18/02/2026: We had a wonderful lunch at Venise on Saturday, February 14, 2026. The menus were particularly enjoyable, generous, and well-prepared. Despite the restaurant being full, the service was both efficient and attentive. The atmosphere, including in the kitchen, contributed greatly to the conviviality of the occasion. A truly lovely experience that we highly recommend.

06/04/2026: I've had the pleasure of dining there several times; the dishes are delicious, generous, and high-quality! The atmosphere of a traditional Italian trattoria is spot on—a warm, family-friendly ambiance that makes you want to return. The manager and staff are incredibly attentive. In short, if you're ever in Metz, you absolutely must visit this restaurant; I recommend it 100%! PS: If you go in the summer, the terrace is absolutely delightful.

06/11/2025: A lovely discovery this lunchtime on Rue de Tocqueville in the 17th arrondissement, less than 5 minutes from the office, thanks to a colleague during a business trip to Paris! A tiny Italian takeaway shop, absolutely fantastic, run by a very friendly Italian couple. I would describe this place as a "pasta bar," offering a variety of pasta dishes, each more tempting than the last. The service was excellent, with quick, warm, and smiling service despite the crowds. The portions are generous, and the pasta is more than excellent! Very good value for money in the 17th arrondissement. I will definitely return on my next trip to the 17th, if only to discover/try a new pasta dish, because I thoroughly enjoyed my choice of the day... despite my current lack of appetite... but I ate it all without even realizing it, and my stomach was more than satisfied and... is still asking for more, lol!

14/02/2026: Having come to try Chef Eric Lecerf's famous stuffed cabbage again, I ended up being tempted by Senator Couteaux's hare à la royale. Anne-Cécile Faye's charm was truly at work, and to great effect! To balance things out, I was served crabmeat, avocado, and pomegranate as a starter: it made me feel much less guilty. And to finish, I was kindly steered towards a homemade dessert, and at that point, several experiences swirled in my memory: pear clafoutis, Parisian flan? It doesn't really matter; in any case, it was always absolutely delicious. And of course, one of the best white Sancerre wines on the menu—before Taylor Swift fans snapped it all up in this neighborhood dangerously close to the Eiffel Tower!

21/01/2026: I don't usually leave reviews or anything after a restaurant visit, whether it's good or bad, but this time I'm making an exception because I had a wonderful time! I received a fantastic welcome from the Sancerre team, who found a table for me and my grandmother even though we hadn't made a reservation. We received excellent advice on both the food and the wine, with refined and efficient cuisine in a warm and welcoming atmosphere where you're truly pampered. The crème brûlée is undoubtedly the best I've ever tasted. In short, I highly recommend it for a dinner with friends or family – a truly top-notch place!

16/03/2026: Incredibly well located, near the city walls. It's clear it's been recently renovated. Everything is very well maintained, and the breakfast is varied and delicious. Free parking is included with the overnight stay.
