10/12/2024: La Strada now renamed L'arcane could be good, but wasn't. We chose to eat there because they have a wood-fired oven, which is usually a basic guarantee of pizza quality, but our pizza bases were soft, doughy and under-cooked, so the topping soaked into the dough creating a sloppy mess that made pizza inedible. This was doubly unfortunate because they used good quality flour and good quality fresh ingredients that were spoiled by the badly cooked base. As a bit of a pizza purist, I'd been hoping for nothing more elaborate than a basic well-made Napolitaine with black olives and anchovies. Unfotunately nothing so simple was available, so we had to opt for something more elaborate, whose topping, rather surprisingly was mixed with slightly warmlettuce and mache. They really need to keep it simple and master the basics before attempting more fanciful variations on classic pizza. Our bill came to 45€ for two inedible pizzas and a half bottle pichet of pinot. Finally, later in the evening had indigestion of the sort that I associate with eating bread from bakery chains that use rising agents rather than proper sourdough.

18/09/2024: We went to this place because the reviews were favorable and I confirm. Beautiful place, welcoming and accommodating staff (we didn't have reservations, which I recommend), we ordered 3 beautiful large pizzas and very tasty. A significant point for those who do not live in Avignon, the Oratory car park is just a short walk away. Another detail, the total bill was very reasonable considering the services (€60 with drinks) We were able to see other very tempting dishes which also made us want to eat. In short, nice restaurant, we'll come back there sometime!!

20/09/2024: Stop at the Poule Blanche!! Superb restaurant, with exceptional staff! Excellent salmon! Almost like in Stockholm! 😉 The boss and the waiter take great care of the most difficult customers, like me! We will come back, as always, with great pleasure! PS: When will we see nougat ice cream, guava syrup and Scandinavian burgers?!?! 😉

03/12/2024: Very warm place! There were 6 of us for lunch, we had pasta, pizza, escalope and having tasted everything it was faultless. The dishes are very well presented, the portions are generous and the products used are of QUALITY, you can feel it straight away! The homemade desserts are to die for. Especially the tiramisu, for more indulgence for my part I had the gourmet coffee, it’s faultless, homemade chocolate mousse, homemade tiramisu and homemade panna cotta, a treat. Fast service, the managers are smiling and attentive to any extra requests. Very reasonable price/quality ratio. Looking forward to returning this time for a romantic dinner.

06/06/2025: Going to Pizzeria Puglia is like a trip to Italy. Everything is authentic... three brothers with a single vocation: to make you happy. Between the kitchen, the pizza oven, and the dining room, the trio complements each other perfectly! It's touto fatto à la casa... even the spicy pizza sauce. The dishes are very generous... with no waste (we manage to finish it). I'm sure... if you ask for "big hunger"... you'll be served. 👍👍👍 for the young woman who served us... (top-notch service!)

02/09/2024: Vegan and pizza lover, I finally found my favorite plant-based pizza: the prestige vegan pizza! Airy and soft dough and rich and tasty filling. Perfection! Thanks for letting me eat great pizza again!

06/12/2024: Very good time, but a little improvement possible We had a great time at Del Arte. The food was excellent, and the service overall top notch. However, at the end of the meal our glass was cleared without being asked if we were finished, which shortened our experience a bit. Too bad, because there was still a little to drink, and we didn't have time to react. Other than that, everything was perfect, and we will happily come back.

25/09/2024: A more than successful return to this restaurant, a true Le Havre institution. A couple in charge, welcoming, friendly, dynamic, authentic and deserving. The kitchen is perfect with made in Italy products. The decor is fresh and bright and gives an incredible facelift. May this restaurant become the headquarters for our work and relaxation meetings. Long live the Luciola 2.0....
