01/06/2026: Appalling… Sunday, May 31st at noon, Mother's Day. The restaurant was packed, but there was no menu, just a €40 set menu (starter, main course, dessert). Reservations only… Two-hour wait for a starter, an octopus salad served in a tiny container. The main course (fisherman's stew) arrived forty minutes later… No apologies from the waiters (they were like ghosts), ice cubes and bottled water requested twenty times… A terrible experience…

11/07/2026: We were very disappointed, especially since we had been here before and had made a reservation. The sculpture weekend doesn't justify a wait of almost two hours (the church bells can attest to that!!!) for two pizzas! Our Lambrusco unfortunately had time to warm up, and there was no ice bucket...only a few ice cubes. As a result, we didn't enjoy the pizzas, and sadly, we had to skip the ice cream sundae! We won't be stopping here again when traveling with the campervan...what a shame.

23/04/2026: Let's be honest, you pay for this place's worldwide reputation; the location is captivating, and so is the atmosphere. However, the food is nothing special. The pizza is good, but nothing more; the carbonara is too salty, and the same goes for the pasta alla vongole. The desserts are alright, but again, you wouldn't go back for the food, but for the experience. The price is out of the question; it's not justified by the quality of the food. It's true that going to the restroom and thinking that DiCaprio or Jordan have also been there is quite amusing... worth trying at least once.

05/07/2026: Nice place equipped with misters to cool the terrace... the only good point... the port of Somail is a superb location... it's a shame that the only ice cream shop there offers industrially produced ice cream of more than mediocre quality, which is completely unworthy of this fabulous spot on the banks of the Canal du Midi... especially at the price they charge, it deserves superior quality, even artisanal, ice cream... first and last time for me!

19/03/2026: I must say the owner who served us was beyond great. We arrived in Paris, checked into our Airbnb and googled food near us. We had several different options but decided on this spot based on the pizza menu. When we arrived around 2pm, the owner let us know the kitchen was closed. He could’ve easily turned us away, but he still took us in and fed us. Although the kitchen was closed and we could not order pizza, he offered us lasagna and green salad for adults and French fries for the little ones. We also had the creme brûlée, chocolate mousse and the tiramisu. It’s was divine! He served us like he served anyone else. The food was hot and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was calm but inviting. He played the blues on the tv and just vibed. The bar was open to others and everyone was so pleasant. Every one could tell we are American but they were never rude. Everyone smiled and greeted us. We came back later that night for a bottle of wine. He let us know he would see us for breakfast the next day. We definitely dined a second time and the service was just as before. If you have an Airbnb nearby, I’d definitely recommend stopping in and dining. The people are personable, and caring. Thank you all for caring for our family while we traveled abroad experiencing Paris!

18/04/2026: The pizzas are simply delicious, we thoroughly enjoyed them, and the kids said they were the best pizzas they'd ever eaten. Hats off to the owner who doesn't give up easily and still knows his stuff. Imagine, I worked there when I was 15, and now at 38, I'm back eating there with my little family from Bordeaux ;) Well done! 😘

15/07/2026: It wasn't exactly amazing before the change of ownership, but now it's reached new heights... On the evening of the 2026 World Cup semi-final, not content with having extended their terrace to the point of seating customers on a public bench, they didn't accept any card payments! So, the cash cow started churning on a World Cup night—it would be foolish not to take advantage of it! The waiters, seemingly pulled out of thin air, tried to keep up appearances, until this dear young woman supposedly managing the terrace started hurling insults at a woman in her sixties, threatening to physically assault her to force her to leave, simply because she was seated and had ordered a drink at her table instead of at the bar. In short, this bar is best avoided, unless you enjoy this kind of atmosphere.

15/07/2026: I came to watch France vs. Spain. The terrace was packed, the pints were cheap, but the only problem was they didn't accept credit cards, only cash. However, there was a major issue: a waitress got into an argument with a woman and insulted her in front of everyone, even though she looked about 60 years old. Frankly, I was shocked that a member of staff would speak to a customer like that, right in the middle of the terrace. The prices were reasonable, but the experience was ruined by this kind of behavior, which is a shame.

06/06/2026: A complete disaster, avoid this place! The organization is nonexistent: I've waited an hour for a pizza before, and even when you order 20 minutes in advance, nothing is ready when you arrive. No wonder, the pizza maker spends all his time on TikTok live streams instead of watching the oven. As a result, the pizza often arrives overcooked, rock hard, and they can't even cut it properly—it's cut haphazardly with shapeless pieces. The pizza maker works without gloves and never washes his hands. A total lack of professionalism and a complete disregard for the customer. Never again!

27/05/2026: Avoid at all costs! The service is appalling! It's impossible to reach them; they never answer the phone. To top it all off, the service in the restaurant is simply terrible. Zero professionalism; I absolutely do not recommend it. One person is on their phone watching TikTok, and another isn't even wearing gloves while making the pizza. It's completely confusing. And the wait is far too long for the quality of the pizza.
