08/08/2026: It was difficult to book, but we persevered and we don't regret it at all, as we had a lovely meal on the riverside terrace. The staff was very friendly, they had all the typical dishes of a traditional pub, and a nice selection of beers. We'd definitely go back.

23/08/2026: An excellent restaurant for traditional regional dishes: Welsh rarebit, carbonnade flamande, potjevleesch, meat dishes made with Maroilles cheese, as well as marrow bones, charcuterie platters, and more. The welcome is warm and the decor is typical of the region.

26/06/2026: I went to the store this week around 5 pm, alone, and asked the brunette saleswoman a question. She answered me coldly, without a smile; I felt like I was interrupting her while she was arranging tea tins. Another salesman came in shortly after me and headed to the back of the shop. Not a greeting, not even a glance. I had questions and wanted to buy things. Given the reception and the discomfort of seeing this saleswoman so unfriendly, I left feeling disgusted. As a result, I splurged at Kusmi Tea where the saleswoman, alone despite the crowd, took the time to advise me.

15/06/2026: Best tea house in Lille. Exemplary selection and service! I especially loved the fruit-infused waters.

03/07/2026: On our way down from Belgium, we stopped for some takeaway fries. The service was excellent and the staff incredibly friendly, and the homemade fries, cooked in beef fat, were delicious. A real treat!

23/05/2026: As a customer for two and a half years, we go there regularly. It's a warm and welcoming wine bar with a friendly atmosphere and a very well-thought-out wine selection. The staff is friendly, offers good advice, and knows how to suggest bottles to suit everyone's tastes. The sharing plates are also very enjoyable: simple, generous, and perfectly paired with the wines. The place is ideal for spending quality time with friends or discovering new wines in a relaxed atmosphere.
