10/05/2026: They sell crap! ;))))) Carrefour products!!! Avoid the beef burgers, they're food garbage!!! The product is full of salt (3x the recommended dose) and starch… I can't wait to go to Rumilly and see this so-called butcher shop… Oh yes, it's definitely a butcher shop…

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! The hanger steak with tomato sauce was excellent: very high-quality meat, tender and flavorful. I'm delighted with my purchase, even if the price is a little high; it's definitely worth it for such a good product. This is a place I'll keep close at hand, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good meat.

18/03/2026: It's an ok hotel. Clean, functional and well situated a few metres from the lifts and another slope that takes you straight down. I just think that it is overpriced for what it is.

17/03/2026: Reservation at La Grande Lanière for 6 people at 8 pm. Upon arrival, no one seemed to be aware of the reservation, and the table wasn't ready. Once seated, the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink. There was no wine list, "We have red from Savoie." "Do you have white?" – the response: "Hold on, I'll go check." We ordered three fondues, two rib-eye steaks, and, most notably, a tagliatelle with salmon. The dish was a pile of cold, dry, and stuck-together pasta topped with a few pieces of smoked salmon. The fondues arrived, but there were no plates, no bread, and no forks. The bread for the other dishes arrived much later, only upon request, as it was frozen and quickly reheated in the oven. Finally, the meal ended, and the waiter asked if we wanted coffee. "Yes, a decaf, please…" "Oh, sorry, we don't have decaf." Either you want to run a restaurant with a minimum of professionalism and quality, or you should change careers, which would be perfect for future customers who wouldn't be taken for a ride. 14/07/2026: The food was acceptable and affordable, but the service was deplorable and inappropriate for a resort like Megève…disappointing, as the location is unique. Second attempt, and the same result. So we won't be going there for lunch again.

20/06/2026: We were in Megève, a resort renowned for its hospitality and service. Unfortunately, this was not the case at all here. We had to order our drinks at the bar and then carry them back to our table ourselves. Meanwhile, other customers seemed to be receiving completely different treatment. We got the feeling that if you don't arrive in a Ferrari or a Lamborghini, you're ignored. Very disappointing for an establishment in Megève. We won't be returning.

18/02/2026: This place has become just another ordinary spot. We used to know it was much better, and during school holidays, they didn't even serve waffles at 4 pm, and that seemed perfectly normal... As a former bartender, I always managed to help customers out. What a shame.

11/01/2026: The setting is great! But only the setting. For the rest, the food selection is very limited, the service is cold, and they charge you directly. What a shame. Such a shame. Instead of making Les Deux Guides a hotspot for nightlife in Le Grand-Bornand... it's a very, very ordinary place!

05/02/2026: Incredible! We spent three days there with friends. The place is amazing, the rooms are amazing, the food was also fantastic (breakfast could perhaps be improved, but otherwise great), and the owners, contrary to some reviews I've read, were incredibly friendly and amazing! Highly recommended!

13/01/2026: AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Don't be fooled by the owners' fake smiles. Mrs. Berger spends her time complaining and criticizing her other guests (don't think you'll be spared), and all she cares about is money. Ask for a mug of hot water, and she'll tell her waiters to bring you a tiny cup. She'll refuse glasses for your room because you have to order at the bar, of course. And half-board is already ridiculously expensive for what you'll eat… (the raclette is a joke). Glasses of wine at €14 that you finish in three sips… etc. Always thinking we're deaf, Mr. Berger told one of his employees that they had to, and I quote, "figure out the sauna" (which barely works). Very pleasant to wait for. Furthermore, he always speaks very, very rudely to his poor employees. I'll skip over the fact that the jacuzzi wasn't working, nor was the coffee machine, the Wi-Fi, and so on. And when it was time to leave, no goodbye, no offer to take us out, nothing. We've never seen anything like it. Luckily the waiters were there; they were young, helpful, and friendly. But my goodness, the poor things, working for bosses who respect no one. In short, avoid this place; there are plenty of other hotels and chalets at the foot of the slopes with people who love their work.

08/07/2026: He served us cheap frozen pizzas and added small pieces of meat to make it look like pizza... Horrible experience for us. He assaulted us in the street after I commented about his pizzas because he didn't want us to tell him the truth. Next time, I'll call the police if I'm attacked in the street. Furthermore, he looks down on the local seasonal workers because, according to him, we do menial jobs. I don't recommend going there; eat somewhere else.

