28/06/2026: I tried this restaurant a few years ago and I'm always delighted to go back. The service was impeccable and the meal was delicious.

27/06/2026: A perfect, gourmet experience at moderate prices. The food is excellent, and the dishes are beautifully presented. The service: thank you again to the woman and young man who made the experience exceptional. They always had a kind word with each dish, a touch of humor. The ambiance: admittedly, it can be a little noisy, but having the kitchen visible behind a glass partition (to control the smells) is also a concept worthy of a fine dining establishment! This is exactly what I look for when I go to a restaurant. Thank you to the restaurant team.

21/05/2026: Food: Overall good, but the green salad recipe needs improvement: it was far too salty. And the strawberry tiramisu: we had to wait quite a while for dessert; the bowl finally arrived, but is it supposed to be eaten hot? The hot bowl melted the cream... just look at the state of that tiramisu (photo 3). Service: Mixed. It's never pleasant to see the group that arrives after you order before you; it's clear there's an organizational problem and a lack of communication within the team. Atmosphere: Catastrophic. I don't know if it's the design of the room that amplifies the noise, but we were seated next to a group of seven people who were shouting and laughing very, very loudly... At least make the effort to move the tables for groups to the back of the room! Conclusion: I won't be back and I'll stop recommending Big Mamma restaurants. Perhaps all these issues are due to the restaurant's popularity? In any case, what B.M. restaurants have to offer no longer meets my criteria.

18/07/2026: So, where to begin? Let's start with the servers, all incredibly friendly, laughing with the customers, pleasant, and going out of their way to ensure everyone has a great time. Next, the wait? Very quick, but not too quick. We were barely seated when they brought us carafes of water. We didn't have to wait; they were quick to serve our cocktails and our food, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Now, let's talk about the food. Well, I absolutely loved the pasta; it was truly delicious. My boyfriend ordered the curry pasta, which is the first time I've seen it in an Italian restaurant, and frankly, I highly recommend it! As for the price? It's affordable for everyone; I didn't find it very expensive. And let's talk about the atmosphere. We ate outside, and they had a lovely purple light, which added to its charm. The menu lists allergens, which I think is great! I highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you so much! The only downside, which I don't really consider one, is that there's no parking right next to the restaurant! But it's not a big deal! We'll be back very soon!

18/07/2026: While on a family holiday in the area, we stumbled upon this restaurant. What a pleasant surprise! It was delicious! The portions were generous, and the children thoroughly enjoyed their pizzas. The ice cream was also scrumptious, the perfect way to end the meal. I highly recommend it.

12/07/2026: A wonderful discovery! The best pizzas we've ever had: excellent dough, quality ingredients, and generous toppings. We went back for a salad, which was also very generous and just as delicious as the pizza. Well done, and a huge thank you!

30/06/2026: We had dinner there one evening, then returned for lunch on a Saturday with family and friends for my son's christening. The setting is magnificent, in a forest with a large park all around—it's truly beautiful! The outdoor terrace is very charming with a lovely view, and the interior is very nicely decorated; it's chic and bohemian, really lovely. I found the food very good. I had asked for a tiered cake for dessert, and my request was completely fulfilled in terms of decoration. The cream puffs/nougatine were excellent! I can't wait to come back and try the Sunday brunch! I highly recommend this restaurant! ❣️

(Advance booking recommended) Fair prices, generous portions of starters and main courses (well-balanced and beautifully presented) and good quality ingredients! We weren't expecting such a beautiful plate of trout as our starter! 🙏🏻👏💖 We're staying at Domaine de Trimeule (the restaurant was recommended by them on their website). A perfect way to complete our short stay.
