The chef took the time to explain the new menu, prices, and reservation procedure, which was very much appreciated. The meal was excellent, very well prepared, and perfectly suited to the takeout format. The value for money is fantastic! In short, we loved it and will definitely be back, even for personal orders!

02/12/2025: First experience at Vert Mont, and I'm sorry to say we were disappointed. Upon arrival, we waited by the fireplace, which was pleasant, especially after an hour's drive (thanks to Lille's traffic jams!). Then we waited quite a while at our table before getting anything to drink. We found the portions very small. Two of us don't eat pork, and instead we received a tiny portion of mushrooms. For a Michelin-starred restaurant, this is quite surprising and disappointing. Some of the servers were excellent, others rather stressed, which made me feel uncomfortable. We had a lovely time in a superb atmosphere, but I don't think we'll be back. It's a shame; this is the second time I've been disappointed by one of Florent's restaurants (Krevette previously)... and I was such a fan of Bloempot.

15/02/2026: I am unfortunately very disappointed with my experience at L’Othentique. We waited 35 minutes before anyone even came to take our order, and then almost another hour to receive our food. The wait was truly excessive. Regarding the food, we had ordered our meat medium-rare, but it was far too overcooked. I had ordered beef skewers. Since they weren't cooked to the correct temperature, I sent my dish back. After such a long wait, I wasn't really hungry anymore, and I made it very clear to the waitress, three or four times, that she didn't want to remake the dish because I really didn't want it and simply wanted to cancel the order. Despite this, she insisted, explaining that "it was important to the chef" that I take my food anyway, and she put it on my plate to go even though I hadn't touched a single thing. When the bill arrived, the kebab was still charged. So I pointed out the error before paying. The waiter then took the takeaway bag from me, saying, "Since you don't want it, we'll keep it here then," and the dish wasn't charged in the end because he kept the bag. I found the way the bag was taken back to be really unprofessional and inappropriate. Between the very long wait, the incorrect cooking, and the clumsy handling of the situation despite my repeated requests, the overall experience was disappointing. It's a shame, because we were hoping to have a good time.

14/02/2026: Beyond the Valentine's Day evening, the organization was nonexistent; the servers unfortunately couldn't do anything, they were overwhelmed.

19/10/2025: Very good establishment, excellent value for money, the only small downside concerns the Picon white wine that we had as an aperitif, it is specified as 10 cl on the menu, far from it, I repeated the experience when we got home!!! For 4.5 euros it stings a little apart from that everything is perfect

09/11/2025: I've been eating there for over 13 years, and I think it's changed. Our last couscous was lukewarm and bland. We're not regular customers, so we don't get smiles, but it doesn't matter, we'll go back. Speaking your mind isn't the same as speaking ill of someone.

20/02/2026: I went there before the renovations and now it's much bigger and more beautiful. I was very surprised by the change. You can go without hesitation; the food is very good, and a little robot brings you your drinks.

31/01/2026: My daughter says: "It's very well organized here, the food is good, you can serve yourself as much as you want, and it's nice and warm in the restaurant. There's even a robot that serves drinks and sings for birthdays, and there are sweets too."*** She is 8 years old. Dad will tell you that we had a lovely time as a family; we ate well. There's something for everyone. It's clean, and the robot that brings your drinks makes you smile. We go there once a year and are never disappointed.
