The hotel is well located, very well equipped: the relaxation area is superb, and the library provided is full of gems!
Discreet but efficient staff, and charming hostess concerned about the well-being of customers!

A caring staff, a tastefully equipped and decorated room, a wellness area that feels good after a day on the road. And the dinner, like the breakfast, was just at the top: fresh products prepared with love… in short, an experience to repeat quickly!

11/05/2024: Living within easy reach to this great place, I, and many of my friends and family have experienced the great food and wonderful service given by Lisa and Franc. They excel in everything they do, especially on their special event evenings, such as the recent VE authentic world war meal so much enjoyed by those that took part. Their Sunday lunches ar now famous, and early booking is always advised, as it is so very popular!
29/04/2024: We have always enjoyed our three course Sunday lunches made by Lisa here at Le Chalet du Bois. Booking is advisable to ensure a table. There are choices for each course, including a vegetarian option. Looking forward to eating outside on the terrace when we return. Highly recommended!

09/09/2024: This cafe is amazing, Mickael Artisans the owner and his staff made me feel like family, not some crazy American evading their space, too offend as we have traveled, one can feel unwelcome or out of place, not here. I may leave for a spell but this (French ) American shall return…. I thank you for your kindness , friendship and amazing food
04/09/2024: This was my first experience in a bistro and it was truly an excellent experience.
The prices may be a bit high but the quality of what we eat is really there.

08/09/2024: This is a little gem in the village of Huttenheim. A magical place where the boss waits for you and talks to you about her cuisine (real cuisine) for the wine you have to ask and let her guide you with her knowledge, it will be magical….
An extraordinary character!!!

10/09/2024: Venus pour découvrir cette table nous avons été enchanté par cette adresse. Service parfait, timing irréprochable et menu parfait. Mélange de saveurs et de couleurs, tout était excellent. Nous reviendrons pour déguster la gamme supérieure.
09/09/2024: Il faut passer l'austère façade de l'hôtel de France pour découvrir ce charmant restaurant.
En formule déjeuner, nous avons été charmés par la cuisine créative et le service sympathique. On y retournerait les yeux fermés !

08/05/2024: Cette année le fils est 100% aux commandes. Le personnel est au rdv. Service chaleureux. Les plats sont les mêmes depuis 20 ans mais on y va pour ça. On se régale à chaque fois.
18/04/2024: Excellent restaurant. Very warm welcome, you feel at home. The dishes are great, typical dishes, finally a mountain restaurant with real local products! The prices are higher than other restaurants nearby but it is well justified!
