02/12/2025: We stayed at Chateau de Fontager for 4 days. From start to finish we were greeted by friendly staff who were ready to help with everything. Nice rooms, clean and tidy. Lovely breakfast served in the most beautiful surroundings (the Bistro). We ate at Chant de la Source (the hotel's gourmet restaurant) and WAUW! Absolutely fantastic experience. From the food to the service - thank you for the experience. We will definitely be back!

02/12/2025: An absolutely perfect stay! The castle is magnificent, the room spacious and elegant, and every detail exudes charm and serenity. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, a true delight to start the day. The staff were wonderful from beginning to end: attentive, smiling, and always responsive to our needs. A truly wonderful discovery that I highly recommend. We will definitely return!

11/11/2025: Incredible restaurant! This is our second time here, and this time I was with my mom. We'll definitely be back! The service is excellent, and the manager is incredibly kind, offering us complimentary after-dinner drinks. The dishes are truly delicious with generous portions. The set menu (starter and main or main and dessert) is very filling; we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! And the prices are more than reasonable, with a set menu at €18.

14/10/2025: My husband and I went to eat at this restaurant thanks to a Groupon voucher. We were pleasantly surprised. From the kindness, the welcome, the professionalism, to the quality and diversity of the dishes, we were won over by this restaurant. It should be noted that the menu is very affordable. We highly recommend this restaurant with its warm atmosphere, with music that perfectly complements the Greek theme. The decor transported us. Thank you for the warm welcome; we will be back with great pleasure!

17/11/2025: I would like to share my impressions following two consecutive visits to this establishment. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, the dishes are expertly prepared, and the drinks are of perfectly respectable quality. On my first visit, I sincerely thought the distant attitude of the person in the dining room was simply a fluke, perhaps a difficult day. I never imagined encountering the exact same coldness on my second visit. The person in the dining room, most likely the waitress since she also handles telephone reservations, adopts a disconcertingly rigid demeanor. From the moment I called to reserve a table, as was the case for both lunches, she imposed an abrupt tone, a fixed expression, and a presence that immediately created a palpable tension. This way of dealing with customers weighed down the atmosphere and removed any sense of enjoyment. The prevailing impression is one of a brusque welcome, devoid of elegance and any attentiveness, accompanied by feigned sighs with every request, as if the service were an ordeal. Every interaction creates a genuine sense of unease, as even the smallest request seems to bother her, giving the impression that she would prefer not to have to deal with customers at all. This is a village restaurant that could offer a very pleasant experience if the welcome reflected the quality of the food. The staff's appearance also contributes to the harmony of a meal. Dedicated, neat, and professional attire establishes immediate coherence. Here, everyday clothes reinforce the impression of a poorly structured service. After sharing my second experience, several friends told me they had experienced the same thing and no longer plan to return. This recurring pattern clearly shows that this behavior is not limited to one customer, but is part of a general attitude. I genuinely value the quality of the food; however, a restaurant is first and foremost a place to relax and enjoy oneself. This experience left a negative impression that contradicts this ideal. Therefore, I don't intend to return until the customer service staff are replaced so that the welcome finally reflects the consideration due to diners.

19/02/2026: Excellent food. Pizzas were really delicious.probably the best pizza I’ve ever had before . We were a group of 10. Some of us had the tagliatelle bolognaise they all said it was amazing or very nice 😊 . Nice late night dinner at 8:30 and good service. Would highly recommend and would love to go back another time. Great for fussy eaters and families. 5 star. ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

06/01/2026: A sunny spot by the water... Sun-drenched terrace, warm interior atmosphere... Ideal for a drink. However, during my visit at the end of December 2025 for a light meal, I was disappointed! The food was really poor quality. Avoid it for a meal.

05/02/2026: Fantastic restaurant! We had the set menu, which was delicious and refined. The dining room is beautiful with modern decor, the staff is friendly, and we felt right at home! The only slight drawback was the lack of a designated baby changing area (the space was occupied by flowerpots). We managed between two sinks, but it wasn't very convenient. ;) Otherwise, everything else was great, I highly recommend it!

16/01/2026: Thank you to Chef Fabien Viricel for the outstanding quality of the dishes ordered for the holiday season. The cardoon gratin with bone marrow was a hit with everyone, even the younger guests. As for the foie gras and smoked salmon, several of our guests admitted they had never tasted anything so good 🤗 A real treat 👌.
