27/01/2026: The Hotel & Restaurant La Bergerie in Saint Pierre Lafeuille is definitely worth a visit!! The room was simple, comfortable, and very clean. The restaurant was excellent, and I'll add, very good! Fresh ingredients! And superb cuisine! I loved the scallops so much (3 truly beautiful scallops) that I ordered them two nights in a row 🫣😊 and everything else was exactly the same. Perfect seasoning 👍 and truly excellent value for money! To all my fellow salespeople and business travelers, stop by 10-15 minutes from Cahors and treat yourselves 🥰

16/01/2026: Chosen at the last minute for a business trip because of its location and large, open garden (😉), I wasn't disappointed at all by the warm welcome from the owners. The rooms are spacious with views of the valley. The overnight meal was perfect.

04/05/2026: The chocolates were good, but nothing special, and quite expensive. I had the matcha, which was bland; the matcha flavor wasn't very strong. The passion fruit chocolate wasn't bad, and the praline was good.

07/06/2026: This is the third time I've given them a chance. The meat is bland and tasteless, the fries are soggy and swimming in oil, the menu is excessively expensive for the quality and served without a drink, and the kebab is tiny (excuse my language). This is the third time I've recommended it, hoping they'll improve, but it's still just as disappointing. I recommend Pizza To Go, which serves exceptional kebabs for €6.50 for a meal with a drink. 🙏🙏

06/06/2026: I found a hair in my sandwich. They replaced it, but I didn't receive an apology. The staff wasn't very friendly. I felt like they were looking at us as if we were the ones who had put the hair in the sandwich. Quite awkward. I won't be going back.

10/06/2026: The hotel is very well located. It has a lot of charm, with a balcony overlooking the salt flats. The owner's warm welcome, helpfulness, and kindness are particularly noteworthy.

31/05/2026: Facing the large saltworks, in the city center, and peaceful for rooms facing away from the road. The reception staff are attentive and very friendly.

06/05/2026: Excellent cuisine in the countryside! The seasonal, locally sourced dishes were delicious! The trout tartare with beetroot butter was excellent, the asparagus dishes were very good, and the floating island dessert, while a classic, was very well presented. I highly recommend this restaurant (there's a large fireplace for grilled meats!). The service is impeccable too! PS: The place has excellent acoustics: very quiet, which is lovely!

05/05/2026: We celebrated one of our sons' birthdays with family at Le Prieuré. The dinner was excellent, especially the dry-aged beef ribs cooked over a wood fire, the asparagus risotto, and a divine strawberry cake! Kudos to the chef and his professional and very friendly team!

15/05/2026: I didn't expect to be mistaken for an American by my own colleagues, and yet, 24 euros for two slices of meat is a bit steep for a Portuguese person. It's a shame, because everything else is very good and clean.

02/05/2026: We had lunch as a couple on a Saturday. We ordered Carne porco Alentejana and Morue a Lagagueiro. It was delicious. The Americano as an aperitif was very generous! We will definitely be back. The service is very efficient. Thank you to the team 😊
