27/03/2026: Very good couscous, but always late, never opens on time. Punctuality is essential in business, and it's clearly a problem for them.

27/01/2026: This was our first visit to this restaurant. At first glance, it doesn't look like much. We didn't find the concept of a "couscous bar," but rather service directly from the pot to the plate. We ordered takeout. The owner was very pleasant and chatted with us while we waited. Verdict: excellent couscous, generously served. We thoroughly enjoyed it! We will gladly return.

10/05/2026: I was very disappointed by the service in this shop. The products live up to their reputation, however, the saleswoman was regrettably cold (like she was from the North Pole), the complete opposite of the warm welcome you find everywhere else in Lille. It's a shame...

10/05/2026: Méert could genuinely be my favourite dessert place in the world. I still can’t forget the taste of their famous waffles, delicate and lightly crisp on the outside, yet soft and buttery in the centre, with a rich vanilla filling that melts beautifully with every bite. They somehow feel both elegant and comforting at the same time. I loved them so much that I even ordered delivery while living in London. That alone probably says everything.

06/06/2026: Excellent! A great place to have a good time. We practically had the restaurant to ourselves for the evening (it's normally closed), but Ludo opens for groups (minimum 10 people)... A huge thank you to Sonia, 51-star service..... both of them have such big hearts.

23/05/2026: I went there twice. For tobacco, "Hey Biloute" lighters 🤣, and I took the opportunity to enjoy a beer on the terrace. I received a wonderful welcome from the owner. He was the only person I spoke to. This gentleman is exceptionally kind, always smiling, and extremely polite. The establishment is clean, including the restrooms. The terrace is covered and very pleasant. Surprisingly, although the establishment is located at the roundabout on Place Jeanne d'Arc, you aren't bothered by the traffic, which is quite reasonable. I will definitely go back. I sincerely thank this gentleman, who has a true sense of business and the utmost respect for his customers. Don't hesitate to go there; you will be truly satisfied. 25/05/2026: I came for dinner today to celebrate my 45th birthday. First time and it won't be the last. Quick and efficient service, little to no wait. Excellent fries and my Maroilles cheese burger was delicious. Great outdoor area.

30/04/2026: The charming boulevard was perfect for a first visit and a wonderful experience. The setting is sublime, with a magnificent terrace, a beautiful dining room, and a lovely veranda. The tables are well-spaced, creating a convivial atmosphere. The welcome is warm, with professional, attentive, and helpful staff. The timing between courses is excellent, allowing diners to fully appreciate each dish. The cuisine is generous, featuring fresh, seasonal ingredients. We thoroughly enjoyed everything. The portions are very generous and the dishes are exquisite. The wine list is excellent, with some lovely, carefully selected bottles that are sure to please.

09/06/2026: We've been coming here for several years, about twice a year for our respective birthdays. Tonight, we were very disappointed and probably won't be back. A tall, young, very curt waiter greeted us, didn't even bother to look at us when we arrived, and pointed us to our table with a nod of his chin—the worst one in the restaurant, right next to the entrance. After a few minutes of being ignored, I got up and asked to change tables (the restaurant was two-thirds empty) to a more comfortable one. Another waiter flatly refused. Furthermore, this is the fourth time the restaurant hasn't received its calf's liver delivery, even though it's my favorite thing to order for my birthday at André. Why keep it on the menu at that time? In short, and this is only the third time in 35 years of going to restaurants, we got up and left, disgusted. Where have the warm welcome of the old waiters in livery and the convivial atmosphere of the Brasserie André of yesteryear gone? So sad...

21/05/2026: The waffles are good… however, what shocks me is the waitress who takes the bills and coins and then immediately grabs dumplings without even washing her hands!!! Is that hygienic?!!! And the waitresses are far from friendly and smiling….

24/02/2026: Fantastic atmosphere! The food is great, the vibe is lovely, and the warmth is palpable, both in person and in the atmosphere itself! Louis is a top-notch bartender and waiter, not to mention the owner, Michel! He always has a funny little anecdote to share when the bill arrives. The chefs in the kitchen are inspired, meticulous, and professional, all with a menu that changes seasonally and features the freshest ingredients! I highly recommend it. It really brings life to this charming neighborhood in Annappes.

01/07/2026: First and last time at this restaurant. We arrived at 12:20 PM as a group of six and quickly realized the service was subpar. We had to wait 15 minutes before a server deigned to take our order. No smiles, no welcome, a completely indifferent attitude towards the customers. I ordered a mocktail which was served lukewarm, even though it was 38 degrees Celsius outside. For a restaurant that claims to be "upscale," the lack of air conditioning is incomprehensible: a pathetic fan circulated hot air, making the meal extremely uncomfortable. The disorganization was further confirmed when customers who arrived after us were served before our table. The razor clam appetizer was a real disappointment: a rubbery texture and burnt garlic that gave it a bitter taste, far from what one expects from a seafood dish. For the main courses, only two plates were brought, then the waiter left, leaving the other four people waiting another 25 minutes. Serving an entire table at once is basic restaurant etiquette. I ordered fish and chips. After a 40-minute wait, the dish arrived tasteless, with fries that had an aftertaste clearly indicating the oil wasn't fresh. In short, a very disappointing experience from start to finish: unpleasant service, nonexistent organization, and woefully inadequate food quality. A restaurant that absolutely does not live up to the image it tries to project. We will never return.
