15/12/2025: This Léon de Bruxelles in the northern part of Auxerre is typical of the chain: you go there without any surprises, but you know you'll get a decent meal. The menu is, of course, focused on seafood, but offers a few options if you don't like fish. I tried the Léon Casserole, which was good, although the amount of fish was a bit small and probably frozen. Be careful with the garnish: although it says sweet potatoes, it's mostly potatoes (about 80%). The paella was okay, but it's more of a French-style paella, nothing exceptional, and the rice used isn't ideal for this dish. Note that the drinks are quite expensive. Overall: It's a reliable restaurant for a quick meal if you're not looking for anything original. A decent choice.

13/01/2026: First time ever coming here and will be back again! I had the mussels with garlic and it was absolutely divine. The eggs mimosa were a perfect entrée. The service was outstanding! I would definitely recommend this place!

There were 16 of us in a room reserved just for us, so for anyone looking for a place to have a group meal, I highly recommend this restaurant.

05/12/2025: This is our second visit, and the wait is simply unacceptable. The first time, our main course was forgotten after the starter. We had to ask for it after an hour and ended up getting it to go because we'd lost our appetites. We decided to try again tonight: we arrived at 8:30 pm, and our order wasn't taken until 8:55 pm. The starter was served at 9:00 pm, but at 9:40 pm, the main course still hadn't arrived. I'm writing this review from the table because it's taking so long. The organization in the kitchen or the service department urgently needs to be addressed.

24/01/2026: Several visits on Sunday afternoons for the dance, a New Year's Eve celebration, and a Saturday evening dinner have confirmed that the food is excellent, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere perfect for relaxing and dancing. I highly recommend this establishment.

09/02/2026: On Saturday, February 7, 2026, around 6:30 p.m., my husband and I were verbally assaulted by the cashier. We had bought a dishwasher from the bargain section, and before paying, a customer I was ahead of in line informed me that one of the dishwasher's feet was missing because it wasn't packaged. I simply tilted the dishwasher to check if the other feet were there, and unintentionally, a little water spilled onto the floor. The cashier then approached us after calling two security guards who surrounded us, accusing us of endangering other customers. She thought we were draining the dishwasher, which wasn't the case at all: we were simply performing a routine check before purchase. We didn't understand this reaction, and especially the attitude and lack of respect shown by this person, whose name they unfortunately refused to give us despite our repeated requests to all their colleagues. I would like to emphasize that the security guards were surprised to be called away for this reason, and unlike the cashier, they apologized and called a lovely cleaning lady who was nearby to simply give the floor a quick mop. We are very disappointed by the way we were treated. A little respect and a calm explanation would have been appreciated. We hope that appropriate measures will be taken against this person.

12/12/2025: I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is beautiful and very well maintained; the cleanliness is impeccable. The spa was very pleasant. The room was spacious and the bedding comfortable!
