A delicious dish, perfectly seasoned, with a wonderful interplay of textures and flavors. And a delightful dessert, neither too sweet nor cloying. All this at a very reasonable price. I sincerely recommend it.

20/06/2026: Visiting my father, even if it's just for two days, is a chance for me to reconnect with a must-try: Jacob Bakery. It's become a tradition. I can't imagine waking up without my pain au chocolat or pain aux raisins from Jacob. As for the bread, I can't find better anywhere. My go-to loaves are the Orthezienne and the Graine, two breads I always enjoy because their quality and flavor are exceptional. Even on vacation, I get up at 7:30 a.m. to make sure I have the chance to leave with a loaf fresh from the oven, still warm, fresh, and perfectly crusty. And what a pleasure it is to sometimes have to wait a few moments before being served! It gives us time to admire all the delicious treats in the window and to drool over your magnificent pastries. I've been a loyal customer since you opened, and I sincerely hope you'll be here for many years to come. The entire team does a remarkable job, which is reflected in the quality of your products, but also in the pleasure of visiting your establishment. My vacation certainly wouldn't be quite the same without this breakfast that I eagerly anticipate. Thank you to the whole team for your expertise, passion, and dedication.

11/08/2026: During this very busy period in August on the Basque coast, the service is extremely efficient and always very professional. Excellent dishes. When fresh tomatoes are in season, the sauce is plentiful, a little less so in winter... but always simple and tasty. Having booked online, I regret always being seated in the parking lot. Under the palm tree, it's not unpleasant, apart from the enormous, often black, catafalques right in front of you. It would be better to prohibit parking there in the summer and add a bit more greenery. Parking is never a problem... you just have to be patient and, above all, be prepared to walk a little.

11/09/2026: End of the meal (light beforehand...), 2 Basque cakes for 6 people, one with cream and one with cherry. Exceptional quality. However, the cherry one is far too sweet (okay for preservation, but the taste of the black cherry, already not particularly vibrant, is completely lost in the sugar...). The vanilla cream one is divine (although overall still too sweet ;-). The taste and texture of the pastry are sublime in both. Worth it!

09/08/2026: As a regular at this restaurant, I always return with the same pleasure, which, for a little bear who likes to explore… but not too much, is a pretty good sign. The food is excellent, generous, and beautifully presented, and it would be a shame not to also explore the fine selection of perfectly paired wines. For me, it's a sure bet, whether for a meal with friends, family, or for taking colleagues and clients. The location is also very convenient, right opposite a parking lot and slightly removed from the city center, yet close enough to extend your meal with a stroll along the Nive River or a few steps through the cobbled streets of Bayonne. It's a place my paws happily lead me back to. A must-try!
