25/11/2025: A well-deserved 5 stars. From the amuse-bouche to the dessert, everything was perfect. The ingredients were very fresh, local, and chosen according to what's available at the market. Not to mention the very friendly welcome and impeccable service. Excellent value for money. You absolutely must go.

02/11/2025: An unforgettable evening I booked this dinner for my son's 20th birthday, as he appreciates fine dining. We opted for the five-course menu and enjoyed everything from the amuse-bouche to dessert. The dishes were delicious, the ingredients high-quality, and the combinations original yet subtle. They catered to everyone's tastes. The wine pairing was an excellent choice. The wines complemented the dishes perfectly. The service was impeccable: professional, friendly, responsive, and attentive. A delightful surprise awaited us at dessert: a candle and a complimentary glass of champagne for each guest. A dinner worthy of a top chef who deserves a Michelin star. Thank you again for this wonderful evening.

01/11/2025: A delightful surprise! We discovered this restaurant during a family meal and were charmed! Upon arrival, you're welcomed into this beautifully renovated house. The small dining room is bright and spotless, with a clean, modern design that overlooks the well-maintained garden. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, and the food is delicious! Everything is homemade using vegetables from their own garden. A must-try!

25/10/2025: This restaurant hosted our wedding a few years ago and everything was perfect, which helped make our day wonderful. Since then, it has become a must-visit when we want to enjoy excellent, refined cuisine in a pleasant setting and with professional and very competent staff who offer delicious and original dishes. We love it.

14/12/2024: Decent cuisine and a good welcome Waiting for service too long, compared to others who arrived after us and were served before Presentation of the dishes lacks elegance and research even if we know that it is an estaminet. In response to the owner: Sir indeed we had an aperitif and we were asked when the dish could be served, to which we replied 15 minutes, it arrived 40 minutes later... knowing that in between we repeated our request to the waitress . We also know very well that first come is not necessarily first served. And no it was not a gratin but a carbonade... This explaining this, our comment is therefore not in vain here, and the opinions serve to give an observation of the feelings and not a criticism, otherwise what use would they be? Further response to the owner Sir, thank you for your feedback, indeed we could have reported it directly instead of on this notice...we were just asked if we wanted a coffee so it was a bit tricky to say it, plus it is true that there was of the world and everything was going quickly for those who were serving at that time, so we preferred to settle and leave.

The dishes to share (or not) are fresh and tasty, the welcome is top-notch, the little gift for my partner's birthday was very much appreciated, and the cocktails... wow!!! Very generous, original, so good... We'll definitely be back!

10/12/2024: Bar : Great bar! A long choice of craft beers, each as good as the other. You can order directly from your table with a QR code. There is happy hour Monday through Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The bar is large with a ground floor, 2 floors, a terrace on the ground floor and a roof top. The roof top is much nicer than that of the Nū located 2 steps from here, it is large, with a beautiful view of the park. One of the best bars in Lille according to my criteria. Restaurant : We had the opportunity to test their estaminet located on the ground floor. Good surprise too. The food was local and very good. Desserts too. We will definitely come back. Very good quality price. The big advantage of Hein is that it is located a stone's throw from Lille Flandres station, and that it is large enough to never feel crowded. Warm and friendly atmosphere.

21/01/2026: The best pizzas in Bailleul, without a doubt! The wood-fired oven makes all the difference, and the pizzas are varied and generous. And a special mention for the staff, who are always very friendly, even during the busiest times!

This place doesn’t just serve Italian food—it serves Sicilian soul on a plate. One bite and you’re practically on a sun-drenched piazza in Palermo, dodging Vespas and wondering how you ever lived without caponata. Eat in or take it to go—either way, it’s like your taste buds just got upgraded to business class. The dishes are so authentic, you half expect someone’s nonna to come out of the kitchen and scold you for not finishing your plate. And the ingredients? Fresher than your cousin’s new haircut before a wedding. Every tomato, every olive, every drizzle of olive oil is basically a love letter from the Mediterranean.

04/12/2025: Went for lunch after a training session at the business incubator. Excellent, generous portions. I ordered rare steak and got it, which is rare in some restaurants. 04/04/2025: Great! Without doubt the best falafel in Lille. Always fresh products, decorated with parsley and fresh coriander. The ladies work in the kitchen, you can tell. I recommend. Don't take into account the pseudo reviews that say it comes out of plastic bags, they didn't taste it! Some advice/proposals for the manager: clean reception, it's often a mess near the checkout. Lighten the serving mat and reduce the number of trinkets. Removing the curtains on the window looks negligent. Personally, I would have put the kitchen at the back, and the bathroom near the bay window. That must put off a lot of customers. Move the bench to the entrance to save space. Remove planters without plants near the checkout. keep it up cooking, we love it!

16/03/2025: I don't understand the negative comments, you can't have a firm judgment on an experience. Personally it was extraordinary: fresh, tasty, warm, the visual of the plates is as good as the top-notch taste flavors. You really have to go there, we will go back with our eyes closed!!!!
