18/04/2026: A complete disaster: the owner is about as friendly as a prison guard, the place is filthy, and the customers stare at you like a wolf eyeing a piece of meat. And to top it all off, they barely stock any tobacco/cigarettes, etc... Avoid at all costs. There are plenty of other places where the owners actually want to work with a smile and in a clean environment.

15/07/2026: I called them for help; I didn't know them. I ordered two chicken tacos with Algerian sauce over the phone. I get home and see this weird white sauce, like a melted, lumpy suppository. I call the guy I ordered from, thinking it was his mistake, and he tells me: "At our place, that's our base: cheese sauce and a little bit of Algerian sauce." But dude, I'm the one paying, I'm the one who decides what I want, you don't get to decide for me! There's no flavor, no salt on the fries or the chicken, and the sauce makes me want to throw up. Two tacos, straight to the trash.

30/01/2026: The pizza was still as good as ever, but last night the pizza maker and his partner, his brother, given their resemblance, took it upon themselves to insult us in Tunisian Arabic because we hadn't bought two lunar soft drinks. For all bilingual and civilized people, please remain calm if you upset the pizza maker.

10/07/2026: A complete disaster... We ordered a large chicken rosti and instead received a large beef rosti in a chicken package, and to top it off, the sauce was missing, as you can see... My son was thrilled to get a World Cup squid in his Happy Meal, and instead he got an old toy that was lying around... And to top it all off, the potato and ketchup sauces were filled with an orange cheddar-style sauce that we hadn't ordered... A disgrace...

19/03/2026: A room that evokes the warmth of the mountains, a wonderful family running the hotel, with their son in the kitchen offering exceptional quality dishes that will leave you wanting more, a full breakfast served by the lovely Michèle, rooms with balconies, tables and chairs, and pretty bathrooms, very comfortable beds and high-quality linens—care is evident throughout the building. Not to mention the location, away from the village center, a delight for children. A warm and pleasant welcome after a long day of travel. Will we return? Yes, without hesitation! The peace and quiet are perfect, yet only a 10-15 minute walk (without ski boots). The prices are reasonable compared to other resorts in the village. When I read some of the negative comments, I don't understand their negativity. Perhaps they're used to higher standards but don't want to pay the price. We found the price, the welcome, and the quality to be excellent.

13/03/2026: The service I received on the phone was extremely poor; I called at 10 PM to make a reservation. They hung up on me outright. I went to another hotel.

16/07/2026: A really nice bar, the atmosphere is always great! The owner makes amazing dishes every day. I highly recommend it, you won't regret it.

13/07/2026: I came for a coffee, which turned out to be exceptional, then a Ricard transformed into a Mauresque, a divine creation

25/03/2026: Avoid this restaurant at all costs! The owner is unpleasant, the service is incredibly slow, and it's very expensive for what's on the plate. But the real drama is that we weren't allowed to ask for a carafe of water because the owner told me we were on a rationing plan! Yes, you heard right... I could have filed a complaint against this establishment because it's illegal to refuse a carafe of water! Give it a miss unless you have money to burn... However, the view is very nice...

13/03/2026: Amazing scenery, food was between 2 - 3 stars. Self-service. Toilets are a bit basic, and are down a small slope under the restaurant, sink had very cold water and no hand drying facilities.

06/08/2026: I'll keep it simple and short: the pastries are awful, completely tasteless! The staff is a disaster—you leave this place angry and upset by their behavior, and when you get home you're annoyed and disappointed to have paid so much for pastries that have no flavor! I absolutely do not recommend it!

05/08/2026: Good news: if you're looking for room fragrance, tea towels, chicken, or even a handbag, this former pastry shop is now the place for you. Less good news: if you came for the pastries, look elsewhere. Since the takeover, the quality has taken a serious hit, and so have the prices! More expensive, less good. As for the service, it's hard to imagine anything more unpleasant! In short, we're done with it; we won't be going back! The place used to have a real reputation, a real soul... Now it's just a run-of-the-mill "bakery-general store" concept.

12/07/2026: We loved it! It was delicious and the portions were generous. We'll definitely recommend it.

23/06/2026: A mixed tuna and salmon chirashi: the portions were ridiculously small (I even asked if it was supposed to be an appetizer), the fish was bland, the tuna was like cotton, and the rice was tasteless (where did the vinegar go?). Unlike other sushi restaurants, soup and salad weren't included. The sauce was an extra charge (outrageous!), adding another hidden cost: no ginger and no wasabi. In short, a bare-bones chirashi, nothing but the bare bones, for €14.90. Needless to say, I was furious. And when I expressed my surprise, I almost got yelled at. In short, avoid at all costs.

08/08/2026: I just left this restaurant because of the notorious rudeness of a certain Diane, who claims to be the manager and refuses to take my order unless I change tables. What a waste of service!

05/08/2026: A new discovery for me, I had a fantastic meal. The signature sauce was excellent, the service was quick, we'll be back, thank you!

24/07/2026: I ordered a veggie wrap as I don't eat meat, and I ended up with a stale wrap full of chicken nuggets. It's unacceptable to be so careless. Please respect vegetarians. You can ask your colleague in the kitchen at 4:40 PM on July 24, 2026, why they didn't pay attention to this. Otherwise, the other employees were still respectful and helpful.

23/07/2026: Fast service (less than 5 minutes even though we ordered a personalized order), smiling staff, clean restaurant with a nice view, and excellent fries (first time we've ever had that at McDonald's)!!!!!

06/05/2026: Our experience was very mixed. Positive: - Comfortable bedding and a lovely view - The staff was very pleasant - The wine was very good (perfectly paired) - The view was beautiful, especially at sunset - Very quiet Negative: - For a seven-course dinner, we expected fresh bread, but it was dry. - The service was very slow; two and a half hours to eat is far too slow, especially since it wasn't really seven courses. The amuse-bouches aren't supposed to count as a course (we're used to Michelin-starred restaurants), and the rest of the meal should have been served quickly. - The room was shabby: peeling paint, noisy shower (when all they needed was a new faucet), and a bandage was used to repair the hairdryer... - There was a room with lots of board games, which was great! Except that the games are incomplete; we tested about ten of them, and there's always something missing...

05/05/2026: A haven of serenity (and delicious food) overlooking the mountains! An absolutely perfect stay at this aptly named establishment. From the moment you arrive, you're struck by the tranquility and the breathtaking view of the valley, but it's the welcome that truly makes the difference: warm, professional, and genuine. Spa: A pure moment of relaxation. The facilities are impeccable, and the view from the relaxation areas is simply magical. It's the ideal remedy after a day on the trails (or slopes!). I'll just mention the absence of a jacuzzi. There's a hammam, sauna, massage shower, and hanging chairs with a tea area. But no jacuzzi. Dining: Special mention for the restaurant! You can feel the genuine attention to local products, which are enhanced with finesse. It's top-notch, both for the palate and the service. The hotel's eco-responsible commitment (the first bioclimatic hotel in the region, if I'm not mistaken!) allows you to enjoy luxury guilt-free. In short, whether it's the attentive staff or the quality of the services, La Croix de Savoie is a rare find in Les Carroz. You come for the view, you stay for the experience. Thank you for this timeless moment!

20/07/2026: A very well-located brasserie in the heart of the city center. The terrace boasts a lovely view! Special mention must go to the efficient, friendly, cheerful, and attentive waiter, Yassine! A great team that listens! I highly recommend it!
