The prices are affordable for students. I recommend the Mont Blanc crepe for chestnut cream lovers. However, it's best to book in advance, as the place is very popular. A superb restaurant in the heart of Lille!

14/09/2026: I loved eating at Bistrot de la Gare in Lomme. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the place is beautifully decorated, and above all, the staff are very friendly, professional, and welcoming. I thoroughly enjoyed the chicken with Maroilles cheese served with delicious fresh fries. The menu features many typical Northern French dishes that look very tempting. I will recommend this restaurant to everyone I know without hesitation, and I will definitely be back.

For me, this Welsh rarebit was magnificent; I've never tasted one so good. I recommend this restaurant 100%, especially to those who want to discover the gastronomy that is so dear to our region.

21/07/2026: It's a real shame and unfair to pay as much for the vegetarian dish as for the meat dish. It doesn't make sense. The portions are small. The food is average. The dessert is uninteresting. I was still very hungry when I left. Otherwise, the place is original, especially the convivial "terrace." I didn't see any cooperative aspect to the place, just the trendy, hipster vibe. This will be my one and only time.

31/08/2026: We booked for the whole family based on a recommendation, mainly to try the Welsh rarebit. As soon as we sat down, we were told, "No Welsh rarebit, no potch." We ended up with charred bacon, a sausage the size of half a sausage, and chicken in a cream sauce (from a factory). We decided against dessert, we were too disappointed. We certainly won't be going back.

Impossible, since I wasn't eating there myself. Okay, I can understand. As I was leaving, the boss shouted, pointing at all the customers: "Blacks and Arabs, attack him!!!!"

08/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place completely by chance and decided to stop by after two bad experiences elsewhere… and frankly, what a pleasant surprise! As soon as we arrived, the owner took the time to explain his background, his achievements, and above all, his passion for shisha. You can tell right away that you're dealing with someone who truly knows his craft. He then offered us something we'd never seen anywhere else: we each chose two themes/flavors we liked, and then he created a completely customized shisha experience for us based on our preferences. The result: truly excellent, from start to finish. The welcome, the advice, the quality, and especially the passion behind the service make all the difference. A place we discovered completely by chance, but definitely one we'll be returning to.
