21/12/2025: We just drove quite a few kilometers to find this supposedly open restaurant, and there was nothing there. The phone number didn't work, and there were no signs on site, just a sign saying "open" with the hours. Disgusted.

08/06/2026: We regularly get tacos and kebabs there. The lady is always smiling and pleasant, and the food is delicious. It's a shame the gentleman is so unpleasant; it's embarrassing for his lovely wife.

15/02/2026: Our children (16-year-olds) went to eat at 8:15 pm...5 teenagers. I should mention that it was pouring rain. They were refused service, supposedly because there were too many orders, even though all the tables were available... Unacceptable! I don't think adults received the same treatment! What a shame 😑

14/05/2026: Very good restaurant, reasonable prices for what you get. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant.

16/04/2026: The white sauce was inedible; I threw away the entire kebab. I called the establishment to ask if there was a problem with the expiration date! The man told me it was a homemade sauce. Oh dear, oh dear, well, that's really not good at all. I won't be going back.

06/05/2026: Order placed today. I don't recommend it! The kebab was overcooked, I'd even say burnt. The kebab cooking needs improvement.

03/05/2026: Over 50 calls and still no response regarding an incomplete order. What's the point of a phone line if you just leave it on voicemail?

02/06/2026: The couscous was as good as ever, the kebabs were excellent. The staff were pleasant.

14/05/2026: Avoid this place. The value for money is simply outrageous. I ordered a doner kebab with fries to take away, and the amount of meat on the plate was ridiculous. Any other kebab shop would give you at least twice that amount. And with that meager meat, you get a tiny portion of fries to go with it, all for €17.50, yes, €17.50. That said, the meat itself was very good, but for that price, it's unacceptable.

30/05/2026: The best chip shop ever! Finally, good, fresh fries served in generous portions at an attractive price, unlike other chip shops, especially in Tourcoing city center where they're neither fresh nor very expensive. I often go back to Gaiguette's on weekends; it's a real treat for my taste buds... And for those who say they're disappointed with the cooking or that it's expensive, you're finding problems where there aren't any; you can't expect to have your cake and eat it too!

10/04/2026: My team and I go there almost every week, and it's top-notch, especially the burger and raclette – it's amazing!

22/04/2026: Very good. Lovely, colorful decor. Even on a weekday, the service was friendly and efficient. The carbonara, lasagna, and tiramisu are excellent. Enjoy your meal! 😋

26/03/2026: It's a shame the pizzas are more like tarts. I don't know if it's because I go to Italy often or if my standards are just too high, but a crust that thin, industrial tomato sauce or cream as a base... the toppings are generous, sure, the "pizza" will fill you up, but look elsewhere if you're looking for a proper pizza. I didn't eat there or try anything else on the menu, so I can't comment on that. Maybe there will be a surprise in store, who knows?

28/05/2026: Very disappointed. The floor inside is sticky, the outdoor table is unstable, the toilet door doesn't close properly, and the hand dryer is broken. And to top it all off, the food and fries aren't good. In short, I miss going there a few years ago.

03/05/2026: Sunday, 1:30 PM: The welcome was fine, but as soon as I placed my order, the waiter unfortunately didn't understand a word of French. I asked if they had any homemade sauces, and he listed them as "Biggy Algerian ketchup..." Basically, his whole collection of colorful tubes. I looked to the other guys for someone to answer me, but clearly no one was able to. I asked if the white sauce was homemade. "Oh yes, homemade," he said. The result was an industrial sauce, without a doubt, and tasteless. In short, the only difference between one kebab and another might be the vegetables used for toppings, but if even making a single homemade sauce is considered too much, what's the point of opening establishments like this? Pointless. The bread was nicely toasted, the vegetables were fairly fresh, the fries were frozen, and the meat was just as ordinary as in any other restaurant of this type. While 90 cents cheaper than their direct competitor, they offer a tasty and velvety homemade white sauce and excellent seasoning.

26/04/2026: Disappointed with the service; the welcome was unpleasant and the cleanliness wasn't an option. There's a lack of smiles in this restaurant. I won't be returning.

26/04/2026: For many years we went to this restaurant for the quality of the Pedra Alta meals, but in April 2026, we were completely disappointed. The freshness of the shellfish is no longer the same. The poorly grilled shrimp and squid were sent back to the grill a second time and returned overcooked and inedible. The mussels and fries were undercooked and not fresh enough. The cod fritters were underfried. The children's meat was of mediocre quality. Out of five people, four got sick (three immediately and one in the evening). While this restaurant used to be one of the best in the Pedra Alta chain (excellent food, service, and especially wait times), we are extremely disappointed. We expressed our dissatisfaction upon leaving so they could improve their service, but I'm not sure our message was understood. What a huge waste. What a shame.