03/05/2026: My boyfriend and I came to eat a Savoyard fondue. The menu stated "€25 minimum 2 people" and in tiny print in the top right corner, "€25 price per person," practically invisible on the menu. We were served in less than 5 minutes. The fondue pot was disgusting; the bottom was black and it smelled like burnt cheese. As for the cheese, I don't think it had just been made because it had already formed a crust on top, and there were black bits in our fondue... (if we had wanted to eat leftovers, we would have stayed home). The charcuterie was very average; the cooked ham was very fatty with tough pieces. A small mention for the cured ham, which was delicious (the only good thing about the meal, actually). The menu stated "served with croutons," but we didn't get toasted croutons; instead, we got stale bread that was probably from the day before (or maybe even earlier). The potatoes had sprouted! I didn't know they could serve potatoes full of sprouts in a restaurant… As for the service, we were very disappointed as well; one of the waitresses used a very informal manner. In the end, we paid 50 euros for a disgusting fondue. The one from the ready-made bag at Carrefour is no better than the one at this restaurant.

01/05/2026: We went to this restaurant. The waiter was unpleasant, the service was mediocre. We ordered a plate of rare meat, but when we told him it was overcooked, he brought us another plate with the same pieces. As for the beef bourguignon, the pieces were mostly fat, the vegetables were overcooked, and the sauce was too thick. In short, I don't recommend it. 👎👎👎👎

06/07/2026: I'm only giving 3 stars because the staff are always very kind and do their best, despite the stifling heat in the store. However, there are several things that need improvement. Every time I come, I ask for the salad menu, and I'm told they don't have it today. And as for the pizzas from the monthly special, forget about it… This isn't the first time this has happened. And by lunchtime, they're already out of sandwiches. It's a real shame, because it gives the impression that they don't keep enough stock. Something needs to be done to improve product availability.

07/03/2026: A very pleasant surprise! A delightful mountain restaurant with flavorful and fresh dishes. I was thrilled to enjoy a vegetarian red coconut curry with unique fresh vegetables on a day of skiing! The terrace is lovely; you can sunbathe and relax—just what you need to head back out onto the slopes feeling refreshed. Thank you for everything!

05/03/2026: We arrived for lunch as a couple. There were several empty tables. We sat down at one of them. The waiter repeatedly ignored us, apparently because we hadn't noticed his instructions – though definitely not intentionally. He then told us we had to wait. When he finally came, he told us to sit at a different table – even though there were still plenty of other free tables. We then left the restaurant. The behavior was unfriendly, unprofessional, and like something out of a kindergarten.

16/07/2026: Often when you order something is missing and it's often cold. It's very disappointing when you go after a certain time; if you order nuggets or a burger, it's too dry because it's been kept warm for too long.

01/08/2026: The service was terrible. Not having a table available without a reservation is perfectly understandable, but the way customers were treated so rudely is another matter entirely. The owner greeted us in a curt and haughty tone. There's a way to tell people they're full without being disrespectful. Avoid this place.

23/04/2026: Hello, it had been a long time since I'd stopped at Blachère, and I must say I ate my pizza because I wanted to eat something. It was bland (even though it was a chorizo ​​pizza). I thought I'd end on a high note with the cookie, but it was incredibly hard and very sweet, so I couldn't taste the chocolate. I was served by a courteous young man.

21/07/2026: We thought we were lucky to find one table free for four. Out with two small children, eating pancakes is naturally a treat for them. Tables around us had pancakes with Nutella, among other things. After a very long wait (+/- 20 minutes), we were finally handed a menu. Our French isn't very good, but we still did our best to order in French. The waitress didn't speak English, you see. She was clearly irritated that I wasn't very good at French, because she sighed and looked very angry—read: rolling her eyes away. Drinks had been ordered, and they said they would just take a look at exactly what we wanted to eat. After waiting another good 15 minutes and still not having received any drinks, I even beckoned the wait staff over. When ordering pancakes, we were told that none of the sweet pancakes were available. Very strange, considering several tables around us did have them, and that wasn't mentioned when we received the menu. So, by now, well over 35 minutes had passed. No drinks, and the food we wanted wasn't available. We just left and went somewhere else to eat and drink. Hospitality, friendliness, or even clarity are completely absent here. After reading multiple reviews with the same experiences, it surprises me that they still exist.
