Breakfast really great.
27/04/2024: It is absolutely OK to spend the night before the crossing.
The distance to the ferry is optimal.
Rooms are clean and quiet.
It is not suitable for a longer stay.

So what can I say, this restaurant should be avoided as quickly as possible. The staff does not understand a single word that is said to them. I went there 8 times this month out of 8 orders, only 1 was done well. The other 7 were total rubbish. We went to 8 this afternoon on 03-18-2024 at 11:45 a.m., I arrived with no other apartments for us, 40 minutes to serve 1 meal with out of 8 orders 8 errors... I made my pancake again because I don't I didn't want fries and p.s. all the raw vegetables. I told him 3 times no fries and he still came back with them. Does not speak or understand a single word of French. Lost staff for only 4 people.... Flee this restaurant ah and uncooked kebab chicken with a stale taste in it.

29/09/2024: Un cadeau offert par des amis ,pour un repas découverte ( Epicure) bon le repas à 90€ / prs , sans fromage sans le vin, sans l'eau , sans café.
Donc deux verres de vin et pichet d'eau facturé 4.50 et deux cafés a 5€ pièces , toujours du repas 42.50 légèrement excessif,surtout qu'un plat trop salé nous gâche la viande et un autre plat nous arrive tiède dommage pour une bonne viande en sauce .
autres bémol manque d'intimité entre les tables ,un petit paravent serait agréable pour une majorité de couple dans la salle .

The cellar is magnificent. We will come back there for an aperitif and go up to the top of the castle.

21/09/2024: First experience at Pedra Alta and I won't set foot there again!
We had two menu cards for a table of 13 people, we had to get additional menu cards ourselves from the counter.
They forgot a dish that I had to go and ask for in front of the kitchen because the waitresses don't really care about the customers.
We had to ask several times for sauces which we had requested at the same time as the dishes. Once again we had to stand up to get things done. The sauces arrived when we had finished eating.
We ordered coffees and desserts. After several reminders, the coffee finally arrived but the desserts never arrived. We lost our patience and left. On the other hand, at the time of the bill the desserts were indeed on the receipt even though we never had them and the coffees were counted twice.
17/09/2024: I gave one star because it was not possible to put any!
Among the first to arrive accompanied by more than 2 young children, when it opened at 7 p.m.
Almost 2 hours of waiting since our order while all the surrounding tables were empty when we arrived and had already received their dishes and were at dessert.
After waiting so long with no excuse for the delay, we received our dishes completely burnt, bitter, inedible!
“Homemade” fries saturated with oil..
A dish in this condition is “understandable” but the 4 requested were ready, received as hard as rubber and black, burnt (photos attached).
Not forgetting their toilets in a pitiful state.
To flee!
Hoping I don't get food poisoning...

07/07/2024: We came as a family this evening and really great. The plates are very well stocked, the manager adorable, the decor so cute you'd think you were going back to your childhood. We will come back without hesitation. I haven't eaten truffade in years and it is delicious.

16/09/2024: To avoid, they make foreign people wait for 1 hour, we found 4 couples there. The meal was cold and not seasoned; the servers are very special, even sad, I really don't recommend 0 would be perfect.

02/11/2024: Pasamos por un poco de café y algunos pequeños bocados sin reserva y el gerente del café nos consiguió una mesa sin esperar - tiempo. Primero, seamos honestos. Usted viene aquí para que el ambiente se empape en el hermoso interior y la vista de su icónico jardín interior. El servicio fue muy amable, rápido y atento - que no es la norma en París, incluso si es un hotel de 5 estrellas a veces. Pedí un simple croissant con mi café, que no estaba en el menú y el camarero tomó la iniciativa de conseguir uno para mí. Me encantó esa clásica mentalidad de servicio de hospitalidad. Probamos la tarta de mousse de vainilla de la firma del pastelero que estaba delicioso. 2 café, un croissant y un pastel llegaron a 58 euros. Para nosotros valía cada centavo. Fue una gran manera de relajarse, disfrutar de su fina porcelana y cubiertos, empaparse de ese lujo parisino y poner los pies en alto para un breve descanso antes de ir a nuestro próximo paseo por la ciudad. Una crítica sería que las alfombras parecían necesitar una buena limpieza profunda.
20/06/2024: Maravillosa experiencia. Es un lugar hermoso, y los pasteles para el servicio de té eran todos excepcionales. El té en sí era realmente especial y fragante. El servicio también fue muy atento y agradable. Sin duda volveré la próxima vez que esté en París!
