07/12/2024: Nous avons passé un très bon moment au Chalet de Mennecy. La fondue savoyarde était délicieuse et la crêpe Mont Saint Michel (chocolat chaud-caramel) était une tuerie. Mon amie a adoré sa crêpe citron-sucre (Himalaya) . L'endroit est cosy et les serveurs sont souriants et très agréables. Une très bonne adresse.

09/11/2024: Très très bonne adresse ! Petit restaurant avec peu de table, assez immersif on se croirait à la montagne. Nous avons pris la fondue paysanne qui était excellente. Les plats sont copieux mais pas de trop. Les serveurs sont très agréables. Nous reviendrons pour sûr ☺️

05/09/2024: Second time I went to this restaurant after my sister and my mother declared it to be their favorite restaurant. They decided to take me there every time I returned to France. What to say? Nothing bad anyway. The premises are small but very pleasant, the staff are very polite and not intrusive at all. As for the food, the portions are definitely more than enough and the taste is on point. Their fried chicken is to die for, what about the bulgogi that I was able to taste during my second visit? AMAZING. You have the choice to take the spicy dish or not! Allow around €20/30 including drinks and dessert per person. Little extra: halal meat for the chicken (mentioned on the menu), menu in French AND Korean (practice your Korean by reading this menu haha), if you come for the first time, they will explain to you how to eat the dish (the food is quite an art let's not forget), very clean toilets and hygienic products available in a small box for us ladies :) 100% recommend

09/12/2025: Good evening. We went there this Saturday. The atmosphere was just okay. Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost its charm with the new decor, which is certainly modern but has no connection to Leon's origins (beaches, Belgium, the name of all the mussel dishes). The aprons on each server used to give a nice, local touch from the north. Before, we had a wide selection of mussels (more than ten) and waffles too. Now there are only four or five mussel dishes, no more seafood, and a few other dishes, but nothing special. The casserole size has been reduced, as has the portion of fries. And the beer selection is limited to three amber beers. The famous Leon waffle/Grandpa Leon waffle is no longer available, even though we came specifically for it. The waitress was pleasant, but nothing more. I think the new designers are trying to appeal to a younger clientele (I'm one of them, but they've missed the mark) with a rather bland atmosphere. The Hawaiian/beach theme has nothing to do with what was presented before... it could have been improved, but we were disappointed; there were other ideas they could have used. So, we've been coming for years, but frankly, we won't be back because we're disappointed with the choice.

05/07/2025: We were very well received by my children. We had a great meal on the tapas board with the salmon gravlax and the fritters were excellent. The eggplant caviar and roasted octopus were incredible. Thanks to the waitress Soraya who took such great care of us ☺️ I recommend it 1000 times over

28/06/2025: Appears to be a family business. Practice ur French here. Dinner opens 7pm. If u arrive before 7pm, u can grab a drink and relax. U are not allowed to order a kid's plate (fish and chip) if u look older than ur age. Recommend salmon tartar! Do not recommend ravioli. The mushrooms were not flavorful.

10/07/2025: Highly recommend and will visit again. We visited for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The food was outstanding, as well as the service. Our server Ryan was attentive, polite and prompt. We ordered a tomato salad and escargot for starters, steak and fish of the day as main dishes and the pear tart for dessert.

06/07/2025: Those sensitive to air conditioning may want to mention this early on. At our request, it was switched on and off several times. The restaurant wasn't bad overall; the rack of lamb could have been better (Hotel Bebber in Aachen), the steak was good, the pepper sauce a bit thin but spicy. The fried frog legs must have been frozen; they tasted OK, but a bit too much fat/oil. The recommended tomato salad—admittedly not small—was very good, but at €26, it was the most expensive we've ever eaten. The Tronquoy Lanlande 2012 is highly recommended.

20/08/2024: It is an unmissable place in Perpignan. Behind the counter, there are smiles, great suggestions and dynamic staff. There is nothing extraordinary there and at the same time, you feel somewhere else, in a different angle of the Earth. I recommend it for beer lovers but also for those who like good home fries.
