01/03/2026: We regularly go to Le Pigeonnier as a family with our three children. We always receive a very warm welcome. The children's menu is a big hit (excellent nuggets) and the tarte flambée is superb. The rest of the menu is just as good, and the rum baba on the dessert menu is simply incredible. Thank you so much to the whole team!

23/02/2026: We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant. The service was excellent, friendly, and efficient. We were served very quickly, and the food was delicious. The plates were generous, with a side of fries for two. We discovered this place thanks to the Gourmet Passport, and we weren't disappointed! We'll definitely keep the address and recommend it.

09/12/2025: Good evening. We went there this Saturday. The atmosphere was just okay. Unfortunately, the restaurant has lost its charm with the new decor, which is certainly modern but has no connection to Leon's origins (beaches, Belgium, the name of all the mussel dishes). The aprons on each server used to give a nice, local touch from the north. Before, we had a wide selection of mussels (more than ten) and waffles too. Now there are only four or five mussel dishes, no more seafood, and a few other dishes, but nothing special. The casserole size has been reduced, as has the portion of fries. And the beer selection is limited to three amber beers. The famous Leon waffle/Grandpa Leon waffle is no longer available, even though we came specifically for it. The waitress was pleasant, but nothing more. I think the new designers are trying to appeal to a younger clientele (I'm one of them, but they've missed the mark) with a rather bland atmosphere. The Hawaiian/beach theme has nothing to do with what was presented before... it could have been improved, but we were disappointed; there were other ideas they could have used. So, we've been coming for years, but frankly, we won't be back because we're disappointed with the choice.

23/02/2026: This was our first time here, and honestly, I don't regret coming at all. The restaurant is great, and I love the decor! 😍 We had a wonderful meal! They just forgot to bring us more bread, but otherwise, everything was perfect. Thanks to the team and especially to Audrey, who was so kind! We'll be back! ☺️

22/02/2026: A very pleasant experience. The fish and chips were absolutely excellent! The batter was crispy and truly delicious, and the fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. The desserts were also very generous and delicious. The waitresses were friendly and efficient. A nice touch was being able to pay the bill directly via our mobile phones, and we could also leave a tip of any amount we wished. We'll be back.

03/12/2024: Mixed opinion. The place is nicely decorated, the dish was good, but surprised by the portion of the dish alone at 15€ which was smaller than the version in the brunch at 25€ including 2 drinks, a savory dish, a granola and a dessert… Reserving on the restaurant's website is laborious, you have to wait for the restaurant to accept while you choose the available slots. I had to call the restaurant 2 hours later for them to validate my reservation request.

01/12/2024: Super good. We had a great time. We were a large group (and had booked well in advance) we waited to be served (no problem that it took time given our number). After 1h30 there, shortly after collecting the last drinks and dishes, we were asked to leave because our table was reserved afterwards. We hadn't finished eating. Too bad, we could have been warned before.

14/01/2026: A fantastic place to eat in Lille. The food is excellent, the steak with eggs is delicious and high quality. Be sure to save room for dessert: their walnut tart is incredible! A real treat in a very pleasant brasserie atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

20/10/2025: Super nice little pizzeria with reasonable prices, very friendly service, and good quality. Our favorite restaurant in Le Plan. The pizzas, as well as the daily specials like lasagna with salad, are very good, and above all—crucial for us—the prices are reasonable. The price-performance ratio is optimal and not too high. And—this pizzeria is also open off-season! So—highly recommended! Important: For pizza to go and in-store orders: since everything is freshly prepared, it can sometimes take a little longer. The lasagna is also delicious and often goes faster. Very nice chef!

28/09/2025: Very good experience, quality and very generous dishes. Very friendly waiters. The only downside was that, since I hadn't finished my meal, I asked for a doggy bag, which they charged me €1.50 for without telling me beforehand. It's a shame to realize this after a long time.
