18/08/2026: A fantastic discovery! The Angus beef skewer and the octopus duo were excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! The service was quick and the staff very friendly.

16/08/2026: Distressing behaviour from server completely ruined our night. ​I would much rather leave a good review, and I genuinely sympathise with how stressful working in hospitality can be, but this meal was an absolute disaster and completely ruined our night. ​We ordered two bottles of wine and the starters were actually delicious. After that, everything went downhill fast. ​We both went for the 45 euro set menu and picked the same main. Even though we asked for separate plates, they brought out what was clearly just one single portion for the two of us to share: one skewer with six miniature pieces of beef, two tiny carrots, and a quarter of a potato. For that price, it was a joke. I brought it up with the waiter, but he basically just shrugged it off with a quick sorry and did nothing about it. They also completely forgot the cheese course until we had to ask for it. ​The biggest issue, however, was the behaviour from the lady serving. To be fair, she was perfectly pleasant whenever she came to our table. It was like she put on a mask the second she stepped outside. What she clearly did not realise was that everyone on the terrace could see and hear everything happening inside. She was screaming at her coworker, throwing menus at him, and kicked a bar stool across the floor. We could hear her crying from our seats outside, and when I came out of the toilet, she was visibly weeping by the till. It was awful to see someone in that state, but having that level of volatile conflict happening right in front of diners and families with young children sitting at adjacent tables was totally unacceptable. ​Her behaviour created such a tense, uncomfortable atmosphere that it completely killed our evening. We ended up paying the bill, leaving our wine on the table, ditching dessert, and heading to a nearby bar just to get away from it all. Good starter, but an utterly dreadful experience.

24/09/2026: This small restaurant in the historic city center is very welcoming. We had oysters, beef cheek in cider sauce, veal Milanese, and strawberry soup for dessert. Everything was very well prepared, flavorful, and full of deliciousness. The waitresses and the chef were lovely and gave us great recommendations.

23/09/2026: Good looks, good price, friendliness and good vibes

14/09/2026: A pub that truly feels "local." My first time at Snug & Cellar, and so far I've only seen the terrace… but it's already enough to give you a good idea of ​​the place! We settle down at a table, amidst the hustle and bustle of Rue Droite, one of the liveliest little streets in Old Nice. Next to me, a regular of a certain age calmly sips his glass of wine, then leaves. For a good ten minutes, no one seems particularly bothered by my presence. 😄 Then a blonde woman comes out, sees me, calmly continues clearing tables and attending to the others… and finally comes over to ask me what I'd like. In English, of course! Not exactly the kind of place where they pounce on you as soon as you sit down: here, they take their time and let you live your life. It's a bit rough around the edges, a bit casual, but ultimately quite charming and, above all, much more authentic than some of the very "touristy" establishments in Old Nice. And then there's the setting: Rue Droite, the constant flow of people, the old buildings, the terraces, and that very particular atmosphere of Old Nice. Even without having explored the interior yet, Snug & Cellar already has a real personality. I'll be back to see if the interior confirms this first impression. 😉 What also struck me was the contrast with some other pubs in Old Nice, like Ma Nolan's or Akathor. There, the service is very organized and professional, with young waitresses and waiters from Northern Europe, tablets in hand, orders taken immediately, etc. Here, it's the complete opposite: the service seems much more relaxed, almost artisanal. You wait, you observe, you're left undisturbed at your table… and someone eventually comes over. 😄 And, oddly enough, this gives Snug & Cellar a much more authentic and less formulaic feel.

13/08/2026: Excellent kebab!! Really good!! Professional and very helpful!! Nothing to complain about!! A successful visit to Mulhouse with Nurhak!!!!

12/08/2026: Perfect. The white sauce, the doner meat... the Turkish pizzas, the yufka, the pizzas are very good, the bread too. The prices are very reasonable, nothing to complain about for years 😉

24/08/2026: The food was very good, the atmosphere was great, and the service was quite pleasant.

04/05/2026: After the fourth rib steak, the cut deteriorated significantly, with a huge bone visible on the third and fourth occasions. I must also mention the disgusting frozen matchstick fries. Homemade fries are much better elsewhere. Beware of the takeaway pizzas; they infuriated me. My neighbor had one at his table that was supposed to be a pizza, but it was very wobbly in the box. When I opened it, I found a pizza barely bigger than a dessert plate. I felt insulted, and despite having paid for it, I angrily abandoned it on a high chair. They shamelessly rip you off. I advise everyone against going to L'Olivier. Go somewhere else, even to the neighbor's place, which is renowned for its pizzas. L'Olivier is absolutely to be avoided.

12/05/2026: This place is a disappointment. It has everything going for it, but in the end, you just decide you won't be back. The service is inconsistent. Some staff are efficient and available. Others ignore you. I remember a young couple who waited over 15 minutes for someone to show up at reception. Management problem? Maybe. The pool is huge. The setting is relaxing. Everything is there. And then… poof!

09/09/2026: A horror. A dry, toasted roll with two slices of cheap, square supermarket "cheddar" cheese, a dried-out egg, and a dry 5cm slab they call bacon.

04/08/2026: Good place to eat at Spanish lunchtime. The portions are decent, very reasonable for the price.

11/05/2026: A great stay at Les Genêts, as always. We always receive a very warm welcome. And the services offered by the campsite are fantastic, especially the swimming pool, which was very well heated both inside and out, allowing us to enjoy the outdoor pool even in the rain 😅. Thank you to the whole team!

11/05/2026: A very beautiful campsite, well-maintained and very clean. The mobile home was very new and modern, fantastic! The water park is exceptional; the children loved it. The only slight drawback was that some of the Lego sculptures were damaged, and there was a bit of dirt around the base of the plants (dead leaves, rubber bands, fake nails, etc.), and especially the small pebbles underfoot!

03/09/2026: Excessively expensive: a mini pita sandwich 15 cm in diameter barely filled with salad and a hint of hummus with 2 rather dry falafels for €10.50 is not acceptable, even for this area.

28/07/2026: It was excellent!! Everything is homemade with love, you feel right at home.
