31/05/2026: Stale tobacco smell in the restaurant. It's a real shame, the place could be idyllic, well located with a children's play area, pool table, and foosball, and yet... The waiters seemed overwhelmed, barely glancing at the customers. They remained cordial nonetheless, and we waited an hour to be served – a kitchen nightmare! The meal was good nonetheless, but an hour's wait is far too long for a meal, especially with several omissions and mistakes by the waiter. The fries and salad ended up as mush.

31/05/2026: We came as a group of four for Mother's Day, our first time there, having read the reviews. We decided to ignore them, but as soon as we arrived, there were three people working at the bar and the waiter running around like crazy. The three bartenders didn't even lift a finger to help their colleague at the front of house. A huge crowd was waiting behind us, but it didn't occur to them to help. So, we knew right then and there, this was going to be a disaster... The waiter, clearly exhausted, showed us to our table. A beautiful round table overlooking the entire restaurant... A LOT of waiting. We looked around and saw many others also waiting for their drinks or main courses. Anyway... We ordered a bottle of champagne and a charcuterie board. Yeah, €16 for two slices of ham, two slices of mortadella, six thin slices of cheese, and three gherkins. The lamb shank was okay... 3 burgers... The waiter arrived and put down our plates without even checking if we'd received what we ordered, or if we'd been cooked properly, anyway... And the icing on the cake... Dessert: a Dame Blanche (ice cream), a crème brûlée, a scoop of vanilla ice cream with whipped cream, a gourmet coffee, and two coffees... So we received the dessert from the next table, a chocolate mousse instead of a Dame Blanche. Before ordering, I asked what was in the gourmet coffee: an apple tart, a macaron, and a crème brûlée. Okay, I got a pineapple tart, a crème brûlée, and a macaron. I sent the dessert back because I don't like pineapple. The waiter told me, "Well, that's because they were out, they gave you what was left..." We didn't say anything about the service, but judging by the waiter's look, I understood perfectly well that I wouldn't have any other dessert choices. In short, 15 minutes later, still no scoop of vanilla ice cream... We asked at the bar for our ice cream, and the waiter told us, "Well, they're out..." So we waited 20 minutes for a dessert they didn't have and offered us nothing in return. Okay, forget about the coffee, and forget about the restaurant too. You won't see us again, especially since three adults and one child just wasted €200. Too bad for you...

07/06/2026: Nothing was good, not the bread, not the fries, not the meat. Sorry for the review. I was misled by the other reviews which were rather positive... I don't understand.

02/05/2026: First time at this chip shop, and judging by the reviews, it's no surprise that the quality/price ratio is excellent and the portions are generous! The homemade dessert was a pleasant surprise – the chocolate mousse was superb.

26/05/2026: If you're looking for a charming spot to enjoy a pleasant meal after a stroll along the coast, L'Escadre is a worthwhile option. The first thing that will captivate you upon entering is undoubtedly its spectacular decor. The ambiance is meticulously curated, creating a welcoming and visually striking space. Adding to this is a major advantage: it's very close to the beach, making it the ideal place to recharge after a day in the sun or a walk on the sand. The restaurant's menu is straightforward, focusing on simple yet effective dishes. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked; it's clear they have a knack for the kitchen and respect the ingredients. On a purely subjective note, the sauces that accompanied the dishes weren't entirely to my liking, but I understand that this is simply a matter of personal taste and doesn't detract from the quality of the dishes themselves. Another very positive aspect worth highlighting is its affordable price. Finding a place just steps from the beach, with such a beautiful setting and well-prepared food that doesn't break the bank, is always a pleasant surprise. In short, a highly recommended experience. L'Escadre combines a lovely atmosphere, an unbeatable location, and honest food at a good price.
