19/08/2026: A small restaurant with a very varied menu. The staff were smiling and friendly, and the pleasant atmosphere in the air-conditioned dining room was very welcome! We had the ravioli au gratin with blue cheese, which were absolutely magnificent—a real delight that we would have gladly ordered again, it was so good!—and an excellent Royan salad, followed by a ribeye steak that we took the trouble to put back on the stovetop because it was too rare, but without overcooking it! It was truly a good meal, reasonably priced, and the service was excellent too!

14/09/2026: Disappointment! The same big disappointment since the change. I went to this establishment and ordered pasta arrabbiata. When the beep sounded to indicate my dish was ready, I went to collect it. Since the parmesan dispenser was right in front of it, I took the liberty of using a small spoon, which was provided, to sprinkle some parmesan on my pasta. A woman serving the food immediately called out to me, saying, "No, no, you don't have to do that, for hygiene reasons." I apologized and didn't insist. A little later, realizing I hadn't added enough parmesan to finish my dish, I went back to the counter. I then saw the same person taking parmesan with her bare hands, without wearing gloves. So I simply asked her if it would be possible to add a little more. The cook next to her then politely explained that Parmesan cheese wasn't normally included with this type of dish. I grimaced slightly as I told him I knew that and that I was simply asking for the equivalent of half a teaspoon. He finally agreed to add some. Honestly, I find this reaction quite surprising and, above all, particularly petty for such a small amount of Parmesan. After the hygiene argument I'd been given just a few minutes earlier, seeing the same person then handle the Parmesan without gloves left me quite perplexed. It's obviously not the half-teaspoon of Parmesan that's the problem, but rather the attitude and the way it was handled. For a few grams of Parmesan, I find this way of responding to the customer rather old-fashioned and unprofessional. And the service wasn't great at all. We felt like we were bothering them. When you work in the restaurant business, you have to learn to smile and be welcoming. What a shame!

13/09/2026: we were unfortunately disappointed with this restaurant as we were looking for different food than we actually got. Your website says you offer bolognese pasta, but unfortunately for us that wasn’t the case and I had to get a pizza, which was alright but we came here for this food specifically. secondly, we got basic margherita pizza, even though we ordered Prosciutto e Bufala which is very different and more expensive option. We also had to ASK for our drinks to be made after ordering and after we got the pizzas and waited another 5 minutes for them. There was 5 of them and they were all just chatting with each other and no one was making them before we went to ask. We ordered it through the self service machine. Over all I don’t recommend this restaurant. Unsatisfied with everything

16/08/2026: A wonderful discovery… or rather, a very welcome return! I hadn't been for years and I'm delighted to see that nothing has changed. The restaurant is located in the old town, in a beautiful setting, with a warm welcome. The beef carpaccio was excellent, fresh, and flavorful. The pizzas are delicious, generously topped, and the tiramisu was also very good. We had a lovely evening. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back soon! I'll be back!

14/08/2026: We ordered our appetizers along with three pizzas. After waiting an hour with no news of our food, and despite asking the servers for updates, we left the establishment because we hadn't been served. When it came time to pay, there were no apologies for the wait.

11/09/2026: Ordered, they were responsive and the pizza arrived on time, and it was still hot. In short, excellent and very affordable.

30/08/2026: We came for lunch at the end of August and received a warm welcome. We ordered pizza and mussels and fries. The service was quick, and the dishes were really good and generous! The prices are reasonable for the location (we were able to eat facing the counter). We highly recommend it!

07/09/2026: Unbelievable. The young woman behind the counter, too lazy to explain the pizzas still on display, just rolled her eyes and pointed at the sign, something like, "Too lazy to explain, just read the menu yourself..." Such a display of customer service! Completely captivated by this high-flying spectacle, we left immediately, forgetting to applaud the performer who clearly had no business interacting with customers. Pathetic.

05/09/2026: ✅ Attention Aix residents who want to rediscover the unmistakable taste of pizzas from Cours Mirabeau! The generous, well-topped slices are very satisfying. This kiosk deserves more customers, given its popularity in Aix-en-Provence where there are queues! It's hard to walk by without stopping...

21/04/2026: Second visit in 5 months. The pinsas are delicious! 🤩 You have to like thick pastry, but they're crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and very generously filled. For dessert, we had the pavlova. Visually stunning, but we were a little disappointed by the slightly dry meringue. The sunny back terrace is lovely. The music was a bit loud for my taste at lunchtime. Very friendly service. We'll definitely be back!

05/07/2026: Nice place equipped with misters to cool the terrace... the only good point... the port of Somail is a superb location... it's a shame that the only ice cream shop there offers industrially produced ice cream of more than mediocre quality, which is completely unworthy of this fabulous spot on the banks of the Canal du Midi... especially at the price they charge, it deserves superior quality, even artisanal, ice cream... first and last time for me!

04/03/2026: Frankly, a huge disappointment. In my opinion, it's by far the worst pizzeria in the neighborhood. Judging by previous reviews, my opinion isn't an isolated case. The pizzas are bland, completely tasteless, and the ingredients seem to be of very poor quality. The dough is tasteless, the toppings meager and stale—it's a far cry from what you expect from a real pizzeria. The service doesn't help matters: a cold, unprofessional welcome, and a disturbing feeling that the customer is an inconvenience. As for the manager, his attitude leaves much to be desired. No sense of business or willingness to learn. I absolutely do not recommend this establishment. There are much better options elsewhere.

28/08/2026: Excellent meal! 🍕 The pizza was delicious, generously topped, and bursting with flavor. And to finish, an equally tasty ice cream. A real treat from start to finish! 😋 The welcome was friendly and pleasant; we will definitely be back. A great place that we highly recommend!

11/08/2026: Avoid this place! We went to this restaurant where the food was anything but good or plentiful. Furthermore, the ice cream must have been in the freezer for ages, and there was a mistake on the bill.

17/08/2026: Many years ago it was a real restaurant with great food. Not anymore at all. It's a brasserie with low quality industrial precooked food. The site is still nice.
