30/06/2026: An excellent bar with a great atmosphere, especially during Fête de la Musique (Music Day). The staff is welcoming, the drinks are top-notch, and the ambiance makes you want to stay all evening. I experienced a rather special moment there: it's where I first met the woman who would become the love of my life. At the time, it was just a chance encounter, without imagining that our paths would eventually cross again a few years later. It just goes to show, you never know what a simple evening can bring. Thank you for the wonderful memories; I'll definitely be back!

25/04/2026: The welcome, the food, the friendliness of the staff, and the generous portions are all exceptional. Personally, I've rarely eaten such a tender Welsh rarebit. All the flavors are there: cheddar, beer, ham, mustard. The homemade fries are a delight and incredibly easy to digest. Madame's hanger steak with shallots is a pure marvel, and the shallot confit isn't just for show. I finished with a Cuba/coffret... Unlike many other establishments, here, it's the coffee you're really looking for, given the strong rum flavor. Despite a recent change of ownership, I'm happy that the continuity that makes the establishment so special has remained intact. This is a place, a true gem of a restaurant, to remember and share with friends and epicureans who love good (light 😂😂) Flemish cuisine.

29/03/2026: We came to the area to buy furniture. After a three-hour drive, we needed a place to eat. The salesperson recommended this place. We highly recommend it; the welcome was fantastic, the service impeccable, and the food more than adequate. We couldn't even have dessert because it was so generous. 24/06/2026: In a beautiful natural setting surrounded by Heron Lake, we discovered a small amateur theatre group and had a wonderful time in their company. The only problem is that it's very difficult to get there and very poorly signposted. Furthermore, the GPS sends you down a small dead-end road lined with houses. I think the Villeneuve-Neuve-d'Ascq town hall should review the signage and clearly indicate the route to follow, as there are practically no road signs...

23/06/2026: After your walk around the lake, relax at Quanta. We love their crepes and can't wait to try their waffles! A must-visit spot, surrounded by nature!

30/05/2026: We had a wonderful time at Le Lion Bossu. The food was excellent, the service very friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere cozy. In short, we will definitely return when we are next in the beautiful city of Lille.

27/05/2026: Extremely disappointed with the service. I came with my friends for a birthday, and we were forced to take the €50 set menu for "greater convenience"—I've never seen anything like it! We couldn't even get a carafe of water; the waiter pretended not to understand. The meat was served with knives with rounded tips, making it impossible to cut properly, and my dessert arrived with bits of plastic in it. I had heard nothing but good things about this place, so I'm extremely disappointed.
