Les quantités ont largement diminué et quand on l'exprime entre convive de la même, on a la réaction du patron plus qu'agressive

J’y vais avec beaucoup de plaisir à chaque déplacement sur Lille.
Seul bémol, je dîne seule et j’ai toujours la petite table derrière le comptoir. Parfois, une table vers la baie vitrée serait plus agréable.
03/12/2024: Pas de réservation et restaurant plutôt plein, accueil agréable et disponibilité parfaite, attente très correcte, cocktails délicieux, peut être petit manque niveau carte des vins mais ca va quand même, plats excellents, variés, délicats, rapport qualité prix parfait, présentation très soignée et travaillée. Ambiance cosie, calme, classe.

30/07/2024: I'm 1 hour away, not much, pedal boat, aquabranch, swimming pool, aquarium, snacks. Mountain bike, scooter but buy tickets before, you pay by ticket and it's expensive

Bonnes frites et c’est capital pour un estaminet, carte restreinte qui se renouvelle peu mais vous êtes assuré d’y trouver les classiques. Mi-cuit de thon testé un vendredi soir : délicieux !

Very disappointed with the service. On several occasions we had the feeling that we had to hurry to give up our table to other customers.
The mint tea should have been a friendly and warm moment but the teapot left with the waitress and the tea was bland in a glass that was much too small. We had to ask for one more drink. Of course we got it but...
Too bad because the dishes were really hearty and really delicious.

The cuisine is homemade, the sauces, fries etc.
I also had a flank steak with homemade garlic sauce. And a homemade maroilles sauce on the side as well
This is the first time I've eaten my entire plate!

10/08/2024: Hello, I came to have lunch with you in 2022, because I haven't lived in the North for a long time. I am in Antibes and I took advantage of my visit to the family to come and have lunch with my friend, his wife and my other half. I asked my friend if he knew a good restaurant in Valenciennes and he took me to YOU. I have fond memories of it and can't wait to come back and enjoy your dishes. I don't know if you are the same owners, but I don't forget that you offered me the digestives (Pear) and that made me happy, it's so rare now.
I also learned that you had suffered a fire. I hope everything is back to normal for you.
I tell you and hope to see you soon.

09/09/2024: I ate mussels and fries, I would have preferred to have my maroilles sauce on top of the mussels or on the side. But it was good and the staff were friendly, plus the price was very reasonable. I recommend!
08/09/2024: It's a restaurant that I discovered yesterday, but my godson knew. The staff were very pleasant, they put absolutely no pressure on us to order while my niece who was bringing her mother for a birthday surprise took 45 minutes to arrive. I had a trio of Welsh goat's cheese, cheddar and maroilles. And for dessert the gourmet coffee which consisted of a slice of hot brioche, a scoop of lemon ice cream, on the other hand the fruit flan was much less appealing to me.
I should have taken photos to publish them for you but I didn't think of it, it's a shame I'm not yet sufficiently used to it.
