18/09/2026: An absolutely remarkable experience, which, in my opinion, deserves to be highlighted with all the emphasis it merits. This lunch was quite simply one of the best meals I have ever had. From the very first bites, it was clear: here, cuisine is not considered a mere necessity, but a true exercise in precision, generosity, and refinement. Each dish testifies to admirable mastery: the ingredients are perfectly showcased, the cooking is almost audaciously precise, the seasonings remarkably subtle, and the whole creates a particularly accomplished harmony of flavors. Nothing seems left to chance, and yet everything appears remarkably well-executed. Special mention must also be made of the service, which was elegant, attentive, and warm, contributing fully to this gastronomic interlude. The brasserie's atmosphere possesses that timeless charm one seeks precisely when dining in this type of establishment: a certain understated elegance, genuine conviviality, and that delightful feeling of being exactly where one should be. I am generally quite demanding when it comes to food, but I must admit that this place truly won me over. Rarely has a lunch left such a lasting impression. Ultimately, a wonderful discovery, even a true revelation. An address I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone wishing to spend an excellent time enjoying cuisine prepared with seriousness, passion, and intelligence. Flawless. An exceptional restaurant. And above all, a meal I will remember for a long time.

Celebrating our civil partnership in this iconic Strasbourg establishment, founded in 1840, wasn't simply an opportunity to discover a fine restaurant: it was choosing a venue worthy of a moment that meant so much to us. And the experience far exceeded our expectations. From the very first minutes, everything exuded elegance without ever feeling cold. The setting, the service, the structure and pace of the meal… everything was meticulously planned, yet never overly formal. We truly felt welcomed with a smile and genuine warmth. Sometimes these kinds of establishments can be intimidating for newcomers or young people seeking new experiences, but not here at all; we enjoyed an exceptional and personalized experience. And then there's the cuisine. Let's get serious! This is gastronomy that aims to impress, working with ingredients with remarkable precision. The dishes are refined feats, choreographed, generous in both emotion and quantity. Every detail seems to have its purpose. Special mention goes to the blue lobster, a true highlight of the meal. Its preparation right before our eyes, with the ravioli, the jus, and that finishing touch that transforms the dish into a veritable spectacle at the table, will certainly remain one of the most memorable aspects of our experience. This is exactly what I love about fine dining: when technique fades into the background, giving way to pleasure, and you remember a moment as much as a dish. As one of the restaurant's signature dishes, and rightly so, I am impressed and delighted to have been able to explore the full menu, having chosen the appropriate tasting menu. The wine pairing was sumptuous, but I found the non-alcoholic pairing for my wife a bit repetitive, though thankfully she still enjoyed it very much, and that's ultimately what matters! What I remember most is the restaurant's ability to transform a dinner into a veritable ballet. We came to celebrate something important to us. We left with an even more cherished memory. Thank you to the team at Au Crocodile (or Au Crocodile, I'm not sure which you prefer), for this exceptional experience, for the cuisine, for the service, and for the thoughtful touches that made a young couple so happy. A grand Strasbourg establishment, a truly great restaurant… and now, a place that holds a very special place in our hearts. We'll be back, perhaps even at the chef's table.

26/09/2026: Absolutely loved this place! The food was amazing and everything tasted fresh. We tried several dishes and genuinely enjoyed all of them. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and the künefe was especially good 😍 The staff were very kind and welcoming and the service was great. We came while visiting Nice and this was definitely one of our favorite meals here. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good Turkish food! 🇹🇷❤️

01/10/2026: Excellent cuisine with expertly prepared ingredients! It gets a definite thumbs up! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the terrace is lovely, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. However, one small negative point: the behavior of (I think) the restaurant manager, who isn't very pleasant.

22/09/2026: A pleasant setting, but the food will only appeal to those who enjoy frozen meals. Tartare and tiramisu, among other things.

21/09/2026: We stumbled upon this charming restaurant near our hotel. The owner and his wife are delightful, always smiling, helpful, and efficient, even when the restaurant was full. The food was delicious; I had artichoke caviar with crab and sweetbreads with vegetables—everything was perfect! And all this at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!
