This is why we will no longer set foot in this restaurant, the quality of the food and service has deteriorated significantly since the departure of Morgan the waiter and Philippe the cook.

31/08/2024: We regularly frequent the L'Espadrille restaurant each time we visit Le Touquet and have always been very satisfied in the past. However, on our last visit we were extremely disappointed. The quality of the cuisine, which was previously excellent, has unfortunately declined significantly. The dishes lacked flavor and freshness, and the presentation left something to be desired. We sincerely hope that this drop in quality is only an isolated incident and that L'Espadrille will soon return to the level that pleased us so much during our previous visits.

30/08/2024: A bistronomic restaurant offering Italian-inspired cuisine just a stone's throw from Thionville. The setting is particularly pleasant with a beautiful terrace facing the forest, but the interior is not to be outdone, with a rather nice room. As the concept of bistronomy dictates, no extensive menu, but beautiful offerings, each more tempting than the last. The dishes are delicious and well served, with a good mark for the service which remains discreet but efficient. Price-wise, no bad surprises either, given the quality of the food. In short, I'm going to go back!

03/08/2024: It was an extremely hot day. So everything on the menu was cold. We think this might have affected the quality of the food so I don't want to be too negative but the dishes were really hot or miss. Some dishes weren't cooked well or the presentation was off. Maybe it was an off day for the kitchen since it was about 35°C/95°F. I would maybe go back on a cooler day. The atmosphere of the back garden was really serene and the staff was very friendly and service was good. Just seems like the kitchen had an off day.

03/12/2024: Fabulous in the summer outdoor eating, loved our latest visit in winter month of December. You can go for a drink or supper better still both. this place is so cosy, great food and welcome from owners

31/08/2024: Pleasant meal but very long service. One hot evening, no air conditioning in the restaurant because the doors were open to facilitate service. Quite substantial terrace. Pleasant staff. Paid parking spaces.

05/05/2024: A very nice discovery. We ate there twice between March and May, renewed menu and very good products. The daily lunch menu was perfect, and we were not disappointed with the dishes chosen from the menu in the evening either.
