11/11/2024: Everything is good and fortunately they are open the weekend of November 11! They are the only ones! Very nice atmosphere and simple but nice dishes Very good draft beers Just lacks a little light, a very cozy atmosphere, a little too much perhaps 😉

05/04/2026: I am unfortunately very disappointed with my experience at this hotel, particularly with the restaurant. The service was simply disastrous. From the outset, we noticed a lack of professionalism, notably with a misleading wine list: we ordered a bottle advertised as a 2020 vintage, but the one we were served was a 2022, without any prior notification. We were simply told they no longer had the 2020 when we saw on the bottle that it was a 2022, which is unacceptable. Furthermore, part of our order was forgotten, and we had to request it ourselves. While they did offer a complimentary glass of champagne as a gesture of goodwill, this does not compensate for the numerous shortcomings. For an establishment that claims to be a "Master Restaurateur," the standard is clearly below expectations, both in terms of service quality and professionalism. The manager's condescending attitude towards us only worsened the experience. Fortunately, the setting is magnificent—undoubtedly the only real positive point about this hotel. In short, a place with potential, but service that completely ruins the experience.

05/04/2026: We had a wonderful family weekend at Le Beau Site in Talloires! The hotel offers breathtaking views of the lake and mountains. Our rooms were very comfortable, well-equipped, and spotlessly clean! The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of homemade, high-quality products! My husband and I enjoyed the wellness area (pool, sauna, hammam) and had a relaxing massage—we loved it! The highlight of our stay: we booked a boat trip with the owner, including an aperitif at sunset. A truly timeless experience! The staff and the owners went out of their way to make our stay perfect! In short, everything is in place for a wonderful family getaway and a chance to recharge! We'll be back very soon!

09/09/2024: We stayed 3 nights at the Hôtel du Bois Joli and everything was perfect, a beautiful and large renovated room with a view of the valley, delicious breakfasts and dinners with seasonal and local products. A warm, family atmosphere, we will come back and we highly recommend it.

08/09/2024: 2nd time we came to Bois Jolie (1st time in January with snow), this time in summer and we were not disappointed! Warm and pleasant welcome, the rooms have been renovated, it's very successful! We were able to try the outdoor swimming pool which is very nice. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant (2nd time too), and it was excellent, faultless, both in terms of taste and dishes offered. Breakfast is always good and enjoyable. It’s definitely a good little address to remember if you’re in the area! ---------------------------------------------- Great experience at Bois Joli! Welcome and attentive service. The room is very pleasant, cozy, well renovated and offers a view of the mountains. 10 minutes by car from Thollon-les-memises and with hiking trails around. The restaurant is great, the dishes are sublime; the combination of the different products is perfect, we had a great time!

21/07/2024: Malgré un service très chaleureux nous avons été très déçues. Le prix des plats comparé à ce qu’il y a dans l’assiette est relativement élevé. 34€ pour un plat de filets de perche avec des légumes à peine cuit et sans réel goût, peu de perches dans l’assiette, nous étions deux et nous avons eu un tout petit bol de pomme de terre pour deux. Je repars donc sur ma faim, c’est dommage car les produits sont frais. On notera tout de même le large choix de dessert disponible ce qui est plaisant. Ceci dit j’avais entendu beaucoup de ce restaurant, je ne recommanderais pas.

23/06/2024: En soirée étape à l'auberge d'Anthy, j'ai été trés bien accueilli. Le dîner s'est déroulé sur la terrasse de l'auberge. le personnel s'est montré professionnel et agréable ce qui m'a donné envie de prolonger ma soirée. La qualité et le dressage de ma salade composée et du filet de lieu noir (cf photo) démontrent le professionnalisme du chef et de sa brigade. J'ai également apprécié la découpe en live de l'omble chevalier devant les convives. Bref, ce fut un agréable moment et je recommande cette auberge à tous les connaisseurs et amateurs de produits frais.

29/09/2024: Too bad not to have taken advantage of the outside terrace because of invasive wasps, it doesn't change anything in the quality of the cuisine, incredibly and pleasantly surprised it was delicious.

14/09/2024: Very welcoming waitress, smiling and attentive. Raclette and Savoyard burger superbly good! Chocolate fondant too! Good value for money

01/12/2024: Great restaurant. Simple foods incredibly well cooked even for a daily menu. It's a great discovery, the service is fast and efficient, the atmosphere friendly. A real semi-gastronomic meal with great value for money.

07/08/2024: Repas typiquement savoyard, de bons produits, bien préparés, des plats typiques. Au menu : tartiflette, fondue, raclette… L’endroit est agréable, le service sympathique. Une bonne adresse, pour un repas simple et un service rapide.
