07/08/2026: We had dinner for two. Simmental rib-eye steak with peppercorn and/or maître d'hôtel sauce, side vegetables and/or crudités and fries. No complaints about the quality, a pleasant time on the summer terrace with friendly and energetic waitresses. For dessert, I recommend the frozen orange and Grand Marnier soufflé, a surprising and original dessert.

06/08/2026: Superb restaurant! I highly recommend the homemade foie gras, which I absolutely love. The service is impeccable, the cleanliness perfect, the ambiance and decor magical, and the flavors! It's a delight every time I visit.

31/05/2026: Cozy local restaurant, the service was incredibly friendly. We spoke poor French, but together we managed to communicate well. There was air conditioning, a relief with 30 degrees during the heatwave! The food was tasty, only the steak was a bit too burnt and more rare than medium. But perhaps that is also a matter of taste. Other restaurants in this town are a bit disappointing, so we were glad we found this one.

03/04/2026: I was quite cautious when booking the refuge because various reviews had been mixed. But it turns out the owner has changed, and the quality and hospitality are back! We had absolutely no complaints, quite the opposite! Just one thing to keep in mind: it's not a typical "CAF" (French Alpine Club) refuge, but rather a hostel-style refuge. So you pay more, but the quality is also superior (showers, pool table, rooms, etc.).

29/03/2026: We stayed at the Refuge du Roc with a group of 12 plus 2 guides for a star-shaped ski touring trip. The refuge was a perfect base camp! The climb from Pralognan is a good warm-up but quite accessible to all levels of skiers. The refuge is perfectly equipped, notably with a games room (pool table, darts, video projector), a sauna, and a Nordic bath, which make après-ski very enjoyable! The cook was super friendly, the service impeccable, and the meals delicious.

28/09/2026: Had Jack’s Bowl and Açaí bowl and both are just average, friendly service though.

17/09/2026: Nice atmosphere, a little shabby but actually quite cute. Unfortunately, the mayo that came with the nuggets and avocado toast tasted strongly of mustard, and you have to order at the counter, which we didn't realize and nobody told us. It wasn't mentioned anywhere. All in all, okay.

11/05/2026: Discovering this restaurant: excellent calf's head served in a calm atmosphere by a very attentive waitress. And a nice chilled wine. What more could you ask for? I hope the new owner follows the same path. Thank you.

05/04/2026: Beautiful rooms. The spa is also very pleasant. The hotel restaurant is a gem. Delicious dishes, presented with care and delicacy, and the service is very efficient.

04/10/2026: Perfect! A very pleasant surprise! The dishes are delicious and refined. The ingredients are fresh and local. Everything is homemade; you can see it and taste it too! We chose the seafood sauerkraut and the fish of the day with coconut milk and curry. A real treat. For dessert, the chocolate fondant, with its crème anglaise and caramel sauce, was simply divine! To top it all off, the view of the marina. I highly recommend it!

30/09/2026: A nice, pleasant place. Right on the harbor. The food was very good. I had the seafood sauerkraut. A bit too much cabbage for my taste, but otherwise very good. My colleague had mussels, but they were very small and difficult to eat.

20/09/2026: After we arrived in Chamonix, we had lunch there. Lasagne and a Tiramisu to be exact. They were really good. After finishing the TMB we had lunch there again. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. They kindly refilled our water bottles for free as well. The views were also nice. Great place ❤️

13/09/2026: Nice spot for a tasty dinner and beer. We were able to sit down right away around 1800 on a weekday. We chose to sit outside, which provided some fun people watching and energy. We got a burger and salmon salad, I would definitely recommend both! My sister really liked the hard kombucha they carry.

12/07/2026: I ordered a ribeye steak and the meat was spoiled. I pointed it out to the owner, and he told me it was my mouth that was spoiled. I'd like an explanation for the five-minute wait between taking my order and serving my dish! Toni, who claims to be the owner, should really rethink how he speaks to customers; I'm not your friend! But thanks to you, we had a fantastic dinner in a real French restaurant.

10/07/2026: I can sum up this wonderful local neighbourhood Portuguese bistro by referring to the discrete sign behind the bar: E Pluribus Unum. Indeed as an American who moved to France in 1990 I remember this wise maxim from the United States Dollar: We are United in our diversity. And this is exactly why I feel so at home in this bustling vibrant bistro which in fact has become my home away from home. Always packed at lunch time by neighbours and workers from all the diverse communities that makes France such a great place to live. The coffee is the best in the Paris metro area. The food is good although I do not dine frequently there. But in any case it is a joyful place and Tony and his family are wonderful and caring hosts. If you are in the neighbourhood do not miss this festive Portuguese bistro that fully deserves a Top 5 Star rating👍👍👍👍👍👍 just to add that during these hot days profit from their sangria or iced coffee with Bailey’s

22/09/2026: I love Mediterranean food, especially Lebanese, and this place did not disappoint. Although the pita wasn't made there, the ingredients were great. Obviously, it's a famous place. Not too far from the Arc de Triomphe.
