24/07/2026: This restaurant is located in a campsite on the shores of Lake Biscarrosse; it's a great place for a relaxing evening. The staff is very professional and perfectly organized.

18/08/2026: My nephew celebrated his wedding at this venue in early August. Very disappointed 😞 The cocktail reception, initially planned for the main hall, actually took place outside, in full sun with just two small gazebos. We had to insist to get a few chairs. In the reception hall, we were supposed to have air conditioning—a lie! 😠 The service was appalling. Avoid this place at all costs!!

30/09/2026: A touch of the mountains in Bordeaux. I had an excellent meal, even though I was just passing through on a business trip. I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends if we were to return as tourists. The meat was very good, the service was reasonably quick, and the waiter was very friendly. In addition, the table layout creates a wonderfully convivial and welcoming atmosphere. I loved the Chartreuse liqueur as a digestif. A great find!

20/09/2026: I've been going to this pub for 15 years, and everything has always been fine, both with the staff and the managers. I've participated in various events (jam sessions, etc.), and last night, the bouncer refused entry to me and a friend, even though we were dressed appropriately and introduced ourselves politely, claiming that "it's expected to be busy tonight" (we've seen the pub much more crowded). A waiter who knew me even went to the bouncer to reassure him, explaining that we were regulars, but it made no difference. To add insult to injury, we went to a nightclub where we were allowed in without any problem. In short, and I've noticed this for some time now: the security staff at this "pub" have become appalling and arrogant towards customers. In short, you've lost loyal customers, and we won't be the last, given your current policy.

13/07/2026: In my opinion, La Maison D'Hoursetut took advantage of the fact it was our first time to come for the Tour de France stage on the iconic Col du Tourmalet. Short version: They advised us of the wrong time to arrive by car before the road closures, so we couldn't go up the mountain to see the stage there and they wouldn't give us a refund (no cancellations policy). Long version: Months in advance, we confirmed a few times with the hotel via email that our arrival time would be noon (specifically based on their advice), however, the very first police officer we drove up to said the road is closed. This is at 11:30. When I contacted the hotel they said they gave us the info they had at the time and that the gendarmerie moved up the time last minute. I've watched the Tour on TV go thru this route several times over the years and all of it is planned months in advance, so I didn't believe him and my instinct was confirmed the next day when I found an official printed flier from the stage that said the roads close at 10 for the Caravan. Each stage location has its own website with road closure info and for the life of me I couldn't find one for this stage from San Francisco, which is why I asked the hotel - because they should be experts on guests arriving for the Tour. I'm not going to make you re-live the long exchange of emails back and forth between me and the hotel, but I hope anyone who is considering them for the Tour either STAYS AWAY, or else does not count on them for anything. I believe they knew what they were doing with my reservation misdirection and I absolutely believe they kept our money and then sold our room again to one of the thousands of people on the mountain. Unethical.

04/10/2026: I've been buying foie gras from this shop for years, but my last two experiences have been disappointing. The semi-cooked foie gras (plain, without alcohol) I bought at the end of August had a surprisingly acidic taste. The last time I reported the problem, the shop owner replaced it immediately; however, this time I only noticed it after leaving Paris, and the product was therefore wasted.

02/05/2026: I gave two stars for the pizza, which was quite good and well-topped for a reasonable price. The problem stemmed from the young waiter, who was careless and unpleasant. He didn't even greet us or smile; he served and cleared our table as quickly as he could without even looking at us, which was embarrassing. A restaurant where you feel like you're bothering them to this extent—we'll never go back.

24/07/2026: To be factual, here's the chronological order: I arrived with a friend before leaving on a trip. After half an hour, having not received our order (kebab plates), we called for help and were told we'd been forgotten. Then, we were served, with napkins stained with grease. The food was mediocre, and the toilets were filthy. In the following four hours, we both experienced abdominal spasms, even though we hadn't eaten together anywhere else. The next day, my friend had to hold back severe diarrhea for a 14-hour flight, which followed the spasms. Fortunately, we recovered after three days. I then tried to check the restaurant's latest hygiene inspection report on the government website, Alim' Confiance, but unfortunately, I found nothing. In conclusion, the hygiene of this establishment appeared to us to be questionable.

16/09/2026: The staff were very friendly and pleasant; I had a great time. The food was excellent. Don't hesitate to come!

01/09/2026: I'm sharing my experience here because I think it deserves to be known, especially by parents who frequent this establishment with their young children. On August 16, 2026, I went to the Pedra Alta restaurant in Bercy with my 19-month-old child and my sister. The meal was going normally until my son started crying because I had refused him something. At that moment, one of the waiters took my son by the hand and left with him, without asking my permission. I want to be clear: I never authorized this person to take my child or take him anywhere. When I realized my son was no longer with me, I immediately went to look for him. I found him in a staff room with this waiter, who was offering him a lollipop! Imagine the panic of a mother who realizes her 19-month-old child has vanished from sight and is in a separate room with a staff member without her consent. The next day, I found two unusual soft green particles in my son's stool. I didn't think to have them analyzed, so I can't say what they were or establish a link to what happened at the restaurant. But as a mother, this series of events deeply worried me, and I still have questions today. I find it completely unacceptable that a staff member would take a young child to a staff room without a parent's permission. My message is simple: parents, stay vigilant. I'm not sharing this to create controversy, but because parents have the right to know and be alerted when a situation like this occurs. For me, this experience was traumatic because it was the first time this had happened, and especially this kind of behavior from a server.

22/08/2026: We've eaten here several times as a family, both in winter and summer, and we've never been disappointed. The owner is very friendly, the service is always top-notch, and the food is excellent and, above all, very consistent, which is quite rare in a ski resort. A place we highly recommend!

19/05/2026: The hotel wasn't clean, the staff, though somewhat helpful, looked worse for wear. The owner was grumpy and now I am about to engage in a payment dispute as he charged me on top of (crappy) Booking.com. Such a shame as the location is perfect and my room had a nice view of the gorge. This place could be quite special if there was some tender loving care. Really annoyed at the payment shenanigans.

17/05/2026: Fantastic stay at Hotel Le Belvédère, the staff are amazing! The hotel is in a great location, with a lovely view. A real bonus is the quiet, heated pool – very relaxing. Thanks again!
