15/12/2025: What a surprise! We found this little "épicerie" which is basically a grocery store but the owner is also a chef, who is Italian by the way just saying, and serves a couple of Italian dishes so we sat down for a wonderful lunch, turns out, with great ingredients and a bottle of Sardinian red wine which was also quite a surprise, fresh and fruity! The Lasagna Della nonna was shoveled into my mouth it was so good! Also the antipasti and the cheeses were simply great and just everything was cleaned up and all plated went back licked clean. Small parties only as the place can't handle more than 8 people outside.

28/02/2026: This is truly my favorite pizzeria, and I've tried many in different towns, but I can tell you that if there's one reason to go to Pontrieux, it's to try La Piazza. The people are lovely, the food is excellent (especially the calzone), and the place is incredibly cozy. Thanks again to La Piazza for these delicious pizzas.

01/01/2026: Looking for a restaurant after the fireworks, we ended up at La Bodega. Beautiful setting, warm atmosphere, very crowded after the fireworks, but it was worth the wait. The Parma ham appetizer was very generous. The octopus salad was also quite generous. The spaghetti alla lupara was excellent. And the tiramisu was huge and delicious. The wood-fired pizzas looked tempting, but we'll have to try them next time. 😊 The waitress was very kind and gentle.

10/09/2025: What a gem of a campsite! From the moment you arrive you feel the love, warmth and hard work that goes into this place. Beautifully set in nature, fresh bread every morning, delicious pizzas, and a really nice swimming pond for hot days. The pitches are also super spacious. Our 2-year-old had the best time too. There isn’t much for kids, but that actually sparks creativity, and it’s also the reason why we chose this campsite in the first place. There’s plenty to explore for (young) kids! The sanitary facilities are simple but spotlessly clean; if anything, a newer building wouldn’t hurt, but honestly it didn’t bother us at all. We had zero disturbance from other guests, and being there in the low season made it extra peaceful. There is plenty to do nearby if you don’t mind driving. (swimming in Lac de Serre Ponçon, the best hikes, charming villages like Montclar and Saint Paul sur Ubaye and more adventurous outdoor activities) A calm, friendly spot in nature we’d love to come back to make more memories. Thanks to the lovely owners that were great in communication.

08/09/2025: Beautiful location on the banks of the Ubaye River Our bungalow was clean and modern Affordable price However, the evening meal was tedious because the service was very slow for practically nothing left on the menu except lasagna and pizza I ordered a cheese plate for €12, which was served without bread without being told it was out So the restaurant lacked anticipation for this weekend when thousands of bikers were heading to Barcelonette

14/03/2026: Excellent service, the waiter was very professional and attentive. The medium and porcini mushroom pizzas were truly excellent. Offering herbal teas is a brilliant idea. Plus, the setting is fantastic. I highly recommend this restaurant!

06/01/2026: It's okay, but nothing special. The food is quite basic and lacks a bit of flair. Honestly, considering the price, it's not really worth it. It's a shame because it's edible, but there are definitely better options in the area for the same price.

01/11/2025: Not a very good experience for the price, not great pizza, soggy because of the oven, the waiter told us a lot, no dessert, no gesture of goodwill and not very welcoming, the drinks were good, a shame for this standard.
