06/04/2026: Avoid this restaurant! We tried to be funny out of kindness. We don't know if it was just one employee or the owner, but she was unpleasant and hostile. Go somewhere else if you're not satisfied. I explained that I was just teasing the waitress, but I remained polite. Even the poor waitress was surprised; she didn't say anything more, even seemed shocked by this woman's behavior. She should change professions because she has absolutely no friendliness or politeness.

25/03/2026: No welcome whatsoever. We only had one drink, a 25cl draft beer and a lemonade, and we paid over 10 euros!! There was no music, we were completely alone, the waitress was, I think, drunk, we couldn't understand anything about the beer selection, and to top it all off, she wasn't even bothered by flatulence 🤦🏻‍♀️ Shameful

17/02/2026: We went as a group of six. Once seated, I started to panic after reading the negative reviews, but we had already ordered, so only our personal opinion mattered! Well, what a pleasant surprise when the dishes arrived! All that was left was to taste them, and honestly, 10/10, nothing to complain about. Our table of friends, who also hadn't been before, loved it. The owner was a bit reserved at first, it's true, but given the criticisms I'd seen, that didn't surprise me. He must have been a bit aloof. But after exchanging a few words, he was pleasant to talk to, even though, like with other restaurants, we don't come for the owner but for the food! We still don't understand your negative reviews of this place, unless you have some personal gain from creating a bad reputation. Well, no, we stand by our opinion 200% and have no interest in praising it. So, here's a glimpse of our delicious dishes. 👍👍👍

05/04/2026: I ate at a fast-food restaurant with three friends. It was good, but considering the price, I found it expensive for the amount I ate and the price. I felt there was no balance.

09/05/2026: You can eat well here, lots of choices, the employees are very friendly, but it's the clientele that disgusts me: children running everywhere, people are very dirty, the toilets too, it could be better, but I think the employees do their best to keep everything clean.

08/05/2026: The food was cold. So you have to heat it up yourself in the microwave.

16/04/2026: I had a Happy Meal for lunch today, and imagine my surprise to discover new extra taxes (not including sugar): +50 cents for a cheeseburger (yes, it has a slice of cheese!) +50 cents for potatoes (yes, they're not fries // and to top it off, they put fries on the wrong order!) +50 cents for the pineapple portion (yes, it's fresh, but apples are fine, they're not taxed). In short, while France is strangling us in every way, even small pleasures are being discreetly taxed with unjustified charges. I feel robbed! Goodbye McDonald's, hello competition!

13/04/2026: I feel compelled to defend the McDonald's employees. I was waiting at the same time as Mr. Ethan (I can't be bothered to write his name, it's too long). I found him rather ungrateful towards the servers who were working so hard to serve him despite their small number and the considerable crowd at the drive-thru. I agree that there was a wait, but wasn't the taste of the burgers, and surely his nuggets too, worth it? If there were more customers with friendliness and patience, I'm sure the servers would be more cheerful. Hiding behind a Google review riddled with spelling and grammar mistakes is easy enough. Going to the servers and apologizing for one's ingratitude is much harder, however. A little less cowardice would be welcome, my dear Ethan. Hats off to the employees for tonight; it couldn't have been easy managing all those people without any help from a manager at 10 p.m.

21/03/2026: We arrived at 9pm and couldn't get a single fry. A shame, and therefore not recommended.

17/03/2026: Chef's burgers? I ordered a rare steak, but it was well-done. Ketchup? In a burger? A small cheese, smaller than the kind used for croque monsieur sandwiches. €6.80 with fries that were neither good nor bad at €3.80, and two sauces for €2. €12.60 for that!!! I'm from the Valenciennes area, and this is in the top 3 worst chip shops I've ever eaten at, especially in small towns where you're looking for good, old-fashioned chip shops. In short, avoid it.

12/12/2025: My first experience a few years ago was wow, but the last two times have left much to be desired, and today was the worst: the chocolate croissant was even colder than the outside temperature at 7 a.m.... At €2.30 a croissant, it should at least be "fresh".

09/12/2025: Fascinating place, they gave me soy milk when I ordered oat milk, the cappuccino was COLD somehow and I paid 6 euros for it.

03/04/2026: Went there with friends. It's very delicious and not too expensive. Maybe too noisy and too much meat in the kebab but it was good.

19/02/2026: I was stunned by the level of hygiene! Everything was filthy. The man was touching everything with his fingers without washing his hands and continued to touch the food. The health inspector absolutely must come and visit this place! And the tacos weren't good either.

26/04/2026: Terrible service. Avoid at all costs. Extremely long wait for a "fast" food place! Products are increasingly expensive for increasingly poor quality and significantly reduced quantities! The Big Mac is nothing like the original one! In taste, in quantity... The other products also bear no resemblance to the photos displayed; it's false advertising and a blatant disregard for the customer! What a disappointment, frankly this chain is no longer worth it!

05/03/2026: A real nuisance for the whole neighborhood; groups of unemployed people loiter in front of the entrance, doing nothing but shouting and playing music. A constant disturbance, day and night. The owners or the town hall need to take action quickly.

25/12/2025: Not accessible to people with reduced mobility, which is unacceptable in 2025, and all the more regrettable because people could consume the product. A doorbell is provided, but it's often useless since the staff pretend not to see you, probably too lazy to go outside when the place is full; the customers serve you. Some customers even cut in front of you despite you announcing your presence. The smell of cannabis is unbearable when you walk past.

12/02/2026: Absolutely terrible! No friendliness whatsoever, neither in the food nor the atmosphere. I ordered a hamburger, and honestly, it was pathetic. The patty was like shoe leather, the bun was completely dry and hard, and there wasn't even any sauce. Zero effort in the kitchen to make anything enjoyable. In short, I definitely do not recommend this chip shop.

30/11/2025: Shameful! I just ordered two large fries that were actually one large fries and a Maroilles cheese burger for over €8: the patty is burnt and as thin as a sheet, the bun is tiny and, what's more, still frozen, and to top it all off, I'm still looking for the Maroilles cheese!! My opinion of this chip shop wasn't exactly stellar to begin with, but this is the last straw! I'll never set foot in there again!
