29/07/2026: We arrived around 8:30 pm this Wednesday evening and received a super warm welcome from the very friendly owners! We ordered a pitta sandwich and a steak sandwich, both excellent, no complaints whatsoever, and the fries were fantastic! A new place to add to my list, I won't hesitate to come back. I asked for paprika on my fries, and they even thought to set some aside for me to take home—a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated. I highly recommend it!

14/08/2026: A very bad experience at Flunch. The person at the reception was particularly unpleasant and condescending, with curt responses and frankly unprofessional behavior. She sighed frequently, seemed to be taking her sweet time, and clearly wasted customers' time, without showing the slightest desire to improve the situation. A very disappointing experience. (Service on August 14th, 11:50 am)

25/07/2026: The service was mediocre... Lack of smiles, and the pizza was too thick even though the toppings were generous... As for the crust, it wasn't cooked enough... In short, we'll try another location...

03/08/2026: I stopped by today for a coffee. At the register, they offered me coffee, latte, caramel macchiato, vanilla... I chose caramel. I went to their machine, and the quantity was ridiculously small, no stirrer, no caramel... and when I pointed this out, they told me, "This isn't Starbucks." It's shocking to be told that. In these situations, don't mention caramel at the register. Specify that it's a self-service machine and that they'll give you a cup. I agree with that. And then, after I asked about the caramel, they told me, "It's the machine..." I understand, but why offer such misleading things at the register and then tell me, "This isn't Starbucks," in such a condescending way? The young woman should really review her communication skills, especially for an employee who interacts with customers. I won't be back after the way I was treated... and then at the end, when I told her I'd leave a review, she offered me cookies. I didn't come for cookies. Update your cash registers so people don't just read the screen and not know what's being sold (because she told me it's what's written on the machine). Even though the coffee wasn't to my taste, the problem here was the employee's behavior, which bothered me the most. And she'll probably talk to her colleague who was waiting in the dining area... €2.80 isn't much. But at that price, go somewhere else... For your employees: review their training, communication... And the machine only says "macchiato," you can pass that information on to her, thank you. Visited on August 3rd around 11:15 am

29/07/2026: He refused to deliver my order. I'm alone and entitled to a free pizza with my loyalty points, but he said he couldn't because I had to start a pizza order. I'm not going to order a pizza plus a free pizza when I'm all alone, and on top of that, he was rude.

19/07/2026: I ordered 6 pizzas for delivery and only received 3. They told me they couldn't do anything and that I had to contact the delivery website. SHAMEFUL, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

16/02/2026: The best place I've been to in Douai. Note that this is La Pergola restaurant, now separate from the Vintage bar. Set in a courtyard, it has a lovely atmosphere and a warm welcome. The food is truly delicious (the baked egg and sautéed shrimp on creamy leeks are to die for, the duck breast is cooked to perfection and served in a generous portion…), the prices are very reasonable, and the set menu is even better. And in the warmer months, there's an incredible garden to enjoy a meal or a drink with friends (as a fan of sweet wines, the waiter introduced me to an amazing Coteaux du Layon). In short, a must-visit for me.

07/08/2026: First time we went! I read some of the reviews and I completely disagree with the negative ones! Excellent welcome, very calm atmosphere, top-notch service, and delicious fries! As a Belgian, I've never eaten such good fries in Belgium 😅 Now that's a compliment! The €11.50 plates are well worth the price! Proof in the photos! We had a wonderful time and thank you! We'll be back with a huge appetite and the greatest pleasure 😁😁 FYI: It's all well and good to judge, but please note that the gentleman manages the tables, takeaway deliveries, and phone orders all by himself. We didn't wait more than 15 minutes, yet look at the result! Well done and respect, sir! Visit on August 3rd at 6:30 PM 😉
