09/08/2026: Leaving Lake Peyrolles, my stomach screamed "PIZZA!" So I had to find an excellent pizzeria. I wandered down Avenue Charles de Gaulle for ages, desperately searching for one, and boom, there I was, facing "Pizza Peyrolles - Chez Patrick," at the end of Avenue Charles de Gaulle, which looks a bit like the face of Charles de Gaulle resigning from his post, but never mind, being starving, I ordered their signature pizza: anchovy pizza. Astaghfirullah, the atmosphere was great, worthy of the movie "Camping," but apparently, the pizzas had been waiting too long for Patrick...

08/08/2026: The pizza was passable, but nothing special. The crust was thin, like something you'd get frozen pizza from Leclerc or Carrefour. For the price, it shouldn't cost more than 6 euros. A bit of a shame... The taste was the same... But the atmosphere was good nonetheless.

19/08/2026: I recommend the exotic sundae...it's amazing. The homemade ice cream is truly delicious and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it. We hadn't made a reservation and waited 5 minutes because the friendly waitress didn't want to seat us in the direct sunlight. A gem that deserves 5/5, despite what the complainers say—they'd be much better off cherishing their local heritage instead of tearing it down.

14/08/2026: It's a real challenge to find a better artisan ice cream maker! An institution and by far the most delicious ice cream in the region!! The vanilla is simply incredible!! And for those who are quick to criticize, at least take the time to research the place before rushing to your phone to post all your negative reviews....

29/08/2026: Very disappointing since the takeover Le Saint-Pierre used to have a very good reputation, but since the takeover, the quality has clearly declined. The service was deplorable, the dishes very disappointing, and the meat was definitely best avoided. The pizza was also a disaster, with a far too undercooked crust. It's a real shame, because the establishment has an exceptional location and had everything it needed to offer a great experience. As it stands, I definitely do not recommend this place.

01/07/2026: At Salvatore's, you're welcomed just like in Naples: with smiles, kindness, and Italian generosity. The advice is spot-on, the fresh pasta delicious, and the coffee simply perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal; it was a wonderful discovery that I highly recommend. One small drawback: the owner has a rather strong personality. Arriving at 12:05, I was told, "It's 12:30! The hours are on the door!" So I waited, and was seated fairly quickly. Antipasti, still-warm pizza dough, good advice on the order... but no water on the table, and when the gentleman next to me asked for a carafe, he was given a San Pellegrino. As a result, I didn't dare ask for one. He's a bit disorganized, it's a take-it-or-leave-it situation, but the neighborhood regulars keep coming back. He's easygoing and straightforward. You go back for the food and for the owner's personality.

30/06/2026: The pizzas are good, but the restaurant only accepts cash payments; neither restaurant cards nor credit cards are accepted. Surprising practice.

21/05/2026: Friendly welcome. Disappointed with the food. I booked half-board for dinner and was surprised not to find a starter and dessert buffet as advertised on your website, and to have to pay €7 per glass for wine, which was included in the half-board package.

19/07/2026: It's a shame I didn't check the reviews before coming; it would have saved me this bad experience. Personally, I don't recommend it at all! We ordered a simple Margherita, but the pastry was really strange, almost inedible. Furthermore, the hygiene of the place clearly leaves much to be desired, which doesn't inspire confidence.

23/08/2026: During the Montauroux festival, we received a very warm welcome. It was a bit late, and at 5 am, we were allowed to have dinner even though it was quite late (while others had their kitchens closed). The burgers were good.

20/07/2026: Unsurprisingly, given the other reviews: the wait time is extremely long. 25 minutes for the order to be taken and 1 hour and 20 minutes to be served. Why? Because the owners simply refuse to hire more staff! On a Saturday night, there was only one person making pizzas, and the two owners were incredibly disorganized. Don't be surprised if you go bankrupt tomorrow; how are you managing to stay afloat? You're the only pizzeria in the area.
