Compared to Ladurée, I found Pierre Hermé’s macarons less sweet and lighter in texture, making them easy to enjoy without feeling overly rich. The quality was so impressive that we ended up purchasing several boxes to bring back home as gifts for friends. Service was friendly and efficient, making the experience smooth despite the popularity of the shop. If you’re looking for premium macarons in Paris, Pierre Hermé absolutely lives up to its reputation. 5/5 – Delicious, elegant macarons that are lighter and more refined than many others I’ve tried. Perfect for both indulging yourself and bringing home as gifts.

27/05/2026: These were the best macarons we had in Paris. They offer many flavors not just the basic ones and they have very interesting combinations of them. My favorite ones were the passion fruit and pistachio & strawberry.

30/05/2026: A superb discovery, this restaurant by the water! The staff is very friendly and attentive to customers. Despite being busy, there was little wait, a sign that the kitchen is running smoothly. I ordered the Nordic platter and wasn't disappointed; it was beautifully presented and the French toast with caramelized apples was delicious.

28/05/2026: This superb restaurant, located along the Orne River, looks fantastic at first glance. Unfortunately, the food leaves much to be desired. 😒 The dishes are beautifully presented, but the taste and quality are frankly lacking. I ordered the mussels "au fil de l'eau" (stream-cooked). They came with three langoustines, three prawns, scallops, and smoked salmon... the scallops were completely raw!! The mussels were poorly cleaned, and let's not even mention the fries, which were disgusting. And it's not just Belgians who are saying this!!

11/12/2025: Three of us girls came here two nights ago for dinner to celebrate a birthday, and what a disappointment! First, we were seated at a tiny round table where it was practically impossible to share a simple appetizer. Then, we were told we had to vacate the table after two hours, even though we had barely finished our meal—without even a chance to take a quiet break after eating non-stop and paying a rather hefty bill. After two bottles of wine, two appetizers to share (a €30 burrata with truffles, but we never saw any truffles), meat, and dessert, we wanted to order another bottle and some champagne to celebrate the birthday… but no, impossible! We were told we could go “to the bar” if we wanted to continue drinking. Frankly ridiculous. The meat, ordered rare, arrived medium-rare. The wine list? Nonexistent! The two bottles we requested were no longer available. And the atmosphere? None whatsoever. The "entertainment" everyone's talking about happens after dinner, when they've already kicked you out. Basically, you book a table for 7:15 pm and by 9 pm, they're showing you the door. Honestly, steer clear. Stop being fooled by these "trendy" places full of wannabe influencers who pretend to be sophisticated while ordering the cheapest salad on the menu and throwing it up three times in the bathroom—I saw it with my own eyes. Ciao, and definitely not see you soon.

12/04/2026: The restaurant wasn't very clean the day we came (there was trash under the lid where you put the bucket on the table, and the toilets smelled strongly). The waiter was friendly and helpful. The food was good.

20/03/2026: Geoffrey and Edem gave us a very warm welcome! We were greeted with great kindness and consideration. The food was delicious and fresh. Throughout the meal, we checked in to see if everything was alright. Overall, a fantastic experience with a fantastic team – we'll be back!

28/05/2026: A little disappointed, as the drinks and tapas we wanted were no longer available. We therefore had to order other things. The food was good, even though it was served well before the drinks. It's a shame because the setting and the servers were pleasant.
