13/05/2026: Arrived at 7:55 PM to find the door closed, even though closing time is advertised as 8:30 PM. I can understand a restaurant stopping service at 8:15 PM, but being greeted with a closed door at 7:55 PM is unacceptable. Please note that closing time is 7:45 PM, if your employees are scheduled to leave at 8:30 PM. We want the restaurant's hours, not the employees' schedules.

27/04/2026: With diabetes, it's impossible to eat at Subau. No nutritional information is displayed, and the staff can't even weigh the bread for simple calculations. Remember that for those with diabetes, their lives depend on what you put on their plates. For your information, there are 400 million diabetics worldwide.

17/06/2026: An excellent restaurant that I frequent regularly. The Savoyard cuisine is authentic, generous, and always delicious. The dishes change with the seasons, using high-quality ingredients. Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

27/05/2026: You're far too rude to be seated facing the cable car 🚠. You, the blonde, bespectacled, and unpleasant owner, should really review your customer service standards. And for the locals who dare to give 5/5 ratings, I imagine you're entitled to a free coffee, with or without a jump… I have a coffee shop in La Clusaz myself, so I know what I'm talking about!

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery! The hanger steak with tomato sauce was excellent: very high-quality meat, tender and flavorful. I'm delighted with my purchase, even if the price is a little high; it's definitely worth it for such a good product. This is a place I'll keep close at hand, and I highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates good meat.

08/05/2026: The coffee was very expensive, and the price of the Coke didn't match what was listed on the menu. The prices of the pastries were listed excluding tax, not including tax.

03/05/2026: My boyfriend and I came to eat a Savoyard fondue. The menu stated "€25 minimum 2 people" and in tiny print in the top right corner, "€25 price per person," practically invisible on the menu. We were served in less than 5 minutes. The fondue pot was disgusting; the bottom was black and it smelled like burnt cheese. As for the cheese, I don't think it had just been made because it had already formed a crust on top, and there were black bits in our fondue... (if we had wanted to eat leftovers, we would have stayed home). The charcuterie was very average; the cooked ham was very fatty with tough pieces. A small mention for the cured ham, which was delicious (the only good thing about the meal, actually). The menu stated "served with croutons," but we didn't get toasted croutons; instead, we got stale bread that was probably from the day before (or maybe even earlier). The potatoes had sprouted! I didn't know they could serve potatoes full of sprouts in a restaurant… As for the service, we were very disappointed as well; one of the waitresses used a very informal manner. In the end, we paid 50 euros for a disgusting fondue. The one from the ready-made bag at Carrefour is no better than the one at this restaurant.

01/05/2026: We went to this restaurant. The waiter was unpleasant, the service was mediocre. We ordered a plate of rare meat, but when we told him it was overcooked, he brought us another plate with the same pieces. As for the beef bourguignon, the pieces were mostly fat, the vegetables were overcooked, and the sauce was too thick. In short, I don't recommend it. 👎👎👎👎

11/06/2026: I'm sorry for this very negative review, but the owner is not suited to cooking. He's very unpleasant, disorganized, and doesn't know how to serve. The staff are excellent, but the owner doesn't belong in this establishment. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

18/03/2026: It's an ok hotel. Clean, functional and well situated a few metres from the lifts and another slope that takes you straight down. I just think that it is overpriced for what it is.

17/03/2026: Reservation at La Grande Lanière for 6 people at 8 pm. Upon arrival, no one seemed to be aware of the reservation, and the table wasn't ready. Once seated, the waiter asked us what we wanted to drink. There was no wine list, "We have red from Savoie." "Do you have white?" – the response: "Hold on, I'll go check." We ordered three fondues, two rib-eye steaks, and, most notably, a tagliatelle with salmon. The dish was a pile of cold, dry, and stuck-together pasta topped with a few pieces of smoked salmon. The fondues arrived, but there were no plates, no bread, and no forks. The bread for the other dishes arrived much later, only upon request, as it was frozen and quickly reheated in the oven. Finally, the meal ended, and the waiter asked if we wanted coffee. "Yes, a decaf, please…" "Oh, sorry, we don't have decaf." Either you want to run a restaurant with a minimum of professionalism and quality, or you should change careers, which would be perfect for future customers who wouldn't be taken for a ride. 12/06/2026: Unfriendly, not welcome with our two-year-old son, walked away from this terrace immediately. Would not recommend it to anyone.

16/04/2026: I learned the bar had to close 😭 how sad, I usually hate beer 🍾 but I'll force myself to drink 🍸🍸🍸 of this nectar, well, there is a god after all, what a nice surprise and news, looking forward to seeing you all again and seeing that mammoth again, that fat cow and her mansion

10/04/2026: I don't understand how anyone can call this a cappuccino… No foam, served in a glass??? A glass that obviously doesn't protect against the heat 😭 Honestly, it's ridiculous… I won't be back, unfortunately!
