04/08/2026: Good evening, I came in this evening, and I had to deal with a young man who made a mistake with the sandwiches. I told him absolutely no onions in one of the sandwiches I was ordering because my son has a severe allergy, and I was heading home, knowing it's a 25-minute drive to get to your place. My 6-year-old son saw, thankfully, the onions in the sandwich. So what do we do now? Because of your mistake, my son could have ended up in the hospital if he hadn't seen them.

19/07/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An excellent shop on the Grand Place! Ideally located in the heart of Valenciennes, this Nicolas wine shop is a real gem. Although the space isn't huge, the store is impeccably laid out and a real pleasure to browse. You immediately feel at home. The selection is impressive: the whisky section is incredibly comprehensive, and the wine selection is very extensive, perfect for finding the ideal bottle, whether as a gift or a treat for yourself. A very pleasant surprise on the price front as well: I was expecting much higher prices, but they are surprisingly affordable! Finally, a special mention for the service: the staff are incredibly kind, truly attentive to customers, and offer excellent advice without ever being pushy. A neighborhood shop just the way we like them, one that makes you want to return regularly. You can go there with your eyes closed!

Despite this, Stéphan was incredible: very attentive, responsive, kind, and above all, truly dedicated to finding a solution. He did everything he could to ensure I could pick up my order as quickly and smoothly as possible. Thanks to him and his quick thinking, my baby shower wasn't affected at all, and I'm so grateful. 🥰 It's so wonderful to encounter someone who genuinely takes the time to listen, find solutions, and help you, all with kindness and a smile! As an added bonus, we asked for an extra salad, and the service was incredibly attentive to all of us! I really enjoyed the subdued lighting, the tasteful window display, and the enticing aroma—a blend of smoke and spices! And finally, the meat was of exceptional quality and cooked to perfection! 25/09/2026: We discovered this restaurant completely by chance… and we LOVED it! 🤩 From the moment you walk in, you're transported to another world: the atmosphere changes completely, and you feel like you're instantly in Morocco 🇲🇦✨ The waitress welcomed us with such warmth and kindness, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I ordered couscous and my partner had a tagine, and we both loved it! Everything was excellent, from the food to the ambiance. A wonderful discovery and a place I recommend 1000% if you're looking for a quality restaurant! ❤️

06/06/2026: Dining at this restaurant provided us with a bizarre experience. The starters were tasty, but the mussels were very small and quite tasteless. We initially thought the owner was very attentive; he pulled up a small table so we could enjoy the view of the church together during our meal. He did keep pointing out the view to us several times afterwards, and at one point, uninvited, he came and sat at our table with us, even though there were no other guests left in the establishment. His attentiveness turned into intrusiveness. He kept coming to sit at our table. We had the strong impression that he had had too much to drink. Then he even started asking my wife impertinent questions. I then asked him to leave our table and give me the bill. He suddenly became very angry and ordered us to leave the premises. New guests had just arrived, and he was briefly focusing his attention on them. I walked to the bar and asked for the bill again. He suddenly approached me very threateningly and pushed me very hard towards the door. He even continued pushing me outside on the street and grabbed me in a chokehold right in the middle of the street; he is a big man, and I am over 70. My wife shouted very loudly to bystanders to call the police. Then he let go and went back inside his establishment. We were quite shaken, but decided to leave it at that. We didn't pay either, not because we didn't want to, but because he apparently didn't want to. I don't think everyone will receive such treatment, but I really cannot recommend this restaurant.

07/09/2026: I discovered this restaurant recently, so I've only been twice (I'll come as often as possible!!!), but I received a very warm welcome each time! The food is authentic and exceptional! It's a shame more restaurants don't offer this level of value for money! Thank you and see you soon. Goodbye!
