17/05/2026: If you have the time, the service is 5 stars! Over 40 minutes wait for a simple burger, and the waitress spoke to us as if we were the ones at fault! I absolutely do not recommend it!

06/04/2026: Avoid this restaurant! We tried to be funny out of kindness. We don't know if it was just one employee or the owner, but she was unpleasant and hostile. Go somewhere else if you're not satisfied. I explained that I was just teasing the waitress, but I remained polite. Even the poor waitress was surprised; she didn't say anything more, even seemed shocked by this woman's behavior. She should change professions because she has absolutely no friendliness or politeness.

25/03/2026: No welcome whatsoever. We only had one drink, a 25cl draft beer and a lemonade, and we paid over 10 euros!! There was no music, we were completely alone, the waitress was, I think, drunk, we couldn't understand anything about the beer selection, and to top it all off, she wasn't even bothered by flatulence 🤦🏻‍♀️ Shameful

03/02/2026: Extremely disappointing, a disastrous experience. Dishes were served after 2 hours and 10 minutes and were of very low quality, with exorbitant prices compared to what was actually on the plate.

01/02/2026: What can I say... the team has changed, and even though the welcome is friendly, the place is completely different. Aux Éphérites was long among the top 10 restaurants in Lille: a great selection of wines, bold and original cuisine... But unfortunately, that was then... There's practically nothing on the menu, the food is bland, and the service is awkward... The owner did offer us drinks, admittedly on his own initiative, but it's not the same at all. We were a bit disappointed because we were used to the previous version, and it's clear that the place is no longer worth the trip.

24/04/2026: Having been used to good pastries, I bought some bread from Gourmandine... and was really disappointed. You want to support small businesses, but it's hard when you find bread that's worse than what you get at Auchan in a bakery 😓 I'm not usually that picky, but I couldn't even finish it.

24/04/2026: I bought a wholemeal loaf this morning. €2.50 for the loaf and the taste was awful. Extremely salty and soggy, no crust... even my son, who loves bread, didn't like it. I could still taste the salt in my mouth afterward. Too bad, I won't be going back.

22/05/2026: Horrible stay…horrible is the word. I have never, ever seen a hotel as noisy as this one. It was impossible to get any proper rest, and the soundproofing was nonexistent. The other guests had absolutely no respect for being so noisy; it was shameful. However, the location is great, with everything nearby, and the room was clean.

07/05/2026: We're in a 3-star hotel?! The rooms have been renovated, but not the toilets, which are covered in limescale. The walls aren't either; you can clearly hear what's going on in the neighboring rooms. The new heating system is very noisy for the rooms located at the entrance to the parking lot. Luckily, the receptionist is helpful. But it's not worth 3 stars.

23/12/2025: Having been coming to this chip shop for many years, it's always just as good! I'm surprised by the 1-star reviews, which I find very harsh. The servers are very accommodating regarding how you like your fries cooked. The portions are incredibly generous, and the prices are very reasonable! I understand that bad experiences can happen, but these 1-star reviews seem really strange. And yes, we know that sometimes it can be busy and therefore there can be a wait (plot twist, it's like that everywhere...). I recommend it!

19/05/2026: We come regularly on Tuesdays, and we're increasingly disappointed. Dishes are missing, the kids' burger is never available, and today (May 19th) there were no children's toys even though they're included in the price. And it's only 12:30 PM... And judging by the reviews, you're going to lose a lot of customers...

Here are the critical issues observed: Deplorable hygiene: The premises are dirty and clearly haven't been maintained for many hours. Lack of supplies: No toilet paper is available, rendering the service unusable. Lack of maintenance: The smell is nauseating, and the equipment appears abandoned. A simple principle: Paid service = Impeccable service The very least that should be done when charging for a basic physiological need is to guarantee impeccable cleanliness and regular maintenance. Paying to find oneself in such filth is an insult to users. It's simply theft. Immediate intervention by the cleaning services is necessary to meet basic hygiene standards. If the hygiene of a public and paid space is neglected to this extent, one doesn't even dare imagine the state of cleanliness of the rest of the establishment, especially areas not visible to customers.
