02/07/2024: Yerba was extremely rude. Although the wait for service was long we were going to stick it out until the ride server named Yerba charged us $2 Euro each because we had used the restroom while waiting! My family and I would’ve gladly waited longer but the ill treatment and insistence on payment by Yerba forced us to move down the street to Chatelet where we enjoyed much more friendly service and delicious crème brûlée and a 2021 Chateau Neuf de Pape. Avoid St Jacques and the unfriendly service here at all costs! Plenty of other wonderful restaurants in the Latin Quarter to have dinner without brusque, non French ownership.

29/08/2024: Bonne surprise ce restaurant. Les plats sont fins et les desserts excellents. Le personnel est vraiment extra. La terrasse fait croire qu'on est en vacances !

19/07/2024: The karaoke technique is professional. Minimalist bartender work, no presentation, we serve you the coke, like that (valid for everything except beer). There is a minimum consumption for karaoke and the bartenders harass you to make sure you respect it. There is no trust in customers and that shows the color because there was a consumption which was paid twice, now it is too late. The fundamentals of customer relations in commerce are not respected: trust and friendliness. There is quite a good atmosphere but the regulars spend 4 times more than others at karaoke.

06/07/2024: Établissement que nous connaissons pour y avoir déjeuner l'été 2023. Ce restaurant est bizzard ,beaucoup de personnes travaillent dans cet établissement... je vois qu'il y un problème, le personnel est au ralenti...je suis un ancien maitre-d'hotel il manque un chef de salle ! Notre choix une choucroute très chaude voilà un bon point ( c'est le seul ) un choux " insipide " aucun goût ... l'accompagnement de mauvaise qualité les pommes de terre quelques une cuitent d'autre pas ! Le serveur la conseillé de mettre beaucoup de moutarde ...il m'a dit qu'il ne mange pas la choucroute ici ! Une salade césar la très bonne et deux 🍺 artisanales très bonne , le café ☕️ est très amer manque de qualité ou machine trop chaude . Vous avez un belle établissement dommage, J'espère que vous tenir compte de notre avis et ceux déjà publié...

12/06/2024: Rapport qualité prix du plat du jour correct, mais service long pour un restaurant qui n’était pas plein. Accueil correct.

30/06/2024: RESTAURANT TO ABSOLUTELY AVOID reservation at 7 p.m., confirmation email + second reminder email to confirm our reservation. we arrive at 6:55 p.m.... restaurant closed because the manager has decided so because he has no one in his restaurant... he looks down on us and takes no consideration of our reservation, he laughs in our faces and claims that his site does not work.. 800m further, you will have another much nicer Portuguese restaurant.

30/06/2024: I traveled half an hour to get there after having booked for 7 p.m. and having received the reservation confirmation + a reminder 2 hours before by email! When I arrived, the restaurant was closed and the manager apparently said that they were always closed on Sundays and had nothing to do with my reservation or his site which was clearly misleading customers without any professional conscience on his part! I do not recommend! There is a French-Portuguese restaurant a little further away or CAVADO in the same area.

Because really, let's start at the beginning, when I see certain behavior of "customers", I still wonder how the staff manages to keep calm. The boss "Charlie" is a real talent, a real owner who has been with him for over 30 years and who knows the business. It's his restaurant, not yours, and makes it clear to you if you don't respect the codes of politeness, good manners, or respect. What's abnormal? The boss and the waitresses, war machines, in the kitchen, in the dining room, at the bar, they don't have the time to tell you about their lives or to listen to yours. Their concern is to serve you quickly and well! I have been frequenting this restaurant for several years from time to time. No fuss, Starters: simple and fresh Dishes: that of the day with Portuguese specialties and served Portuguese style (good quantity) or others a la carte Dessert: your choice and homemade! Café Delta and not Richard twists guts...so we have a second one. And if you are cool, and used to it, he offers you the little drop ;) And the ultra reasonable bill for quality and quantity. No, nothing to say... In reality, we feel good there, it's very clean, we can eat quickly there, or linger with friends, and we have the impression that everyone knows each other, it's holy and not catchy. tourist ! Afterwards, if you are looking for gourmet, chic, or licking...change direction thank you and don't change anything the caçador!!!
