22/11/2025: I've always been very happy with Da Salvatore's calzone, but tonight I was really disappointed. It was undercooked: the mushrooms were still crunchy, the egg barely cooked, and the dough raw in places. Some areas were even soggy, giving it a doughy texture. I just hope I got a bad one, because it's usually my favorite place to eat my calzone.

24/12/2025: We had dinner there upon arriving in Bidart. We arrived around 8:30 pm, there was hardly anyone there, and we were served quickly. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the pizzas were good (special mention to the Burrata and the Raclette) and the perfect size—not too big, not too small. The only downside is the location. Situated in an industrial and commercial area, it doesn't do the restaurant any favors.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve Dinner – Huge Disappointment We dined at Le Petit Amalfi for New Year's Eve. My friend had long wanted to eat at an Amalfi restaurant and was very excited about the experience. We chose Le Petit Amalfi over Grand Amalfi solely because of its proximity to the Champs-Élysées so we could watch the fireworks. We had come all the way from Brussels specifically for this evening. The restaurant offered a special New Year's Eve menu for €110 per person, including a choice of starter, main course, and dessert, as well as mocktails. The photos posted on the restaurant's Instagram account showed beautifully presented dishes, which was what one would expect for a New Year's Eve dinner at that price. Regarding drinks, only one mocktail was available: the virgin mojito, with no other options offered. It's worth noting that Grand Amalfi offers more choices for the same menu at the same price. The starter served was very basic. The salad and prawns lacked presentation and any particular culinary skill. The main course, beef with truffles and foie gras, was a huge disappointment. When the plate arrived at the table, the contrast with what had been shown on Instagram was shocking. The presentation was very crude, lacking any refinement or enhancement of the ingredients, and in no way corresponded to a New Year's Eve dish at this price point. The disappointment was immediate and profound, to the point that we found it hard to believe that this was the same menu as advertised. For a New Year's Eve dinner costing €110, this dish clearly fell short of expectations. When we pointed out these discrepancies to the staff, we were told that the chef at Le Petit Amalfi is not the same as the one at Le Grand Amalfi. This explanation is difficult to understand given that the menu price was identical in both establishments. Faced with this situation, we decided not to order the main course and to leave the restaurant. After discussion, we weren't asked to pay the bill even though we had already eaten our appetizers. I feel particularly bad for my friend, who had been looking forward to this moment with such enthusiasm. What should have been a special New Year's Eve turned into a huge disappointment. This experience highlights a problem of consistency between the online advertising, the price charged, and the actual service provided for a special event like New Year's Eve.

01/02/2026: My partner and I often come here for lunch or to order pizzas; the atmosphere is cozy and the menu is very tempting. Special mention for the risottos! A great place to remember in Nérac :)

18/01/2026: This is one of our favorite restaurants, without a doubt. We've been going there for seven years now, and we never hesitate to make the trip, as the experience is so worthwhile. The food is excellent, always delicious and generous, the service is impeccable, warm, and attentive, and the whole experience makes each visit a truly enjoyable one. It's always a great pleasure to come back here. A sure bet that we recommend without hesitation. :)

07/12/2025: A very good place, warm and delicious! The staff is very friendly. One small drawback: it's quite noisy. A table of 15 was really close together, but you can tell that even without them, the sound system is difficult to operate.

30/11/2025: The prices are a bit high considering the portion size (we had pasta), however, the food is very well prepared, and you enjoy your meal. The service is efficient and incredibly friendly. The interior could be described as cozy, or as cramped depending on your perspective, but it's undeniable that space is a little limited, unlike the parmesan cheese which was a nice addition to the pasta.
