14/02/2026: A very bad experience with the Helgon Hotel. My train was canceled due to weather. I immediately called reception, and the receptionist confirmed that I could cancel free of charge and asked me to do it myself. I followed his instructions. A few hours later, a complete reversal: cancellation refused and charges maintained. I find this unacceptable and unprofessional. The information given to customers is not respected. You will hear from me. Be very vigilant and demand everything in writing. Very disappointed.

02/12/2025: Very nice hotel, friendly staff. Be aware of the housekeeping service in the rooms (cobwebs in the corners, dust under the beds, tiles not very clean). The self-service restaurant was very good, the plated dishes were good but it's a shame they arrived cold, and desserts were served individually at the table. We were a group of 50 people (2 days full board). You offered everyone coffee at the last meal, but for those who don't drink coffee, you could have offered something else like tea, which was refused to me.

18/08/2024: Place to improvise a cheese and/or pâté tasting within a menu. We were pleasantly surprised. You can see how they make it with great taste. Highly recommended.

18/08/2024: Hello to you who read this! I went there with my best friend to try it and damn, we weren't disappointed. If you like boards, bread and nice atmospheres, this is the place for you. First of all, the principle is nice: make your own board. And it's when you see the choice available that you tell yourself that you're going to have to do some cardio to eliminate all that. A dozen cheeses, as many cold cuts, selections of the moment, spreads, vegetables (to make it look like we eat healthy😁). There are also ready-made boards, if you don't want to worry. The decor is very nice, with lots of nice frames. We gave up on the choice and... we couldn't finish. Luckily, they offer doggy bags because it would be a crime to ruin that. Special mention for the country terrine which sends out some paté😁 No, seriously, very nice. We will come back but this time, we will be reasonable. That said, the place is not very big so if you want to go there, remember to book, it costs nothing and it is possible to do that from their website.

28/08/2024: Très bel endroit, très belle vue, le service était parfait, personnel sympathique avec de l’humour malgré le restaurant rempli Pour ce qui était des entrées et des plats, un délice, rien à redire Les photos parlent d’elles mêmes

09/08/2024: La vue est juste magnifique, un petit havre de paix. Le service est professionnel, et les propriétaires très agréables. Les plats servis sont originaux et pleins de saveurs. La carte des vins est pleine de pépites. Nous sommes locaux et avons l’habitude de venir à la cabane de la Patache, jamais déçus!

05/04/2024: We had a fantastic evening here with our four children. The service was good as was the food but what really made the evening special was the love band ‘the peppermints’ and the magician. The peppermints are a band from nice I think they said and they played and sang songs on demand and were just fantastic. They went round to each table once or twice and their music was fantastic. The magician was simply magical. He pulled lots of baby toy robots out of my little boys sleeve and magically multiplied them in my youngest daughter’s hands. They were mesmerised. He did a brilliant card trick which we couldn’t work out and a metal ring trick. It was all very impressive. He said he was there every Wednesday evening so book a Wednesday! My only regret is that we didn’t have any cash to tip either the band or the magician as only had credit cards. Take some cash for their fantastic entertainment.

09/03/2024: Bon restaurant traditionnel.. nous avons bien mangés. Cependant, les délais de service un peu long pour une pause déjeuner dans une journée de ski. Prix assez élevé.

23/09/2024: Not great 😢 I hadn't been here for a while, degraded service, a dish filled with overcooked fries, salad and poorly reheated wheat, around 80 gr of meat and hardened bread…. I will never come back again

13/05/2024: 6 of us had take away burgers ,quite simply we all agreed we were robbed ,we paid full menu prices for take aways that were wet , soggy and cold , clearly they had been prepared well in advance of collection, from 6 boxs ,we threw 2 whole boxs away never again

14/05/2024: Hotel full of charm which has a soul. A magnificent view of the Pyrenees! The staff is very professional, very smiling and close to the customer despite the fact that they are understaffed The food is very good even if over the past 4 days, the menu does not change. It's a shame that the outdoor swimming pool was left abandoned as well as the vegetable garden at the back. A refresh would be welcome. Absolute calm, top massages
