30/03/2026: A pleasant experience at this family-run restaurant. The dishes offered were varied, tasty, and generously portioned. However, the one major drawback was that the waitstaff brought my bottle of red wine already opened and simply placed it on the table as if it were a carafe. Having worked in the industry my entire life, I would like to remind the staff that opening and serving wine ordered by the customer is standard practice in all establishments. Aside from this incident, the experience was very satisfactory.

26/01/2026: Hello! A superb find, easily accessible with parking just steps away. Retro decor, with period features, in a traditional pub style. It's not very big, roughly 70 seats, but that makes for a rather calm atmosphere. The menu features homemade dishes, and they're delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. I recommend it if you enjoy good food and a pleasant experience. We'll definitely be back :)

25/04/2026: A very warm welcome, a chef who is very attentive to customer expectations (at the helm since 2020). A truly delightful view over the Flanders plain. The cuisine and dishes are flavorful and original, made with excellent quality local produce. The staff is attentive and very pleasant. My best experience in Cassel. Definitely worth the detour.

24/04/2026: The restaurant lives up to its name, boasting a beautiful terrace with magnificent views. The traditional cuisine lives up to the setting, all at a very reasonable price. The welcome and service are provided by very pleasant and smiling staff; the chef is equally attentive, checking to see if you're enjoying your meal. A wonderful discovery!

They explained the dishes I wasn't familiar with, which helped me make my choice easily. The food was delicious, from the appetizers to the main courses and desserts—everything was perfect. I highly recommend it if you enjoy Japanese food or want to discover it. I can't wait to go back.

16/04/2026: A fantastic discovery! I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. The manager gave me a wonderful welcome, the ingredients were fresh and expertly prepared, and the meat was exceptional. A delight from start to finish. I opted for the daily special, a beef tataki. It was excellent. I took the opportunity to glance at the dishes coming out of the kitchen, and they all looked equally delicious. Kudos to the chef and the manager! 06/04/2026: I came last year for a weekend. And this year I decided to bring my family. What can I say? We made a reservation for 19 people, but we ended up calling to add two more people 10 minutes before our scheduled time. So there were 21 of us, and the service was top-notch. We all received our dishes at the same time and piping hot—honestly, hats off to them! Everyone loved it; it was truly delicious. If we're ever back in Dunkirk, we'll definitely stop by again. A warm and welcoming place with fantastic staff—a big thank you!
