20/03/2026: During my three-day business trip to Maubeuge, I dined there three evenings. I highly recommend it for the quality and quantity of the food, the atmosphere, and the peaceful setting. The staff is very welcoming, polite, and attentive to their customers. The value for money is excellent, and the menu is varied. I highly recommend it.

16/03/2026: I come here very often to eat, and I always enjoy the food. There's no need to go skiing; we eat excellent Savoyard fondues and raclettes at this restaurant, and the homemade desserts are always delicious if we haven't had enough after our meal. I highly recommend it to anyone craving mountain cuisine.

15/03/2026: Update (March 2026 - we visited in November 2025): no response from the manager despite two emails. One reply via AI, zero sincerity. A word of advice: more than 10 years ago, it was truly fantastic. Today, it's very bad. It reminds me of a scene with Louis de Funès in "L'Aile ou la Cuisse" (The Wing or the Thigh) with the cicada relay 😉. What a shame. Our request is unreasonable? Really? Invite us to make up for the mass-produced meal we were served and perhaps consider it an apology for a birthday dinner ruined by the food. Fine. Boss, stop your nonsense. I used to come here when I was a student in Lille. The restaurant was a real institution; it was delicious. Now, look at the other customers' comments about your bread from Match and your deli meats from Auchan. Be honest with yourself or publish your supplier invoices instead of clumsily defending yourself. Maybe it's good on weekends (with good ingredients, I don't know), but during the week it's all mass-produced. What a disappointment! While the fondue itself was decent, the bread and side dishes were mass-produced. No enjoyment whatsoever. We don't understand the previous reviews. A special mention, however, to the waiter who was very friendly. Otherwise, this restaurant isn't worth the trip. Update from November 29th to my review of the 3rd: I wrote to the establishment following their suggestion (see the comment on the review) and received no response. I conclude that beyond the very mediocre experience I had, the establishment provides purely formal responses using AI but has no integrity. I'll let future customers form their own opinion.

25/03/2026: Peace be upon you. The shop is substandard, and regarding security, a person named Saeed does not respect customers. Also, the person in charge of the shop is indifferent and unfit for management.

25/03/2026: I'm not giving it one star because I'd already been there in person. I took a chance ordering through Uber Eats/Deliveroo, and there were no issues with the food quality, but I think my photo speaks for itself. Here's a dish for €21.00: the famous "Exceptional Piece of Iberian Pork," seared on a griddle and seasoned with fleur de sel = 5 or 6 slices, and, most importantly, sold without any side dishes. No complaints about the taste of the other dishes, but the price is outrageous.

18/03/2026: Lunch Special The waitress mentioned that all the dishes were part of the set menu. So I ordered the platter, and in the end, I was charged an extra €5. After complaining, she apologized, saying it was written in very small print. Why didn't she tell me there was an extra charge? A bit silly, isn't it? She should have refunded it, as good customer service would have been. However, after insisting, they refunded us for a coffee. I don't like this policy. Disappointed

13/03/2026: Well, probably one of the best lamb shanks that I’ve eaten. But the music is really loud so it’s hard to have a normal conversation. Also, we’ve spotted a little cockroach running at the side of the bar counter. Please consider changing those wooden chairs as back supports in them are absolutely horrible.

18/02/2026: Good brasserie food, the staff are welcoming and the service is fast, the only downside is the proximity of the tables, you eat almost with your neighbor and hear all the conversations from the neighboring tables.
