16/03/2024: This is a banging place to go with plenty of live music and entertainment plus generous measures on shorts. Get there early as aprés starts at 1730 and the place gets rammed. The atmosphere is friendly and party party party, if you want to join in the dancing on the tables this is the place for you. No trouble just a great time. Staff fantastic too.

28/09/2024: The problem is not so much at the station but the lack of service to Lyon and Geneva due to the single track on each side, a city like Annecy deserves much better service

24/02/2025: The most horrible experience we have ever encountered in this lovely town. The owner/gérant was very rude, the drinks were disgusting (sour beer, too old) and he was angry on us because we had to clean the table ourselves. We didn’t know. We were so surprised to clean the table that we talked about it at the reception … but he heard us and (cherry on the cake) he cancelled the booking we had at his restaurant a few days later … because we complained… when enquired why the reservation was cancelled the owner responded that he is "independent from Pierre & Vacances » and he can do whatever he wants 🤯 2 couples with 3 children.. very much not recommended !

12/09/2024: Great Burgers I have ever eaten in france. The royale burger or cheeseburger are deep in flavor, well done and accompanied with fries is worth trying. They also serve local nepo beers which are a fine in taste. If you are vegetarian try the burger either rosti and hummus and avocado.

08/09/2024: nous sommes retournés dans ce restaurant que nous connaissons depuis de nombreuses années, c'est le plus ancien de l'agglomération. et rien n'a changé, la patronne et son fils, les menus toujours excellents, on est en orient pendant quelques heures.

02/09/2024: Very good experience for our night at the Refuge with half board. Smiling and efficient welcome from Lisa, copious and excellent meals (the pancakes for breakfast, what a luxury!!) and completely honorable room.

30/08/2024: Refuge taken under the TMB. Very cute, far from the big tourist shelters that we encountered on this tour. An incredible view of Mont Blanc. Impeccable service and very generous meals. I recommend without hesitation
