, “we’re on break here” from the waiter, we heard it right the first time 😂
Ok, without smiling, in a tone... here in Vendée it's always welcoming 😃! We were made to wait in front of the entrance to the restaurant "Le Chalet". They could have seated us, waiting the few minutes until noon, or made us wait nicely.
We left, a neighboring restaurant welcomed us very warmly and with a smile 😉
14/06/2024: It's changed a lot, it's a shame.
The cuisine is not bad but the prices are expensive for what you find on the plates.
Atmosphere, well we can't say since we were the only table.

27/07/2024: We are loyal customers, whether for the winter or summer menu. Never disappointed, the quality of the dishes is excellent, the atmosphere is warm. In winter, the room has mountain decoration and accompanied by a traditional raclette is a must. In summer, the cozy terrace with its relaxation area is just very pleasant.
The boss also has an absolutely friendly dog who is basically the mascot of the establishment. I can only recommend this restaurant in Amberieu in Bugey

02/09/2024: We wanted to have a breakfast while our car was charging and came across this place by accident. They don’t have any breakfast on the menu. We just curiously asked the owner if they served any breakfast, she was kind enough and readily agreed to prepare something special for us, outside the menu. The breakfast was delicious and just perfect for us with an amazing presentation. There is also a cool open backyard where you can enjoy your meals.
Please visit this cafe if you’re around. Special kudos and mention to the lady.
