30/05/2026: A very bad experience. I felt I was treated differently because of my background. The staff's attitude seemed inappropriate and discriminatory. I am deeply disappointed by this lack of respect and I do not recommend this establishment.

20/07/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! We arrived at 11:45 am and were asked to come back in ten minutes because the kitchen wasn't ready (even though the opening hours were clearly displayed online and outside: 11:30 am). No problem, the weather was lovely, so we took a stroll around the neighborhood while we waited. We gave them 15 minutes just to be safe and returned at noon. When we came back, we were told to come back another 15 minutes later, without any apology or even a greeting. This behavior was truly unprofessional. We would have preferred they simply announced right away that nothing would be ready for another 30 minutes, which would have saved us from waiting around for nothing. In a response to another Google review, the owner retorted to a complaining customer that the restaurant has never opened late past noon. This is simply not true: we experienced this firsthand, and delays seem to be the norm at this establishment.

27/07/2026: We've been going to La Roma restaurant for over 30 years. We've never been disappointed by the welcome, the food, or the service. A big thank you to all the staff and the owner. We had another wonderful evening celebrating our daughter's birthday. Thank you for your hospitality.

09/09/2026: Friendly welcome, good products too, but the shop has been closed since the beginning of August, with no sign announcing its reopening. Even before this summer, the opening hours were unfortunately very erratic, never matching the times displayed or listed on Google. What a shame.

The products are average quality at a slightly excessive price, but hey, we're practically in the Marais district, so maybe they can get away with these kinds of prices 😔 Update May 15, 2026 A week ago, I bought some Scarmozza cheese because it was available near my place! The guy started to take one and then changed his mind (I remember it very well). He gave me another one without asking when I planned to eat it. Except it expired 4 days later! I wasn't paying attention, and bam, right on May 12th, mold! I hadn't even opened the package, and I still haven't opened it to take this picture for you!! He sold me a Scarmozza that expires like 2 days later 🤢 It's a disgrace... I hope there will be some karma coming back to haunt them very soon! RUN AWAY!

05/06/2026: The owner is moody and awful; I don't give my money to someone who speaks rudely. He regularly kicks out his loyal customers without any good reason. It's a shame because the food is actually quite good. But I'll never set foot in that place again.

13/09/2026: Nice campsite by the water. Beautiful spots, especially under the trees. You can go on beautiful bike rides from the campsite. The sanitary facilities are fine and clean. The washing-up area is a bit small. And you have to pay for bread rolls in cash, so always have some money with you! The restaurant upstairs is beautifully situated and overlooks the lake. Great food.

05/08/2026: The meal was very, very good, from the Ocean Salad for adults to the children's menu and the desserts (ice cream and fruit salad) – nothing to complain about. The service was quick. The staff was very pleasant. The only minor drawback was that the restaurant could use a quick sweep (dust and dead insects on the floor, a few cobwebs on the ceiling and chair legs), but I wouldn't say the place lacked hygiene. This is certainly due to the fact that at this time of year, the terrace is being used more and the restaurant windows are open to create a breeze. The restrooms were very clean.
