11/12/2024: Always very satisfied when I order pizza or pasta delivery. I love their spaghetti bolognese and carbonara. Their desserts are very good, especially the pistachio tiramisu. Their products are of excellent quality at a very affordable price. They are very kind, very smiling and friendly. I highly recommend them.

09/08/2024: We were very well received given the late hour (11:30 p.m.). Very good service, nice presentation of the kebabs. The meat was very good (comments from my friends). For my part, I hadn't eaten a kebab for 8 years (since I became vegetarian) and the falafel one, a delight! You can go there, it’s very good 😊

03/11/2024: We stopped at this establishment, ideally located on the edge of the national highway. Beautiful park and beautiful facade of the castle, friendly and helpful staff, speaking for the most part only in English. Room with obsolete decoration, worn-out old furniture, in all clean with comfortable bedding, gloomy lighting, poorly heated (we were cold) no dressing gown, no slippers. The catering is not up to the standard of this establishment, to be avoided, the dining rooms are downright cold with gloomy lighting, 60s joinery, insufficient breakfast. ! I understood that this hotel is a 4 star, for us it does not meet these criteria I do not recommend it and we will not return.

29/10/2024: Hello everyone, Just to let you know that 2 days after the post was published, I was informed by email of the reimbursement of tickets by Weese...!!🙂 Having failed to contact the Château de Fontager by telephone to notify them, I sent them an email. Everything is in order and that will not prevent us from returning there because we appreciate this place of tranquility and calm. Thank you C.St for your numerous interventions with the ticketing company🙏. Looking forward to meeting again. C.M.

21/09/2024: All you can eat buffet. Fair price but the variety and choice of main dishes are limited and not necessarily restocked on time. Nice and clean interior decor. Friendly staff

17/09/2024: 32 euros per person for an all-you-can-eat buffet is a bit expensive, in short, it doesn't matter, I'll try it, once you pay the staff see that you've reached it but don't calculate it, so you wait. Once installed, we discover health on the plates, all rooms one after the other (and the rest of the dishes), Some of the women who work there worked on the carts for clearing out and they even cleared the couple's cutlery in front of us even though they hadn't finished, at least I know I wouldn't go back there again.

28/08/2024: Small card but quality. The essentials are there. It’s simple, good and well presented. The restaurant is beautiful, redone with taste and particular attention to detail. The view of the Orthodox church is just magnificent and exceptional. The whole thing contributes to an exceptional experience. Some evenings there are musicians. It's very nice.

12/07/2024: Welcoming hotel. Clean but dated room. We don't even talk about the bathroom! (We would have thought we were in an epade.) Meal at the restaurant, very good and good. Just a bottle of water for €4, that’s excessive! Breakfast expensive, but OK.

22/09/2024: Very friendly and good-willed waitress… But then big organizational problem, dishes come with sauce instead of without, the fondue nothing exceptional, out of stock for certain accompaniments... You are forced to listen to rap for 30 minutes in a restaurant in the evening... thanks to the waitress who asked the manager to change the music for the customers... the crème brûlée served on a second plate full of sauce (see in the photo)… really not professional at all and catastrophic management… and above all, completely false and uncontrolled notes. We paid 103€ and the wrong bill was 179€!!! Free salad (it was the minimum!) I left a tip for the waitress who did her best.

18/09/2024: We have already been here for the first time and the waiter was very welcoming. But this time, a very cold reception. The lights went out and then back on. It took 1 hour to get the first dish, a table much too small for that. We had no place, we were not offered water during the meal. While the other customers for the same meal had the biggest drinks and were offered water. The fondue was all lumpy, the servers were also very rough. No “bon appetit” or “please” The cutlery was barely taken from our hands. For dessert, we had to wait another 45 minutes, even though there were 6 tables in the restaurant. I wouldn't come back, when I have the other negative opinions I completely agree with them. Then there is a bell that just rings throughout the meal. The waiters come and go outside. Restaurant to avoid!

Jacques the boss reserved his best table for us, we were alone in the restaurant but no worries for him, we were received like kings and were able to share a magnificent evening in a sublime setting. Don't miss out if you're in the area!
