15/08/2026: The bouncers and servers were pleasant, and the atmosphere was decent. It's a shame that after two visits, we were disappointed by the service. For a 1-liter bottle of vodka, they only offered four small cans of Red Bull, which is clearly insufficient. We therefore had to buy two additional cans, costing €20 in total (€10 per can). Yet, glasses of vodka and Red Bull cost €12. The prices are quite inconsistent… The owner was also rather unfriendly. A pity.

16/08/2026: We had a much-needed lunch here after a lengthy morning on our bikes. They have a good selection of crowd-pleasing food, including steaks, salads, poky bowls, waffles and pancakes, plus some nice beers. Service was quick and friendly. Open seven days a week until 9 pm. Recommended.

15/07/2026: I called them for help; I didn't know them. I ordered two chicken tacos with Algerian sauce over the phone. I get home and see this weird white sauce, like a melted, lumpy suppository. I call the guy I ordered from, thinking it was his mistake, and he tells me: "At our place, that's our base: cheese sauce and a little bit of Algerian sauce." But dude, I'm the one paying, I'm the one who decides what I want, you don't get to decide for me! There's no flavor, no salt on the fries or the chicken, and the sauce makes me want to throw up. Two tacos, straight to the trash.

25/08/2026: We ordered three takeaway pizzas, and honestly, it's a complete rip-off 😤. What a surprise to find that when we opened the boxes, they were practically all the same pizzas—no taste, no flavor, and smaller than a regular pizza... We might as well have bought frozen pizzas! Sir/Madam, you need to go back and train to be a pizza maker!

06/05/2026: Our experience was very mixed. Positive: - Comfortable bedding and a lovely view - The staff was very pleasant - The wine was very good (perfectly paired) - The view was beautiful, especially at sunset - Very quiet Negative: - For a seven-course dinner, we expected fresh bread, but it was dry. - The service was very slow; two and a half hours to eat is far too slow, especially since it wasn't really seven courses. The amuse-bouches aren't supposed to count as a course (we're used to Michelin-starred restaurants), and the rest of the meal should have been served quickly. - The room was shabby: peeling paint, noisy shower (when all they needed was a new faucet), and a bandage was used to repair the hairdryer... - There was a room with lots of board games, which was great! Except that the games are incomplete; we tested about ten of them, and there's always something missing...

05/05/2026: A haven of serenity (and delicious food) overlooking the mountains! An absolutely perfect stay at this aptly named establishment. From the moment you arrive, you're struck by the tranquility and the breathtaking view of the valley, but it's the welcome that truly makes the difference: warm, professional, and genuine. Spa: A pure moment of relaxation. The facilities are impeccable, and the view from the relaxation areas is simply magical. It's the ideal remedy after a day on the trails (or slopes!). I'll just mention the absence of a jacuzzi. There's a hammam, sauna, massage shower, and hanging chairs with a tea area. But no jacuzzi. Dining: Special mention for the restaurant! You can feel the genuine attention to local products, which are enhanced with finesse. It's top-notch, both for the palate and the service. The hotel's eco-responsible commitment (the first bioclimatic hotel in the region, if I'm not mistaken!) allows you to enjoy luxury guilt-free. In short, whether it's the attentive staff or the quality of the services, La Croix de Savoie is a rare find in Les Carroz. You come for the view, you stay for the experience. Thank you for this timeless moment!

24/08/2026: The Irish coffee is good, but otherwise, you're better off going somewhere else. I can't recall ever seeing such rude service. Clean your tables and terrace, and at the very least, check the class and manners of your servers.

20/08/2026: Going to the toilet and getting comments like "Are you going to the toilet or do the dishes?" followed by the "nice walk," which is so sexist and boorish; after a hike, that's not what you want to hear.

14/08/2026: We were more than satisfied with our experience at the restaurant "Le Vieux Mazot". It was our first time there, even though we live just a stone's throw away, but we will definitely return. The welcome was very friendly and the setting ideal for a lovely family meal. The portions were generous and the food was excellent!

09/08/2026: August 9, 2026. I discovered this restaurant, which is fortunate enough to have an exceptional view of the Mont Blanc mountain range; unfortunately, the weather was overcast and even rainy. A friend and I shared a very good quality spit-roasted beef, served with perfectly grilled sliced ​​potatoes, homemade sauces, and a mixed green salad. For dessert, a magical chocolate mousse delighted my taste buds. A very decent glass of Côtes-du-Rhône accompanied the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant; the owner and waitress are very friendly.

24/08/2026: A warm and welcoming place where we enjoyed an excellent fondue and alpine sundae (Monday's Savoyard fondue menu). The staff are very friendly and welcoming; I highly recommend it!

03/08/2026: A very warm and professional welcome. Quick service and the Savoyard dishes were delicious. We were able to dine in the cool shade on the terrace. We almost overlooked this restaurant because of the Google review, but we were treated better than in many other restaurants in Flaine. We will definitely return, and kudos again to the two lovely and efficient waitresses.

17/08/2026: Waiting doesn't seem to be what it used to be. The service was appalling, and I was overwhelmed with only two tables. It's unbelievable to be working like this in 2026. I'll have to find another job.

21/08/2026: Disappointing!! Having known the bakery's pastries for years, I used to recommend them, but recently I bought a blueberry tart for €30 (it was for 6 slices). The blueberries were coarse and frozen (I think they were even from the day before) 😡 whereas before they had such fine pastries. €30 for blueberries like that is unacceptable. The bread is not as good as it used to be. Plus, they have a little bottle for catching wasps 🐝 in the cake display. Really disappointed!
