21/07/2026: We had a very bad experience at this brasserie. We were asked to leave our table because we only ordered a glass of water. When we asked to order more, we were refused without any valid explanation. This treatment deeply shocked us, especially since we felt we were treated differently because of the presence of a Black person and a woman wearing a hijab in our group. We cannot definitively say what the staff's intentions were, but this situation left us with a strong sense of injustice and discrimination. We simply expected to be welcomed with respect, like any other customer. Unfortunately, that was not the experience we had at this establishment.

20/06/2026: I've been to this bakery several times. Despite the often dirty restrooms, the numerous fruit flies while eating, and what I find disappointing value for money, I kept going back mainly because it was the only bakery in Lille I knew with a space large enough to sit down and work. I should clarify that it's not the price that bothers me: I regularly frequent establishments where the prices are equivalent, or even higher, but where the service is impeccable and the quality of the products fully justifies the price. The impression is that everything is done to cut costs as much as possible, at the expense of service quality and customer comfort. Yesterday, a young woman with light, wavy hair spoke to me in a particularly aggressive and unpleasant manner. At first, I was shocked by the way she spoke to me. After a few seconds, I realized it was the same employee who had spoken to me very inappropriately several months earlier. This time, I decided not to let the situation go and asked her why she was speaking to me that way. Instead of answering, she became even more aggressive. I simply pointed out that the situation was going way too far and that there was clearly a problem with how she spoke to customers. The tone escalated, and she ended up insulting me. Unbelievable. It was impossible to speak to a manager. I do, however, thank Melissa (short, with dark hair), who tried to calm things down and completely understood the problem. She explained that she and the other employee were tired and in the middle of exams. I don't consider that a valid excuse, especially since it was the second time. Many students and young people in France, myself included, work year-round while pursuing their studies, often experiencing fatigue and stress, yet they do not gratuitously disrespect those they serve. Never again.

20/06/2026: First experience eating lunch there. Very good value for money for the sandwich, drink, and dessert deal.

23/05/2026: Always delighted Edit 7 years later…: very disappointed, I won't be going back. It's not right to have made me pay for a mistake on your part. So you prefer to pocket the money rather than satisfy a customer… I mentioned it twice, and at first I was ignored, then I was apologized for. It's a shame.

22/05/2026: An excellent Italian restaurant, everything is delicious. For your first meal, I would recommend three things: an Italian Spritz, the tagliatelle Alfredo, and a Limoncello Tiramisu (for those with a sweet tooth). We are regulars and are never disappointed. Another plus for the neighborhood: the restaurant is open on Saturday at lunchtime. On sunny days, a small terrace away from the hustle and bustle of the city center makes for a great start to the weekend 😊. Cheers 🍸 and bon appétit 😋.

24/07/2026: Hello, I placed my order around 12:20 AM this Thursday, July 23rd. I know it's closing time, but I'd rather be told that the product is out of stock than be served an order with more than half of it poorly prepared and recipes not followed, especially considering the current prices. A harissa wrap with just chicken and sauce, a cheeseburger without onions or pickles, and to top it all off, only half a slice of cheddar cheese, not to mention the steaks which were way overcooked, lukewarm, and dry… A serious lack of professionalism and respect on the part of your employees. Sincerely.

16/07/2026: Thank you to Auréliane and Kylian for the warm welcome. They were pleasant, smiling, and helpful. They managed to make me forget, for a moment, the shock of the awful hotel room. I was very disappointed; it was a nightmare—old, dirty, without air conditioning, and noisy… I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The dishes were beautifully presented.

14/06/2026: We had a wonderful family evening celebrating a graduation. The setting is exceptional, with a warm atmosphere and a fantastic pianist. The welcome was excellent, with high-quality, refined service. The menu was limited in number, but the dishes were all excellent! The wine list offered something for every budget, which isn't always the case. We had a very enjoyable evening and highly recommend it.

10/07/2026: It's always a real pleasure to eat a good pizza at "Luizi's." The pizza dough is excellent and soft—a real treat! Friendly service. I highly recommend it.

05/07/2026: Nothing's going right tonight. The pizza of the moment has mint, we wonder why 🤔 The Reine pizza has no mushrooms because it was delivered by Bambino. And the chicken pizza was delivered with sausages and potatoes... You call, they blame you... Mistakes happen, but admit your mistake. More and more disappointing...

13/08/2026: I was here on August 13, 2026. The food is nice, but I won't dwell on that. It's 4 PM, so I understand there's not much work, but at 4:29 PM, an employee had nothing better to do than chase away children who were sitting in front of the establishment (not in front of the steps, they weren't bothering anyone). And this woman had nothing better to do than pour disgusting water where the children were sitting to stop them, laughing all the while. All this so that, in the end, the front of the establishment, including the steps, is filthy (including the smell) and slippery because it's soaked, and I'm not even mentioning the inside, which has become just as disgusting because of the footprints left by this employee. Pathetic. If this is all you have to do when there's no work, frankly, your standards are pretty low. Leave them alone. Talk amongst your colleagues, maybe, but you have better things to do!

11/08/2026: I often come here with my boyfriend for dinner, and we always have a great time thanks to the attentive and friendly staff who take our order. There's a wide selection of food to create delicious combinations and treat yourself. The atmosphere is relaxed, perhaps a little cramped for large groups.

17/08/2026: A warm welcome and clean, well-maintained slopes. One person seemed to be managing everything single-handedly on a Sunday evening. Admittedly, it wasn't very busy, but that still meant a bit of a wait at the ticket office or when there was a problem on a slope. Despite that, a very good afternoon.

16/08/2026: It took over 45 minutes for a server to come and take our order, it was getting worse and worse, plus there weren't many people at the bowling lanes.
