16/08/2026: The restaurant was disappointing. The head waiter's behavior was terrible. The food wasn't tasty. But there were a lot of people there. That's what we were buying. My husband is allergic to shrimp, so he mentioned it. The waiter spent a lot of our time explaining that all the dishes had traces of shrimp in them. We were left with very few options. Either we all leave, or he's not having dinner. The owner came over with another waitress to figure out why we couldn't order food for everyone. And, of course, it turned out they did have dishes without shrimp. Undercooked seafood pasta is a particular oddity in Italian cuisine. It was, so to speak, tu mach al dente, or simply undercooked. The dough just stuck to my teeth. It was inedible. My child only ate the seafood. The head waiter, again, with the utmost disrespect, insisted that it was excellent pasta and that the chef couldn't make mistakes. However, without trying it and stuffing your teeth with this raw dough, it's impossible to understand... Naturally, we received neither a deduction nor an apology. The only tasty thing was the grilled squid with vegetables, and even the vegetables were absolutely terrible. I don't recommend it at all. The bill was 140 euros for a four-course meal.

07/08/2026: I'm a regular at this restaurant. I come every week, whether with friends or for business meetings. Until this summer, I'd never had the slightest problem and I always appreciated the warm welcome and the atmosphere. Unfortunately, since July, a tall, long-haired waitress, often dressed in black, has significantly worsened the experience we were used to. I've never seen such unpleasant behavior in a restaurant I frequent so regularly. This person is haughty, condescending, and makes numerous inappropriate remarks to customers. During one lunch, she even made a snide comment to one of my fellow business owners. Later, when we simply asked her for bread, she responded with a particularly disdainful tone while rolling her eyes. I find it unacceptable that an establishment allows an employee to behave this way towards its loyal clientele. Several of my friends, who also frequent this restaurant, have made the same observation in recent months. We've also noticed that the restaurant seems increasingly empty since this summer. When you hire people who think they can get away with anything and treat customers with such nonchalance, it's unfortunately not surprising to see the atmosphere deteriorate. It's truly regrettable, as many good times spent at this restaurant are now spoiled by the attitude of just one person. I sincerely hope that management will take this problem seriously before more loyal customers decide not to return. Regarding the food, it's extremely good; the Italian experience is very present, and everything is always very fresh. It's my number one restaurant in Old Lille.

It feels like a real haven, designed as a living space, somewhere between a shop, a tea room, and a place for socializing. It's a pleasant, inspiring spot, perfect for finding great ideas. I've never seen anything like it in this restaurant. Very unpleasant. Okay, we're closing now, hurry up and finish your plates!

28/08/2026: As a resident of Sète for the past seven years, I've always loved Le San Marco. We've eaten there several times as a family, and it's always excellent: the welcome is warm and friendly, and it's easy to strike up a conversation with the chef and the waitresses. We even spent New Year's Eve there, enjoying a meal that's a bit pricey, but well worth the cost because you leave completely satisfied! If you're planning to spend New Year's Eve there, be sure not to eat lunch. I recommend the Atomic pizza: it's excellent, topped with real merguez sausages, not frozen slices. It lives up to its name: if you like spicy food, you'll be in for a treat! To finish, the crunchy sundae with nougatine, vanilla, and whipped cream is the perfect way to wash down the pizza. (PS: Yes, the service can be a little slow, but it's worth the wait. If you're in a hurry, you're better off going to a fast-food restaurant!)

28/08/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us; the pizzas were indeed good, but the wait was over an hour. There was only one waitress and one person in the kitchen to manage everything. The organization needs improvement.

06/09/2026: Friendly welcome, but the pizza wasn't great. The crust was dry, and most of the ingredients weren't fresh; you can make better at home with pre-made dough.

03/09/2026: Very good and perfect service. However, it's far too hot in the restaurant. It's awful, and I've had to cancel several meals there with colleagues. It would be a shame not to fix your air conditioning; it would cost a maximum of 200 euros. That's the amount you lost today ;)

25/06/2026: A discreet and very friendly restaurant in the Madeleine district near Rue de Miromesnil. A relaxed atmosphere and, above all, excellent pizzas, whose cooking and toppings truly honor Italian traditions. Compared to the mediocre pizzas one too often finds in France, these are well worth the trip! The Italian appetizers are also worth trying. Highly recommended.
