02/07/2024: As two cycling couples we stayed for five nights in the rooms above Café Velo. Our beds were super comfy and made up with sheets and a throw (instead of a duvet) just as requested. Both rooms were clean, spacious and well-equipped (with the added advantage of a shared kitchen). The bathrooms also worked well – great shower, and all the sockets and hooks in the right places! We ate in the café on our first evening – lovely simple small plates with glasses of fabulous wine. We also had delicious breakfasts sitting outside overlooking the river. Truly wonderful banana loaf! The locking garage was a real bonus for our bikes. Anna and Charles couldn’t have been more welcoming – and we look forward to a return visit!

10/06/2024: Stopped for a late lunch and a drink. Service and food was very good. Location facing the river and bridge made the cafe very accessible. Staff spoke good English.

01/01/2025: I’ve visited mama restaurant several times. This time we ordered Penne creme de truffe and Pizza. They were really good. I like their Saint Germain spritz as well. However, they could work a bit on the seatings for 6 prs group. They didn’t have any other option than the picnic table which can be improved. Service was a bit slow as well this time, and waitress was having long conversations with other tables so we had to call another waiter to take our additional order and ask about our order

01/01/2025: Went there with the family for New Years Eve. Fantastic views and very chill atmosphere. The pizza chef was very welcoming and said hello when we walked in, which set the stage for a pleasant evening. We got a cozy table in the corner. The kids chose from the kids' menu- which included a pizza of choice, drink, and dessert- raspberry, and marsapone ice cream was a favourite! The pizza was fluffy, crispy, and delicious - even the adults fought over a piece or two! We ate a Stracciatella-cheese dip with truffle, crispy artichokes. Followed by squid, octopus salad, and then a seabass ceviche. Wow! The flavours (with some unusual combinations) worked and were surprisingly good. The service staff were happy to helpful to answer questions. Would like to go back to try some other dishes and the desserts also. Highly recommend.

31/08/2024: This morning we had our little coffee at this address. Pleasant atmosphere and warm welcome :) Beautiful location on the square facing the sea and the arcades. The boss Sophie is very smiling.

15/09/2024: Very nice place to relax with a drink. The tapas are of good quality. The DJ's musical selection which doesn't really suit me.

14/09/2024: I was told about it. They probably oversold it to me. It seems that “it was better last year” and that this phrase comes up every year. The cocktails are okay but not amazing either. The atmosphere is friendly. A lovely evening at an address that is not exceptional.

19/01/2025: Sunday afternoon, we sit down for a snack. The room is almost empty, a few people outside. The table next to us waited a very long time for a coffee! We wait 15 minutes for our table to finally be cleared. The waitress deigned to give us the cards unfortunately she never came back to take our order!!!! 30 minutes or more to eat nothing We decide to leave.... The waitress looks at us without reaction.

15/01/2025: Welcome to the Auberge du Port, where we reinvent the art of mistreating customers! An unforgettable experience thanks to a room manager as friendly as a 'no parking' sign and as competent as a goldfish at the wheel. Sorry for coming to the Auberge du port as a tourist trap! what audacity on our part! Special mention to the moment when she asked us to leave, something never seen before! (according to her, her tired brigade couldn't manage) I point out that when we sat down we heard "we're coming to take your order"... only 45 minutes later still no one. Honestly, if you're looking for a place to laugh (yellow) or test your patience, this is it. Otherwise, look elsewhere, where the customer is perhaps still somewhat respected. We give 1 star for the cuisine which we were not able to taste but if it is up to the rest we are not wrong.

26/08/2024: I can't rate the dining experience. They should reflect the schedule well. It said they closed at 3:00 p.m., we arrived at 1:45 p.m. and they didn't want to serve us. We (three people with a child) came walking from the center of town, so our experience, when choosing this restaurant, has been quite disconcerting.

02/08/2024: We came a bit by chance, and what a surprise to come across this English pub. It's Friday, it's fish and chips, and it's perfect with its mushy peas. Heartwarming welcome.

15/11/2024: Many people think that this restaurant is halal, but it is not. If you are looking for a place that meets halal standards, I advise you to check elsewhere. Regarding my experience, the cuisine, service and atmosphere did not live up to my expectations.

04/10/2024: No atmosphere, the staff not smiling at all and neither the waitress, not polite and then it's up to the customer. The merguez are not cooked.

01/08/2024: Top, very friendly staff, fast service, delicious dishes and very clean toilets, 10/10!
