28/08/2026: I find that the map changes too often

03/08/2026: I ordered through the app for delivery at 8 PM, but it arrived at 7:45 PM and was incomplete. I waited 40 minutes for the rest of my order on a Monday. This meant I had to eat cold food, which ruined my evening. I ordered another order to pick up, but I'm completely disgusted with the service and I'm going to uninstall the app altogether.

12/07/2026: A sign with a humorous message asking you to say hello... The welcome was the complete opposite. No olives with the aperitif, clearly reserved for regulars. Set menu €32 when the sign says €30... Changing a chalkboard sign must be tricky. Doggy bag €1... In short, a tourist trap.

20/05/2026: The hotelier responds more politely to bad comments on this page than in real life.

19/08/2026: The kebab wasn't good, it had a small, plasticky taste with herbs, and the people at the counter didn't smile and gave dirty looks.

14/09/2026: Extremely disappointing experience. If you are Khaleeji or with Khaleeji friends you are asked to pay over 200€ just to sit in the table! A JOKE. We felt singled out and discriminated against because of where we come from. No customer should feel that their nationality determines how they are treated or what conditions they are given to make a reservation. The service was just as bad. The staff were rude, dismissive and showed very little respect or basic manners. What makes it worse is seeing reviews from other customers describing similar problems with the staff going back years. It’s disappointing to see the same complaints about their attitude and customer service and apparently very little has changed. Cleanliness is another serious concern. We saw a mouse in the hallway. For a restaurant at this price point this was shocking and immediately made us question the hygiene of the place. Maybe try calling pest control? I would not recommend La California. There are plenty of places in Cannes where customers are treated with basic respect and not racist.

13/09/2026: We visited in early August, and unfortunately, the experience left a very bad impression. The fact that they impose a minimum charge specifically on Khaleejis is honestly shocking. It says a lot about how this place chooses to operate and treat its customers. What made it even worse was the attitude of the staff. They were extremely rude and acted as if this were the only place anyone could possibly go to in Cannes lol. The arrogance was completely unnecessary. A lot of my friends and I ended up cancelling our plans to visit because of this experience. Cannes has plenty of amazing places where guests are actually welcomed and treated with respect. With that kind of attitude, they can keep it.

11/08/2026: I'm sad to have to speak of it in the past tense, as this place has just closed its doors 😢 The owner had created a welcoming and beautifully decorated space, thanks to all the employees who contributed. Thank you for all your themed evenings and for the friendly service at the bar! It's so sad that such a lovely establishment is closing in the Pays de Gex. All the best to you all for the future!

19/08/2026: We enjoyed it just as much as last year; honestly, one of the best thin-crust pizzas I've ever had. I especially recommend the Mexican pizza! And all for a very reasonable price. Highly recommended!

17/08/2026: On a very late Sunday, we ordered pizzas from this establishment. The staff were very friendly and pleasant, and the pizzas were very good. I highly recommend it.

22/08/2026: The manager is guilty of failing to assist a person in danger. A friend went there while being followed by a man at night to ask for help. The manager simply replied that she had to leave and that she "didn't want any trouble." It's a disgrace, avoid it at all costs.
