19/05/2026: Excellent hotel in a great location. I live here and come often; I feel right at home, warmly welcomed and comfortable.

17/05/2026: A small, basic hotel, not too expensive, with parking. The rooms could use some updating, but they are clean and the beds are comfortable. The breakfast is comprehensive. The staff is welcoming. Perfectly adequate for a short stay.

22/07/2026: A warm welcome awaits you at this traditional brasserie. We dined on the terrace, enjoying friendly and efficient service. We sampled the mussels marinière and the cod, both well-prepared and generously portioned. The only slight drawback was the particularly salty mussel broth. But overall, a positive experience!

14/07/2026: One-hour wait before being served. The salmon was dry and very pale, with little flavor. It was either overcooked or of poor quality. Disappointed, I won't be going back.

31/07/2026: Very disappointed today at this place, which is usually a pleasure to visit. Unfortunately, the establishment wants to accommodate too many people, and this isn't keeping up in the kitchen despite their efforts... or perhaps they need to hire more staff to avoid customer dissatisfaction, which will ultimately harm them (message to management). They have excellent employees, especially a very professional and attentive young man who was very helpful despite the wait. Thank you again to him for his kindness, as I think he must have been subjected to some criticism even though he was doing his best. I imagine the others were too, but he was the one who took care of us... be careful not to be too hard on them, because that's how some establishments go astray.

31/07/2026: A particularly pleasant setting, surrounded by nature, ideal for a convivial time. The dishes are delicious and very well prepared. Special mention for the excellent service, both attentive and warm. We had a wonderful time. Thank you to Roberto for his warm welcome and great professionalism.

17/07/2026: Look for other waiters besides Virginie, who was very friendly, and the lukewarm, unappetizing food.

02/08/2026: We were supposed to eat there for lunch today, we booked for four, but they didn't even seat us. They told us the table was outside on the left. They never came to take our orders, not even for drinks. Two or three other people arrived after us, including a couple who had just sat down. We go out a lot and do a lot of testing; this has never happened to us before. We are a nice family. The only thing that might have been off-putting was perhaps the color of my husband's skin. We left. I prefer to spend my money elsewhere.

22/06/2026: Booked a week in advance, we were seated inside in 35°C heat with my parents, aged 84 and 89... No window, no fan. We waited 30 minutes before a server came to take our drink order. We ordered three salads... 25 minutes later, the dishes didn't match the order... The value for money was disappointing. To apologize for the wait, they offered us a bottle of water... Very disappointed. I knew the establishment before the change of ownership, and it was really very good... it has changed drastically... I do not recommend it.

12/07/2026: Went on with my partner, recommended many times by locals. Overrrated. Prices are french-like expensive, but at a way poorer quality. We orderer bolognaise and tartufo, and honestly, the dishes would not be very difficult to match if made at home. After the first taste I was flabberggasted. It was difficult to end honestly, eithout any taste or whatsoever. In addition, the staff was poor regarding attention. Had to wait many times ti get their attention, even forgot my oartner,s drink. The only part to spare was the ambience of the place, nice meal on the terrasse, with kind people around. Very good decorations inside as well.

28/06/2026: We came for dinner as a family this weekend with our 3-year-old son. Everything was going well until he pulled a piece of metal, about 3 cm long, from his mouth. It was clearly from a metal sponge and had been mixed into his children's menu pasta carbonara. Luckily, he didn't swallow it and had the presence of mind to show it to us. We immediately informed the staff, who apologized and replaced the dish. Despite this, the incident completely ruined our appetites. We were unable to finish our meal, as our confidence in the food served had vanished. The most disappointing aspect was that no compensation was offered: we paid the full bill despite this particularly serious and unpleasant situation. Mistakes can happen, but when they involve a child's safety, we believe a minimum level of consideration for customers is essential. We left with a very negative impression of this experience.

04/07/2026: Excellent experience yesterday at lunchtime. The staff were warm and attentive. The meal was delicious (homemade lasagna). Thank you for arranging the gourmet coffee to go! 😁

20/07/2026: A lovely setting, a nice and varied menu, and a very good meal (except for the waffles for dessert, which were frozen!). However, the service was disappointing and disastrous, very unwelcoming. For champagne costing almost 80 euros a bottle, there was no ice bucket! The wine was served like fruit juice, there was no bread, and no one came to check if everything was alright!

11/07/2026: The food is good and the dishes are tasty, which is a real plus. However, the service is far too slow. We waited a long time throughout the meal. I also asked for mustard twice to accompany my dish. Unfortunately, I only received it when I had almost finished my fries. It's a shame, because this kind of detail detracts from the overall experience. Another disappointing point: I asked the waitress what the crunchy ingredient in the salad was, as it wasn't listed in the dish's ingredients. Her response was, "I don't know, but it's edible." I found this response unprofessional. When a customer asks about the ingredients in a dish, it's normal to be able to answer them or, failing that, to check with the kitchen. With more responsive and attentive service, this restaurant could offer a much better experience.

31/05/2026: Fun events despite the limited space in the basement. However, I don't go there anymore because of a bad experience; some customers at Chouga decided to fight. Update: It was a while ago at the Rugrats event. A dark-skinned man with dark glasses and a Hawaiian shirt—I think he was a regular—was there. At the end of the evening, he was throwing alcohol at passing cars, and he also threw some at my friends, so yes, this fight did happen. One of my friends said she had already seen this guy at Chouga and that he often did this to start a fight.

27/07/2026: Tours organized prematurely: we should wait until the building construction is finished. For now, the tour consists of a very (too) technical explanation of genever production. A good dusting of the premises wouldn't hurt either. To be reviewed when everything is completed. Xavier Lepoutre

16/06/2026: We arrived after a stroll along the canal, and it was a delightful discovery. The old factory still has its machinery on display, and inside they have a small shop selling products they make on-site. I bought some gin-infused beer, which was a different but very special beer experience. Highly recommended.
