25/01/2026: We received a very warm welcome at Gilles's place after the Bayonne/Castres match. They went out of their way to find us a table, even though there were 11 of us and everywhere else was full. The entire team gave us a fantastic welcome. The service was quick, the food was all delicious, and we emptied every plate. The desserts were excellent too. We will gladly return. Thank you again. 05/01/2026: Delicious crepes (the coffee wasn't as good). The people were very friendly. I suppose it was because we went during the Christmas season, but out of the four times we tried to go, it was closed three times, even though Google said it was open.

02/12/2025: We loved this place. The decor is beautiful, and if you're lucky, you can get a seat by one of the windows overlooking the Nive River. The staff were fantastic, very friendly, and always smiling. They have a variety of sweet and savory crepes, as well as drinks and desserts. We went for lunch, so we opted for some savory crepes, which were delicious. We wanted to return in the afternoon for some sweet crepes, but it was already closed (French time). I highly recommend it!

20/03/2026: Our experience at Bellini Restaurant was truly wonderful. The attention we received from the very beginning was excellent: friendly, polite and always full of details. The staff really cares about the customer, and this is very evident. As for the food, it was excellent, fresh and very delicious: each dish was prepared with care, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The quality is first-class, offering a real feast for the palate. But the best thing was, without a doubt, the atmosphere we felt: leaving home and feeling at home. A perfect, delicious and pleasant plan to share with family. In short, it was a pure pleasure to meet you at Bellini today. Without a doubt, a place to return to again.

27/02/2026: Hiking from Bidart to St Jean-de-Luz, I was so happy to find this bar open on February 26th, under summer-like weather! A very warm welcome, a fantastic location with a breathtaking sea view, and excellent food (special mention for the red berry panna cotta). I promised to leave a (good) review... and here it is!

22/02/2026: A disappointing experience from start to finish. There were two of us, and we arrived at 1:10 PM. We were told there would be a 20-minute wait; after 40 minutes, I had to remind them we were still there. We were finally seated. Another 25 minutes passed before anyone took our order. The appetizer arrived quickly, but then… more than 40 minutes of waiting without ever seeing the main course. We decided to leave and made our dissatisfaction known while paying for our appetizers and drinks. No apology, no consideration whatsoever, and to top it all off, a member of staff called me an “idiot.” I understand they were busy… but still! Lack of organization, a complete absence of professionalism, and unacceptable behavior from some staff members. Truly disappointed!

28/02/2026: Dinner on February 27, 2026. The menu was very original compared to what you find elsewhere; it was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented and seasoned. The service was quick and efficient. There was also a good selection of wines, which isn't always the case elsewhere. A lovely time spent there; I will return. 04/01/2026: A truly wonderful place for those seeking authentic cuisine. The regional dishes are excellent, and even the simplest ingredients, like a ribeye steak, are elevated by the chef's skillful selection of local produce. The icing on the cake is the spelt bread served at the table from the local baker, adding a nutty note to this delicious meal. The setting is pleasant and must be even more so in the summer with its private courtyard. And the service, you ask? Exceptional kindness, a warm smile, and helpful advice. A restaurant is a complete experience, and this one truly delivers. Go without hesitation!

10/07/2025: I trusted the guide, but what a disappointment! We waited almost 40 minutes after our order, it turned out that it hadn't gone through, but no one cared. We ended up going to inquire: problem with the receipt, it happens. No apologies, and no action when it came to the bill, which turned out to be way too expensive for a kitchen that doesn't break bricks. In short, a completely rotten experience and 140 euros wasted.

22/02/2026: It was a great pleasure to discover La Part des Anges. We received a very warm welcome, including our dog. The menu was generous and of high quality. The garbure (cabbage and bean soup) was excellent. The setting is historic.

21/02/2026: Passing through Oloron, I had the pleasure of having lunch in this "paradise of angels." The waitstaff was very efficient, friendly, and always smiling. Impeccable service. My meal, a royal sauerkraut, was served perfectly. Very generous portion. Served piping hot. A light beer... pure bliss. All the customers were delighted. In any case, thank you to the whole team, and come and discover this restaurant... I, for one, will definitely be back.

21/02/2026: An absolutely perfect experience at Auberge Escude Quillet in Biron! The meal was simply delicious, with flavorful, generous dishes prepared with great care. You can taste the passion and quality of the ingredients in every plate. The welcome was equally remarkable: warm, attentive, and genuine. The owners are delightful, just like their authentic, generous, and heartfelt cuisine. I highly recommend this place; it's a true gem! We will definitely be back.

21/01/2026: A great place for lunch! The service is very fast and the dishes are delicious and well-prepared.

21/02/2026: It looked delicious, so we ordered just before 2 pm. The galettes complet with cider cost €12 as a lunch special. Since I mistakenly ordered it separately along with a beer, I paid the individual prices, which meant I ended up paying more. Even though other guests were eating, my meal wasn't served on a plate but rolled up and wrapped up. To top it all off, it was very bland and had hardly any flavor. What a shame.
